We had two small projects completed with them and in both cases they ran way over schedule, were poor quality and required multiple fixes after completion. All of which took hours of continuous contact to get them done. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. DO NOT USE!
Xhtmlchop is basically one of the worst PSD to html experiences we've had. Due date on the 11th, but still waiting on the 20th for simple error correction. Day after day of sending support tickets to fix really stupid errors, like typos, 404 errors, and totally deviating from the PSD. I mean what's the point of spending time with your designer getting everything pixel perfect only to have to email xhtmlchop over and over again with the words "look at the PSD". Serious waste of my time.
I have converted many of my psd's to html and wordpress through Xhtmlchop and found them really worth, they have provided me with quality, a web standard compliant website, the Ajax functionality, etc all as per my requirements, their quality has been very much consistent with the turnaround, I will definitely continue using Xhtmlchop for my psd conversions.

Proof you get what you pay for. I ended up paying more to redo the site in fixed width after originally wanting the site in flex width because they couldn't figure it out. Still did not deliver after additional payment (which was my fault for ever giving them a dime). I got horribly written responses where they didn't even fix the changes and the whole experience was overall awful. One example of XHTMLchop's incompetence... they couldn't even get the automatic dating correct. I would create a post for June 2nd, and it would come up as June 2st, or June 2rd, or June 2th. I am now weary of any cheap. Psd to html/css/xhtml site.

I have wasted literally a couple of YEARS trying to get my site built, with all my specifications agreed upon at the start. What an ordeal. Changes not done properly, bugs everywhere so consequently after years I have no working site, not even salvable.
The site was meant to be delivered 25 October 2021, and 5 May 2022 they told me they couldn't program the functionality of the site, I would have to find someone else.
Here we are February 2023, I have no site that works and I couldn't waste any more time battling to get the basics done, let alone the complex programming and the site I was advised by a credible programmer, that the entire site needed to be rebuilt from scratch as not to take in the bad coding and all the bugs.
So I asked for the site to be deleted as it was unusable and requested a REFUND. They refused, regardless that they guaranteed a website to my specifications and they did not deliver what I'd asked for.
I wasted hours trying to resolve this and have walked away with no refund or working website. What sort of business does that to their customer?
Please don't use the service if you want a working bug-free website, because you won't get your money back and you will just waste precious time and energy for nothing. Use a company that the final invoice is when the site has been completed, to ensure that they do the right thing and deliver what they promised.
Tip for consumers:
Find another site that programs and maybe half is a deposit and the other half is paid on delivery on the website, to ensure you get a site and you are happy with that site.

I used xhtmlchop for 2 projects. The first project was a very straightforward design and that was a good experience. Based off my first project I decided to use them for a bigger website using WordPress and the experience with them was HORRIBLE! The design was straightforward but I had just slightly more complex functionality. Not very complex, just more than the last project. They delivered a site that was sloppy and not functioning properly. I sent them about 6 reviews requesting changes and each time I would get a stock response that the issues were fixed only to find that most of what I requested was flat out ignored. No explanation as to why. That is the biggest issue... they provide you with absolutely NO COMMUNICATION. After repeated emails, requests and frustrated pleas for assistance they finally fixed all the issues. I can accept that their low prices might limit their abilities to implement your requests but this wasn't the case. They had the abilities to implement my requests but they just ignored them. I have the email trail to prove this. This put me in very bad standing with my client because I was delayed by several weeks with no good explanation as to why. If you have a client and need to hire a developer, this is not a reliable business to use. Use them and risk damaging your own reputation.
I used their service for my new website and was very happy with the results that I got. The clarity and the coding were done to perfection. It was just what I needed to launch my new website.
