Like the title says, I was skeptical about it all. Afraid that like other stores and sites will over inflate a pc with accessories and cosmetics to rack up the price. When the experience gets no love. I told them what my goal was, and they helped me find the PC that would do it, and well. They provided me with a great PC, it was delivered quickly, and it was already set up for me. All I had to do, was remove the protective packaging (they are very thorough, I'll add) And hook up my monitors and plug it in. Quick and Easy! 10/10

I've order my rig almost 5 weeks ago. I understand there may be delays, but after reaching out multiple times they always have a different story. I reached out a week ago form today 2/21/22 to check on its status (as they only provide status updates when it's being built, tested, and shipped) only to find out the motherboard I ordered was out of stock. Cool, things happen, we get that situated, I'm told it will take a week to get it processed. Today marks a week and 2 days, I check in it. The SSD card is out of stock… Again, we get it situated, I requested if it can be worked on soon as I've waited 5 weeks already (they promise 4-6 weeks). Only to be told it can take multiple weeks from today for it to get started, processed, and shipped… The worst part is, you have to reach out to them constantly to i guess get them working on your rig. Good luck if you decide to do business with them.

Was struggling a bit to find what I wanted on my own. I decided to use the chat and that's where I met Shane. I ran into a CPU issue after purchasing a custom rig from Xidax. I got support from Cole at Xidax for about 2 days off and on and the patience and help was top-tier. It's always nice to get support from a real person instead of trying to navigate through hundreds of pages of FAQs trying to find someone else with the same specific issue.

Shout out to Spencer with helping me put together my new gaming PC, I am a complete newbie for this type of build. I had done some research on what I wanted but was not to sure on a few things. Spencer looked at my build and made some great suggestions and saved me a few bucks in the process. I wanted all my RGB fans to match and all the other builders I looked into made it very hard and expensive to do so but not with Xidax, the fans you choose is what will be used everywhere and thats exactly what I wanted. I even asked to have extra cables ran for 2 hard dives I have and was told "No problem we will run this for you". Can not thank Spencer and the whole Xidax team enough with how easy this was.

If I could give it a zero stars I would. It took three weeks just to get the computer to me from the time I ordered it and I have had this computer just over a month now and it has NEVER worked. I called as soon as I got it to tell them that it didn't work and I spent more than a month with tech support trying to get it to work. I was told I needed an additional GPU so I bought one and just got it. Now they say it is a mother board issue and now that I have had it just barely over a month old I am told I can't return it and get my money back. Instead I am told that I have to take it to UPS, pay UPS to pack it, with stuffing that I have to pay out of pocket. This has been an absolute train wreck. The only reason it is outside of 30 day refund is because tech support takes hours to get on line and then work on it for hours just to say they don't know what is wrong with it. This is ridiculous. Don't buy from them!

Tip for consumers:
The tech support took over 30 days to determine the "likely" problem. And of course the return policy is 30 days. And even if you return it in the 30 days because it is broken, they STILL charge you 20%.

If you are lucky and your computer works right, it might be worth it. But if it doesn't work right, you are stuck with a VERY expensive paperweight for at least 30 days and then you are required to ship it back to them after you buy the shipping materials.

Know your $#*! before buying from them. Ordered hard drive latter i could not afford at 1st just went with a small ssd i got a 6TB WD Black HDD they way charged me twice the amount for. A few things are shady with the company besides that i been pleased there so called tech support is a bit lacking as they want use 3rd party software if needed to fix any thing you would need to send in even if the 3rd party software is free. I also had hardest time getting my free games that came with some of my hard ware. Also shorted me on extra things came with motherboard a little here a littel there they will try to make as much money off you as possible. I got a xidax based on the idea i get life time warranty but dam did i pay for that warranty big time. Buy a system from them they gonna charge you mark up prices on the parts used may be paying double. Like i did just buying the hard drive from them

I purchased a gaming computer from Xidax for $700 after speaking with the owner to find a system for my son. I was assured it was a good fit to play Minecraft and Fortnite. I bought it as a Christmas present and made payments for a whole year. It never played a game without crashing. I was told I would have to buy another part for $500 to make it play games.

My son is still without a way to play his favorite games on the weekends. He's a great student and an athlete and the best kid. I told him if he got Honor Roll I would get him a gaming computer. He did his part and so did I. They are holding no responsibility or accountability for the lemon they sold me.

Tip for consumers:
Unreputable companies do not have an address and customer support number. This used to provide that and took off their phone number I'm guessing because they don't want to be held accountable for the poor product they sell and the lemons sold to unsuspecting customers..

Second unit bought from Xidax.

