Being paid less than 1/3 of quote, ok fine... But now you're going to take WEEKS to disburse my payment?! Use somebody else, anyone has got to be better than these clowns... Two thumbs down. Would give a half star if possible.

First online quote for Samsung S6 Active $360.00. Used less than 40 days out of box. Excellent condition. Takes them a few days after they receive it to notify me it's value is $50.00. Unacceptable. Call them, they come up to $150.00. Received prompt payment. Not a big fan myself. Could have gotten more probably any other way. LOL.

Hey everyone, I came home today 11-4-16 and found my iPhone 6 packaged up laying on the porch marked return to sender. Those of you who like
Me sent it in right when they got shut down. The post office is apparently returning packages. Keep your eyes out!

I know... Seller Beware... quoted $500 for 1 practically brand new phone and a tablet... ended up with $150... only because I told them I had dated video when they claimed both had cracked screens... making a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General... not expecting much... but causing them any trouble will make me feel better.

Really upset about this as are many others. I got a quote and received packaging, everything seemed legit like other company's I've used (like Gazelle, which is the real deal) so I didn't even question it and sent them my phone. Now the website is gone and no one answers the phones. There has to be some sort of way to take legal action! I can't imagine how many phones they have stolen.

False advertising, bait and switch marketing, phony disclosure of manipulative bookkeeping devices, unconscionable pricing, and charging for services never provided are some of the many unfair and deceptive practices rogue corporations use to defraud consumers. These deceptive business practices also distort the marketplace by allowing dishonest businesses to gain an unfair advantage over ethical competitors. State and federal laws, however, provide consumers with broad protection from unfair and illegal business practices. Contact me *******@*******912 and leave a good number to get back to u with brief description of your loss with this company!,

I typically am very generous and positive when I submit online reviews. That being said, this website is a scam:

I sent them an iPhone 5, that was in mint condition, and I only used for 9 months. The website said they were currently paying out $124 for the phone. They were going for $130-150 on eBay at the time, so I took the easy route and sent it in to the Sell-Your-Cell. I received an email back a week later saying they deposited $5 into my account. Not just an undervalue, but a slap in the face. Stay away from this website!

Got a quote for $100 and once iPhone 5 was sent got a notice that they will only pay $5 when the phone met all the requirements they listed. No doubt they operate out of Nevada so that can scam with freedom. Stay away.

I sent them my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 last week. They received it on Wednesday morning and I haven't received any emails about an offer or what I was quoted. Every time I try to call the phone number, it goes straight to the pre recorded message every single time! I've never had a problem with them until now. I've sent them a couple phones before and was paid for them. But this time there is no communication whatsoever! They quoted me $374 for my Note 5 and now I don't have my phone nor the money that is owed to me! I will be filing a class action suit against them!

I sent my phone as planned and I got receipt from post office. I checked today to see if arrived and it stated no longer at this address and they will be sending me my phone back. I am glad that happened instead of getting ripped off like it seems has happened to others.

Negative zero stars! I wish I would've read the reviews. What a bunch of crooks! I sent them 3 IPhones, in perfect condition. Online was getting over 200$ for the phones. I received one check for 9$ and another for 12$ and the other check is missing in action. Then get this! The check cashing place refuses to cash these checks claiming they don't do business with this bull$#*! company.

Are usually go with Gazell but this time I found sell your cell online. The quotes that they gave me for the phones were very good. But when I sent them in evaluated them. And told me that the prices they want to give me were far less than what they quoted me. Shocked and disappointed. I said yes to lower prices. Because at the time. We really needed the money. I felt that their website miss leads people. So people send them the phone. Then they give you whatever price they feel like giving. I know two of my phone from perfect working order always kept in a case no scratches no dents. I'm very unhappy with the way they handled the whole situation. I feel they mislead people! I don't recommend anyone using this website to sell their phones.

They give you a fake super high quote for your device on their website to lure/trick you to send your device to them with the high hope of getting more than from other buyers. Once they grab your device, they give you a super low ball offer which is almost one tenth of what they quote on their website. For example, they quoted $175 for my Samsung Galaxy S5, which is almost double what other websites and my carrier Verizon gave. Shockingly they offered me only $25 for my Galaxy S5 that is in perfect condition. I was so puzzled and looking hard at the $25 figure and to make sure there is not a 1 missing in front of the 25. Yes! They offered only $25 for a perfect phone that I expected to be paid close to the $175 quote on their website! So dont send your device to them. You wont even get half of the money they quote on their website for your device!

I should have read these reviews before sending in my (2) iPhones. Both were in good condition, and I was quoted $258 and told my actual payout would be $19.

Absolute worst, use literally anyone else.

Do not send anything to sell your cell. They ripped me off and the police are currently investegating them. In addition, I look forward to finding these individuals in person as well. They live in Sparks Nevada and i have their addresses. Payback sucks.

I sent my phone to them based on an attractive price point they indicated the phone would be work to them. The phone was in excellent shape and met all the criteria the laid out to describe a phone in excellent shape. After they evaluated it, they cut that offer by 2/3 of what they had quoted at the outset. Then, said they would send a check (for that paltry amount, $22.00). They indicated it would take 5 days to process the payment. After 3 weeks and no check, I sent an inquiry to there Support contact. I got a response that they acknowledge receipt of my inquiry and would reply within 48 "business hours" (whatever that is). 8 days later, no reply. Now, they cannot be contacted via those contacts. Probably took the devices they had and made a run for it. Jerks!

This company is a total scam. The bait you in then try and rob you. When you send them your phone they alter it without your permission, and when you complain the refuse to respond to you. Terrible company with no reputable people working for them. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. Terrible terrible terrible!

I wish I would have seen these reviews first! Sent them an iPhone 5s that was in great condition just had a poor battery. They notified me of getting my phone but never paid me. Then when I got in touch with them they offered me $5 said my phone was in poor shape. Not true it was in a case the whole time I owned it. After I asked for my phone back and told them they were a rip off they gave me $20 more and told me my phone had already been recycled. How!?!? I never accepted the offer? Unreal business they need to be investigated and shut down!

I went on their site to sell an iPhone 6+. I was quoted $310.00. I received an email two weeks later saying $30.00 would be placed in my account. I am going to do everything in my power to expose them and get them shut down!

According to sell-your-cell's website, they offered $140 for my iPhone 5 in "good" condition. I sent in the phone, they evaluated it and paid me $22. When I called, they said it had small scratches on the back of the phone and on the screen (which I doubt since it had a screen protector and was handled carefully), but they offered to pay me an additional $22. So they took me for $96. I should have checked these reviews first.
