I was a member of Mayo since 2015 after moving to the area. No major health problems with exception of one medication provided in late 15. I had some major symptoms in June 19 and was advised to go to Mayo emergency room. Terrible experience. Was told by doctor that our doctors "do research" and "don't follow patients". I was then told to locate treatment outside of Mayo despite having a prescription and treatment from Dr. Bruce Kimball for 4 years! For this horrible experience I was billed $3000 after insurance. Their "patient experience"
Department was totally useless, did nothing but refuse to reimburse for the emergency room disaster. I've since fired this incompetent outfit and hope the marketplace (and lawyers) will hold them accountable. I won't spend another dime on this outrageously expensive clinic.

Disgraceful that Mayo will not except V A Insurance so our veterans have the option to get care there if they choose to. They served our country, some giving their life others limbs and worse. Terrible and greedy.

I reached out to both the FL & MN clinics and scheduled an appointment for a consult on the phone. I have not been diagnosed for my condition since it started in June 2021.

Not only did every customer service rep tell me within in 2 mins that they have no availability for me currently or ever, but they were also all rude, insensitive, unprofessional, curt, and tried ending the call within 2 minutes of it starting.

I reached out to Mayo Clinic because no one can diagnosis my health condition and telling me to see someone locally is not helpful, I have done that. I thought Mayo was supposed to help people with health issues that no one else can seem to figure out in the name of research. I guess I misunderstood the mission.

I saw Dr. Misha Pless in neurology at the mayo clinic today. I went and saw him for an eye condition I have it was a complete waste of time. He cut my wife off to her three times that I can remember when she was trying to explain things and also cut me off as well all he was concerned about was notes on a computer. We drove over eight hours, $1000 later and the appointment was a waste of time we both walked out like what just happened here. He treated us like we were a tree on the side of the road. He gave us no answers and nowhere to go not even a referral definitely would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I never knew that a physician was able to with track their statement or follow up for examinations such as a MRI and Neurologist. How do doctors records become void? This physician TK openly acknowledged and stated that he only does what Worker's Compensation says to do. I've always believed that the physician had the upper hand. When did the physician become the puppet? He lied he's a hypocrite and I can openly say he has abandoned his oath as a physician and is not to be trusted. The good lord sees all in the righteousness in people. My opinion I would fear for my soul. After reading the doctors follow up review I can not believe he lied again. Do not trust.

I need help diagnosing if my wife has a personality disorder. Mayo Clinic came up as the best rated source of such patient care. I filled out their mental health form and submitted it. They set up a phone consultation on March 16 at 9AM and reminded me by text 3 times. They did not call me and when I called them they told me they discontinued that patient care service in June of 2022! I see their reviews are very mediocre on Consumer Affairs. These are terribly incompetent, useless psychiatric services. Do not waste your time with Mayo Clinic. I guarantee you disappointment and in my case more damage to my already fractured marriage!

Everyone said "go to Mayo they will figure out what's wrong with you." 18 months after sending my info. Mayo finally set up my appts. My symptoms were dizziness, ringing in the ears and constant stiff neck. I TALKED with 5 different drs. Over 5 days and the results were the same as before we went there. What a waste of time and money!

I've had fairly good service until I tried to set up a payment plan, we agreed to one thing then they turned around and sent half of my bill to collections, and still expected me to keep up on 2 bills now instead on our agreed amount. Very dissapointed in how they can't keep their word and ur just expected to deal with the mistakes they made. Then they lie and tell you this is what you agreed to when who would set up a payment plan if they were just going to send it to collections before the first payment could be made anyway.

Dr. Robert H Thompson working at Mayo Clinic as a research Urologist did a brutal, diabeling, devastating surgery on me which made me disabeled with chronic pain. Students and residenst experimented on my. He did not show up on the scheduled apointment before the surgery. The 2nd year resident had no clue about the procedure and it possible complications. Mayo is the last hospital you want surgery. Mayo had over 2000 complains last year. All of them were ignored. Mayo gets paid by the number of organs the surgeon removes not by the diseas. Hovard University revied tha case: NO biopsy, not surgery was indicated. Normal live expextancy. Mayo CEO makes $3.47 million a year. You are totally ignored as Patient

Quite disappointed with the poor care, follow through, scheduling,...everything at Mayo Phoenix. They let my 33 year old daughter go 60+ days post relapse after a stem cell transplant for AML with nothing. The cancer went extramedullary and she ended up in ICU and eventually died there. So many issues with Mayo doctors-overall many condescending comments and lack of following. So many different doctors rotating and each not knowing what was going on, instead of one main physician. We wrote to the Office of Patient Experience (OPX) and this was just a sham. I would never go here!

Its simple they Lie they do not take respectability for the incompetent Actions made by idiots that should't be permitted to treat a Dog. Doctor James Blasko, Moved from Waycross Georgia. Like I can't post about him where ever he may go. I have no doubt Some of the same nursing staff still work at the Waycross Hospital. They are not to be trusted. If they screw up they will cover up!

I have been to the Mayo clinic for 2 episodes of care. Both episodes were similar experience in lack of coordination, The most recent had the most inappropriate physician, who is attempting to use his doctor card to intimidate and bully his patients and staff. He acts out, intimidates and has a resident who is going to ho along with it because his career is at stake. Wake up Mayo Clinic, review your staff and stop your physicians from harassment of other staff and patients. This applies to the the chiefs of the department.

The management at Mankato location is completely lacking. Many of the providers leave after a year of work. Management just doesn't care about employees, they just like to sit doing nothing collecting paychecks. Patient needs do not come first, only Mayo's financial goals come first.

Is employed there. Does not respect women, mental health care, or professionalism. Do NOT see him there ladies. Flagrantly employing him by the Mayo Clinic is so unacceptable. He does not deserve the esteemed affiliation.

I went to dozens of appointments for pudendal neuralgia. It put me out of the fire department for 4 months. Mayo would not sign my aflac short term disability paperwork. I was not able to pay my bills for I depended on that insurance. Mayo didn't even fix my problem. Thousands of dollars out of my pocket wasted. Thanks Mayo.

My Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction was as low as 13% that month. Dr. Rachel Havyer, MD had been my Primary Care Physician in previous years. My complaints were ignored for years. Dr. Sherry Brown, MD was my cardiologist ignored complaints of angina 2017.

My experience was awful with them in Jacksonville.
Theiy didnt return calls from scheduling. The people in scheduling were very disorganized. They couldnt get their act together. It was a total mess over a month and they couldnt get to first base on scheduling.
There are better local people than this over rated Clinic.

Went here for help again so sick for a year. They didn't help and put me in a room and demanded to change into another outfit while security and employees laughing and intimidating me. They said they were going to lock me up and had to get another counselor to get out. Now sick and terrified of hospitals. I can't stop dry heaving and malnutrition and left like this.

It is discussing that Mayo Clinic only cares about someone's help for 3 months, then you get dropped from a waiting list. After this, you can no longer get an appointment. How does this possibly help a patient get care. As a patient, you are telling me I DON'T MATTER.

One of the doctor's that was treating my son was so rude and snobby! She shouldn't be allowed to work with kids or people! Mayo security do not talk to eachother, my husband was told its fine that he parked his van in the parking lot and sleep in it while i slept in the hospital with my son. At midnight mayo security and police were banging on the door and told my husband he couldn't stay there and move to a Wal-Mart parking lot. All mayo really cares about is money or if you have insurance! My son wouldn't have gotten to be a patient on the rehab side if out insurance wouldn't have gone through! If you don't have money or insurance don't bother!
On another note, The nurses here in the picu and general peds are absolutely amazing. They really were great with my son.
