I've been a subscriber for over 4 years and never had a problem that wasn't corrected pretty quickly. We didn't keep the tv subscription because we don't really watch tv but the internet and phone service have been just fine. Customer service was always polite and helpful. Tech support was also very good. I'm surprised by the negative reviews which is what prompted me to write this review.
Companies like Bell should not be allowed to have a secondary business like executive link to provide sub standard service. Frustrations run high when using execulinks equipment, resetting your equipment on a daily basis should not be a part of my schedule. Very unhappy with the repetitive buffering...

I was an execulink customer for 5 years. Without question, the worst provider I have ever had. My phone service was out for 1 week, I called customer service repeatedly but was constantly pushed off to someone else. I was promised credit for the week I had no phone service. The credit was never issued and every time I called to ask about my credit, I was given a B.S. Excuse. Approximately, 6 months later I started having issues with my internet connection dropping every day. Again, I called to get resolution. Initially I was told a service tech would come out and take a look at my connection, a few days later they called to let me know they weren't sending a technician. A short time after this, I started having phone issues again and again my phone service was out for about 1 week. I performed trouble shooting steps myself for 3 days but still no service. Ultimately, I ended up calling execulink to get my phone service restored. After spending countless hours trying to go through the same trouble shooting steps over a period of several days with customer service reps who had no clue what they were doing, execulink decided to send me a new phone box. I received the new phone box with a power cord that didn't fit it. It was at this point that I had enough of horrible/non-existent service, old useless equipment, being lied to by execulink and treated with utter disregard. I thought there was no provider worse than Bell, but I was wrong! I would advise everyone to NEVER waste their time or money on execulink unless you want to pay for nothing and be treated like a complete zero as a customer. I am now with Eyesurf and have had none of the issues that I had with execulink and I'm treated like a valued customer.

Been an execulink user for years now and restarting the modem to reconnect multiple times daily has been an ongoing albeit tolerable operation.
My new (to me) home was due to be hooked up and the company asked for a date and time to come, they then rescheduled it to suit their needs forcing me to reschedule with my employer...the first of 6 installation men shows up but can not complete the installation because he can not climb a ladder as he had fallen and been injured previously and had a medical restriction now.
The second guy was supposed to show up later that day to complete the job but failed to do so and instead showed up just as I was leaving for work the next day necessitating the second reschedule with my employer that resulted in more lost time and a reprimand...this installation guy climbed the ladder and said that the wires crossing the road would not support internet and that a 3rd installation crew would have to come and complete the installation.they then rescheduled from the date /time i had chosen and this resulted in another call to my employer and another reprimand and more lost time...so this time 3 men show up in 3 trucks shut down traffic, run a new wire across the road and down my hydro mast to the box on the wall then leave as they do not do any "beyond the wall instalation on 3rd party instals"...3 days and 6 men and I still don't have internet and never will as the Bell Canada men that did the "instal" told me that the modem execulink provided me with will not hook up to the DSL link Bell provides because at 0.08 MB/sec. The modem thinks it is disconnected.
Now we have to pay for the 3 instals that never actually got anything hooked up, and the modem that won't do the job...tired of the S* show.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this company, they litteraly out source all the carrying abilities and services to Roger's and Bell who are both disinterested in providing quality 3rd party services.

Trash service go there to save a couple bucks nothing but problems. Lagging losing connection. Upgrade to the best package 1 gig downloads and still same issues. Then they charge 389 for 1 month compared to my 120 it should be at Christmas. Place is garbage!
Although I cannot rate below 1 star I would if this could be done. Execulink recently installed cable in my neighborhood, doing a lot of digging up yards. Their method of repairing the digging was less than satisfactory, my neighborhood is now full of yards with patchy dead grass from their work, further, they damaged my driveway while digging cracking a patio stone which borders my driveway. Although these stones are hard to replace absolutely no effort was made by them to even attempt it. I emailed them at least 6 times always with a response and a promise that this issue would be repaired, that's 2 months ago and not even an inspection of the damage at their end. My point, why would anyone want to deal with a company that is so irresponsible and simply does not care about their work.

