It's the worst experience in my life ever. Don't believe anything they say - about quality or especially about the time to accomplish job. They claimed 2 days to slice only 4 pages (sic!) of simple PSDs. These two days turned into 10 days, the files were never returned.

The money back guarantee - total bull$#*!. They didn't return us the money, nor did they return us the files.

They just disappeared. Stopped answering to emails and internal messages. Their so-called 'live support' doesn't work - obviously they just put a button their, but it doesn't work.

Never ever use them, if you want to complete your project

We have used xhtmlchop for many projects which have been satisfactory.

However, recently deadlines have not been met and the quality of coding has been very poor. Our most recent project that they worked on was over 5 weeks late!

I would not recommend xhtmlchop unless your psd is very simple.

It has been quite some time now since I have been using the service of Xhtmlchop. While the pixel coding has been as per my liking, the psd to wordpress conversion feature is probably the best one available in the market. For freelance web designers like me, this comes as an absolute blessing.

I would recommend xhtmlchop to anyone and will certainly be using them again. The only criticism I have is that sometimes support are too keen to initiate a chat when developers are out of hours.

Support is very responsive out of "developer hours" which is India time, but they are not very useful. Maybe even annoying, popping up and taking the cursor out of the ticket box as I am composing a message for the developer.

That is the only gripe I have, and as I am moaning about too much support, I can only give 5 stars!

Terrible experience... Unfortunately the final CSS had nothing to do with the PSD... One and a half month has passed and still the result was not satisfactory. I had to finish it on my own and penalty needed to be paid to the customer after my delay. I have asked for a refund and 6 days later (6/1/2011) I have got no reply. It was my first and last experience with this company and I will let know as many people I know so that they won't have the same experience. I wish I had that information myself earlier.

Yes they are more expensive and yes they do take longer, but I don't mind that one bit for the quality they provide. They actually take pride in what they do and makes sure you get exactly what you pay for. The CSS is well done and definitely hand-written as they promised. Not some overly complicated, computer generated bunch of rubbish that Convert2xhtml tried to pass off to me. Not to mention the code is written well enough to make even ie6 compatible. They also ask your permission to do certain things rather than just assuming what you would want and doing it without asking. I will never be lead astray with slightly cheaper prices again. Lesson learned.