I find their units solid. First unit is 7years old. Operating in high temps. Has kept up really well. All games (Assassin's creed, Far Cry etc) play without glitches. All software doing just fine. One USB port non-functional, but eh. Started to slow just a bit and wanted an upgrade. So handed it down to someone and it is still working fine. (They will be using far less intensive applications.) Oh and the panel had come with a dent. Got it replaced free of charge.
New unit doing well out-the-box. No issues. Packaging was stellar. (It came a long way.)

Found them online while searching for something a bit...more. The highlights:
1) Customer service. Their agents are patient, helpful and not pushy. They may suggest a higher unit than what you had in mind, but they explain why and it is all verifiable. No gimmicks to try and rush you. Good responsiveness as well.

2) Good range of choices. With basement and refurbished deals

3) Cool freebies (linked to purchase price)

4) Frequent sales

I think they could do better with the instructions in the package and with labelling the extra parts, but likely most people buying from them know their way around.

I see comments about their warranty, but it's just one of those legal things you HAVE to read beforehand.

Giving high marks until proven otherwise.

Tip for consumers:
Remember this is a business. They are selling something. You MUST do due research. Learn the terms. Learn the parts. Learn the specs. Even just for a short while until you decide what rig you're buying. Are they expensive? Yes, but easier to get through to than the usual brand name places that 'sold and forgot' us.

Evverytime i connected with them the response was same. "It really doesnt take us too long to build, it is jst the queue taking too long". Any ways my I waited till my ETA shipping date (1 month!), and contacted them again as there was still no progress. This time sales rep said the case is out of stock and they are waiting for it. That was it. Canceled right away and after reading these comments, I am so glad I did. I wanted to give XIDAX a chance but now I am just a defender for anywhere I see review box for XIDAX to let the others know how terrible their process and dont trust their word.

Bought a fairly high end computer, have had a couple of problems two years in and support got my fixed up fairly quickly with a new power supply and GPU. No complaints here. It's worth it.

Tip for consumers:
For those who don't want to build their own PC, this is a great option. I've had nothing but great experiences having my PC repaired, upgrading parts, and even troubleshooting software.

I purchased a custom PC with lifetime warranty from Xidax a little over 1 year ago. The GPU went out, so I contact xidax to get a replacement sent out under the warranty. Xidax tells me the way the warranty works is I would have to pay for a new GPU up front, then send the current defective one back to them. That way they can verify it is in fact the original part etc (which is understandable) and then once confirmed it IS the original part, a refund would be processed for the new GPU. So I go ahead and pay the roughly $520 for the new GPU. They send it out, I mail the old one back in, but then never receive my refund. So I call them after waiting for over 1.5 months and they tell me "oh sorry. Looks like nobody ever processed that for you. I'll get it handled right now". Okay great. Well then another week goes by, and still nothing. So I contact them again, this time via their online chat so I have proof of records and screenshots should this problem keep happening. This time the person says the SAME exact thing "oh sorry about that. It'll get processed today". So I asked for some sort of email confirmation that it is/will be processed. They tell me "yeah once it's actually processed, you will get an email". Now another week has gone by and still nothing. I an absolutely furious and now I'm stuck filing police reports, disputing charges with me back, and getting attorneys Involved for fraud. I would highly highly highly recommend choosing another more trustworthy company for any PC needs.

I configured and purchased bought my second Xidax PC a little over two years ago. About a year after, I began experiencing crashing / BSoD problems when gaming. Sadly, Xidax support has just plain left me hanging and I've now got a 2-1/2 year-old rig that's just not good for its intended use. I've submitted countless screenshots and performed every test they've asked me to over the past month and they've basically just left me hanging without any real attempt being made to solve the issue.

I'm more or less forced to buy a new system for gaming, and I can tell you it is NOT going to be a Xidax PC this time due to the lack of support - support that is touted as being so fantastic, and was a big reason I chose Xidax in the first place.

On another note, while the idea of fully configuring your own system was intriguing, in the end, the need to select all the various components just goes overboard. As a gamer of course I want the ability to choose my processor and graphics card, but the other options you need to choose border on the realm of the ridiculous. Type of fans? Grade of thermal paste? You can't be serious. If I wanted to bother with these kinds of minor details I'd just build my own system.

