The prices are wild considering I paid 25 for early access to clothes greatly used for high priced baby equipment. I could buy brand new for less! A walker i wanted was 69 dollars. Its 70 on amazon. And a bouncer i needed was 89. Same price on amazon. Clothhes were all mostly above 5 dollars. 10 or more bucks for a used 6 month old outfit is sad. Wish I could get my money and time back but at least I know now!
Tip for consumers:
Go on free days to check it out don't buy a ticket. Not worth it
I went to the JBF sale in Plano. The prices are unbelievable. The consigning parents charge as much as $20 for a pair of used toddler jeans that are faded and $15 for old T-shirts. This was fairly consistent across the board. There were a few clothing items under $5, but not many. And on half price day, almost nothing was half price (a star on the tag means it's not half price). I have been to other consignment sales and this is the most expensive one by far. Reality is, I can get new items for the exact same price or less.
Just Between Friends is a collation of vendors and consignors who sell maternity and baby products at reduced prices at various events throughout the year. The Just Between Friends website allows you to keep track of the JBF events in your area, register for events, and even become a consignor yourself and sell new or gently used maternity and baby items. This is a really good resource for saving money, and even making money, on all that baby stuff that your little one needs right now but will outgrow in 2 months!