Ever since our internet and cable equipment was "updated", we've had nothing but trouble. Internet shuts off randomly sometimes several times a day then not for another day or two. Very frustrating! Terrible for online school
The company has decided that my business isn't worth anything. They changed to a paperless system so they can shut down the services of paying customers the day the bill becomes due. Not even 24 hour grace period. Then to add insult to injury the Rogers outage happened and after service was restored my speed was less than half what it used to be. And what do I get from the company? After an hour on hold I get no discount, instead I get hung up on. Horrible, Horrible customer service. Good thing there is dozens and dozens of ISPs.

Buy your own router. The rental fee pays for the router and modem within one year.

I'm writing everywhere online about the quality of the internet I currently use at Execulink. It's minimal at best. The internet constantly drops at all hours of the day, even more at night, I'm a distance education student so it absolutely is hindering my education. My partner works from home and it constantly drops during her shifts. Execulink Support has said many times that the internet to my building is too high? They've sent me 3 modems too, saying it's the modem, and 2 routers. And have had me replace multiple coaxial and Ethernet cords. Take my review as you will, this is only my experience. I'm beyond fed up.
Stay far away from Execulink, their service is garbage, you will get better reception using a coat hanger, the CEO is a crook and should be fired, in fact they should be shut down due to their fraudulent joke of what they call internet service, they lie, cheat and steal, quote you one price then they increase the price on your first statement. They have zero service, their people are incompetent and any one who is an employee is either an uneducated fool or just plain stupid, and you can't fix stupid...
The internet connection comes and goes randomly. When you try to reach their customer support, you gotta wait a minimum of 15 minutes, regardless of where you are in the queue. Then some $#*! answers the phone and is not helpful at all. Just go with one of the big companies. It's not worth it.
So I had to buy a new computer as my old one died. I had to therefore set up my email account again in the default (I use an apple Mac) "Mail" program. I have done this before, its a bunch of settings, I don't know what they mean but usually I called in and they would walk me through it. No more. They no longer offer this "service" but hey, you are more than welcome to log into the execulink website each time. What a crock of $#*!. The customer service rep admitted they used to do this but they don't do it anymore. So what exactly does tech support offer? Not a whole lot. They also do not offer any assistance setting up routers apparently (fortunately I didn't need this). So here we are. I was able to set it up to where i am receiving emails but can not send any out. Is this the way of the future. Just a giant F You to the customers. So much for service. I hate what this world is coming to.
I have now been three days without proper service. 14 calls in and they are still unable to portal my number to my new provider after they allowed the portal request to expire. I haven't been able to text so when I could text to say yes to the switch, I called in. No problem was what I was told. Overnight nothing was switched. I have travelled to the US on two occasions while with Execulink and had no service. This was the last straw. They can't even manage my swap to a more reliable provider.
I am currently still using their TV and Internet services but I am really asking why.
Have had problems with our internet going out and getting worse over time. Have gone through multiple off site "fixes" spending hours and hours only for the problem to return shortly after. Refused to send out technician. Avoid Execulink!

I cancelled their overpriced low speed internet to go to teksavy 3 months ago and they just sent me a charge for those three months. Honestly the worst company I've ever dealt with. Disgusting, don't waste your money.
Told them when I ordered the service I don't need a router. Told them several times. They shipped a router and charged me rent. They wanted me to pay the return shipping. They were difficult about rebating the rental fees.
The service worked. Speed dropped somewhere around the fourth month. I didn't care too much since it was still reasonable. Now they want more money. Didn't send me the bill where it shows the increase that way you just wind up owing more. Just like all the dirty companies Canada has to put up with. They could have had my patronage forever. CEO and owner/manager of this company are go nowhere mindless losers with no imagination. Two stars for reasonable service. -3 stars for being the scrub every other company is.
Has to be the worst there is, constantly freezing, depends on the day if I'm going to get certain channels I'm paying for, primitive equipment and the same stupid response from the so called "customer service", I've given up on even trying to get any issues rectified as they know their the only game around, this is what happens when there is no competition!
I would never recommend! I had the service for a total of a month during this time I was only able to connect to the Internet 3 times. I cancelled my services and gave back the equipment now I am being charged 72.01 for a restocking fee for a rented modem!