I'm a gamer. Gamers are concerned with DPS. Previously, I've bought gaming rigs of several "major" brands. Time came for yet another new rig. I went to the Xidax website and started to configure a build. That's when my DPS drastically increased. It's not what you think. At Xidax my DPS came in the form of Drew Wilcox, the Sales Manger who helped me configure a build appropriate for my gaming habits. I call it "Drew Per Second," or DPS, because he stayed with me and gave me great insight into how to build the best rig for my purposes. He was totally awesome. A couple of days later, I went back to the Xidax website to complete my order and, again, talk with Drew. And again, I had some awesome DPS going down. What a great experience. I now have my new Xidax gaming system and I'm enjoying my gaming FAR more ever before. Having an actual gaming rig that has been custom built by people who know gaming vs. one of those "off the shelf" so-called gaming computers available where you also buy toilet paper, makes a huge difference. If you need a gaming rig, or if you just want to upgrade to the ultimate, contact Xidax. If you're lucky enough to have Drew as your guy at Xidax, then you've arrived at DPS heaven. Happy gaming.

I had a very nasty bout with xidax,, to make a long story short they put a laptop computer together for me that was gaming specs, while the computer was good for a couple years, the salesman lied to me telling me i could replace my video card, which this wasnt true. I had them take my computer on 2 reapairs within 2 years, meanwhile my wife and her HP walmart never had one issue, i contacted segar because xidax told me i would have to get another GPU, and they got from sager, sagear is so overpriced and after a second computer i bought to eliminate xidax, same junk. Xidax while they do piece computers together they do not do many things in their office like even replacing a GPU. I would never do business with them or saeger, to make it right they sent me 3 cheap $#*! t shirts that are horrible quality, along with a pc mouse. The company is great to talk to but when you have a issue and you will be prepared to get jerked around i even had the warranty...

Shane stuck with me and even though I am sure he could sense how picky I am, he succeeded to get me a configuration that truly is the best PC I have ever owned in my life. We had problems initially, but their sales and support teams helped me get any issues I had TOTALLY resolved. The problems I had were not related to Xidax but rather the shipper. Xidax is the best PC YOU will ever own. Is it worth every penny. ABSOLUTELY...

Tip for consumers:
I had to wait this long to finally obtain my dream machine after 35-plus years. Not because I could not afford it but rather because I made too many other wrong choices. To find the best, you have to look for the best. You will not find it at BestBuy (WorseBuy) nor will you find it at Amazon. The system is quiet, powerful and makes me extremely productive. Thanks, Xidax for doing a great job and hiring wonderful people. Justin keep up the good work.

Absolutely $#*!ed people, and customer service. I have sent out a laptop to be repaired. 20 days later no update, no response nothing. I called in to find out the status of the repair. The tech guy said last update was on Aug 30. And we are waiting on the quote from manufacturer. So there is a big surprise there! Xidax doesn't manufacture your laptops and computers!. So I asked who is the manufacturer, and he said I don't know because I don't have the bottom of the laptop to get some info from the sticker. So I asked can you find out from somebody who sent the laptop where so we can track. His response was no I cannot. So here we go, 3 weeks later after the laptop was sent in for repairs, no one knows where the laptop is. And in todays world when the laptops are used for daily work, 3 weeks later no one knows where the laptop is or when it is going to be repaired, or if it is going to be repaired at all.

I was very surprised to learn that they are so horrible at xidax, and their process absolutely lack common sense and logic. Now will be waiting for the call back from a manager. Who will probably tell me the same thing, I am stupid, I don't know where your laptop is because we sent it somewhere.

I started chatting with Chief Salesman Brayden who seemed helpful at first. I told him what GPU I wanted in the PC, also the price range. He immediately tells me to go check out Dell for cheap PCs because I don't know what I am talking about. The Chief Salesman seemed to get very mad when I said someone else had better prices (MAINGEAR PCs). He immediately attacked me for supposedly not knowing anything about PCs. Would not promote this company with the lack of care in customer service.

Order a PC 01/20/22 they recommended a minor change. Build time supposedly three weeks. Now they are telling 4-6 weeks. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. There are too many reputable builders out there that will give you an HONEST build date.

I just recived my new Xidax machine, to replace my old one. I have purchased to machines for myself and one for my wife. The last one I built with them lasted almost 10 years, and is still a beast, I upgraded to a new machine just because of the technology changes that have come along since I built the last one. Sold my old one to a friend who is building a VR driving machine complete with cockpit, seats, controls etc, and my old machine still has the horse power to drive that! The customer service has always been top notch, every time I have had questions or issues they were extremely responsive and ready to help. The one time I had a hardware issue (RAM that had gone bad) they not only sent me new parts immediately at no charge but they even upgraded it for me. There has been no downside to being a Xidax customer, machines are fantastic, customer service 5 stars, and a warranty unlike anything else out there. Buy with confidence these folks are great. I will be a loyal customer for as long as they are building machines.

Tip for consumers:
take your time, work with your rep on the build you want. They will tailor it depending on how you use it. Give great advice and explanations on recommendations but ultimately it's your machine you can build it out however you like.