Lost my internet.
Called your office and I get someone on the phone with an accent plus me being over 80 and hard of hearing. I couldn't understand a thing she was asking.
My daughter called for me, apparently I had underpaid my bil by $11 and you closed my internet after all these years and never missed a payment.

I recently bought 50 Mb download / 10 Mb upload service from Execulink. At the time of purchase i inquired if that is a guarantee speed up / down and they responded yes it is guaranteed. Unfortunately they did not tell the truth. My download speed has never exceeded 25 mps and upload 7 to 8 tops. Now they tell me that if direct connected it does give as stated but as we all know most of us no longer direct connect but have WiFi connections on most items we own. Why state a speed to begin with if not guaranteed or at lest 80% or better rather the the less then 50 % actually received on wifi. They also said that distance from the router makes a big difference. My laptop and Tv are within 4ft. They are actually trying to push their router as they will not assist troubleshooting if you do not have their router and will change you for that service.
I have called numerous times for help with tv they will not call back to assist me. Lousy system for help. Got through 2 days ago and not fixed yet. I think they have blocked my # can not delete taped programs. Maxed out on my time. Can not record anything. Called numerous times no call back. Will try to find another supplier.
Came over to Execulink a month ago. Internet is very unstable Disconnect and reconnects continuously. Also was charged a 65.00 admin fee for coming to them That their sites says they wave if coming from another provider. They do not waive the fee even when they tell they will. I spoke with Michael who was very friendly. However I was disconnected and spoke to another associate who was very rude. I would not recommend them to anyone.
I only gove one star becaue i cannot give 0! Execulink has suspended my service because i paid my bill on the agreed upon date! They shut my internet off wrongfully and wont turn it back on until their bank deposits the money. It doesnt seem to matter that i have proof of payment somehow its my responsibility to insure that their bank does their job on time? How ridiculous and absurd can you be. I was depending on my internet for a zoom call about my disabled daughters health that did not happen because of execulink and their negligence so i had to take the day off work to deal with it in person, right before christmas this year when everything is so tight i have so little to give my kids and now its 20% less because of execulink. So in fact execulink has stolen 20% of my kids christmas gifts! I only say these truths so if your thinking of or on the fence about execulink please save yourself and go with their competitors!

Current and soon to be Ex-user. They constantly try to take my money for the bill between 1-2am, when they say it shouldn't be taken until around 6-7am resulting in additional charges.
And the packages online do not reflect the actual quality of the product or contection to the internet.
I bought what was listed as the "Gaming package" only to receive 9mb download speed for $125 + tax

Two and a half days ago, my new 4-month old modem stopped working. Nobody I spoke to would or could explain how this happened. I was informed that I would receive a new modem in two days. Without internet access, I could not work. I had to drive into Toronto (257.2 kms round trip) to complete and submit the project (secured server). When the modem arrived two days later having sat outside my door for 4 hours in -11, I waited 23 minutes for tech service that took 20 minutes to set up the modem only to be told that in one to 24 hours, I would have internet. Now I know for sure that I am not a valued or important customer. This amounts to what I suspect will become three days without internet for no discernable reason in the first place. I have almost lost a contract and expect that I will be making the 257.2 km drive to the office and back tomorrow. With internet, this would have been entirely unnecessary. I know ExecuLink will not reimburse my monetary expenses or take into consideration the 2 days and perhaps/maybe/could be another 24 hours of waiting for the modem to re-set or whatever. Anything has to be better than this.
Tip for consumers:
Roger and Bell might be nasty monopolies but I bet the customer service might matter a bit more. Just a hunch.
