Very good news website where as long as you don't swear, your comments are added and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have noticed that on many issues, other news sites (especially newspapers) either do not allow comments at all, delete them very quickly, or take out the comments they don't like. I think Yahoo stands above the rest for it's ability to uphold democracy and freedom of speech. Well done Yahoo!
The Yahoo news page links garbage news articles from low-grade leftist sources like Salon, HuffPost, "SheKnows", etc. They clearly scoured the web for sources that were far-left enough for them. So I was glad when Yahoo brought back the ability to comment on articles (during the Trump years they disabled comments on propaganda articles where dissent was not allowed). But then I was permanently censored without warning or explanation after posting an article comment that did not violate user policies but went against their politics. They also deleted my comment history. If you're not a paying customer, which I now refuse to be, they provide no support or means of contacting them to complain. Furthermore I have seen other reviews written by users whose email accounts were suddenly deleted without warning so I've begun transferring important emails and accounts to another address. If you have an account at Yahoo, know that you are in the hands of immature, vindictive people who don't care about you. Do not keep important emails here or use this account as a login elsewhere. You never know when it will go away and you won't be able to access your other accounts. Yahoo offers large mailboxes, even to non-paying customers, but it can all suddenly disappear if they decide they don't like you.
Recently, while typing an Email, Yahoo sometimes deletes the entire text. Clicking the "Undo" will not restore the lost text. This happens without accidently touching any other keyboard key. This is extremely frustrating.
I've never met anyone who *hasn't* been hacked if they had a Yahoo account... unless they were protected with Multifactor Authentication. It's a simple option under account security.
Something to keep in mind (just like gmail) if you run your email through a search engine company it's going to be scanned.
I like Yahoo! Obviously since I use their mail. I like their outlook style in the e-mail theme. I like browsing different articles of different topics. Their write-ups though looked like that were written from a personal blog. They are sometimes lazy, no sense, or just a waste of time. Most of it though are really nice.
I do not use yahoo as a search engine. I heard their search engine was bought by Bing. I would still give Yahoo my 4 stars for having lots and lots of content in there to keep you busy reading.
Well, I don't care for the new interface compared to what it was a few years ago, it seems more cluttered and annoying. I get that they are trying to streamline everything nowadays, but I just like how it used to look. Still a great service, and I don't get as much spam as my other emails.
The other day I did an online search. I don't know about you guys. But what drives me to my wits end is that cloudy film on my eyeglass lenses that nothing seems to clean. Til I got optix 55 pre-moistened lens wipes. Try it guys now my glasses are crystal clear. We will not settle for nothing less than optix lens wipes.

excellent results!

Yahoo censorship got so bad that they even pulled the comment section from the news articles. This was done so that no opposing views could get in the way of their propaganda. I am going to be changing my email and homepage very soon. They want just left money and points of view then so be it.
I've been with Yahoo for many years and generally they leave me alone. But now they keep messing around with my password and locking me out of my account because the password that i have been using for a month now is all of a sudden wrong. They keep doing this and it's really getting on my nerves because google is doing the same thing and they both get together to mess up my day.
UPDATE: was called by third party today and was told if I got $500 gift card all money would be returned, yeah right!
Email was hacked. Had since 2001. Contacted yahoo, asked for money to verify account. Kept saying needed money but would get it back. Contacted Yahoo again and was told I was working with a legitimate third party yahoo company. They connected to my laptop, (my mistake) and are still connected, cannot get them off until I have professionally cleaned. Contacted by my bank to confirm authorized charges! No! Third party company suppose to be terminated by yahoo but yahoo wants $500 to investigate! Yah, right! Yahoo and affiliates are thieves! Have filed police report and FTC complaint and will continue to file complaints and ratings.
I'm writing this not to destroy the reputation of yahoo but to make people aware that Yahoo isn't capable of providing the standard services of business email.

UNDESIRABLE FEATURES
---------------------------------------
No 2FA features.
No option for security features.
No option to remove the ads.
Chat support and ticket support agent cannot help customers directly to escalate an issue. It will take 3-5 business days.
Lack of Expertise in Technical support; most are canned answers.
Customers' suggestions and feedbacks have no bearing to their future feature implementations.
Honestly we've been requesting 2FA and the removal of the ads even we pay more for subscription fees.
The answer is always:
"I am sorry for the inconvenience, presently we are unable to provide that feature but if there is any update you will definitely be informed."
Tip for consumers:
If you are someone who is looking for a good email platform for your company. Better to choose others that has 2FA authentication, security features options, and add-free platforms.

Yahoo used to be my "go -to" site before I left for CNN. Yahoo is ok in terms of providing a mix of political/current event topics with celebrity gossip. I don't check in as often anymore which is not a reflection of the site, my preferences have simply changed.
Yahoo is the most woke/progressive disinformation that you can find out there. They actively censor any opinions that do not align with woke/progressive and they will omit any article that is against the leftist views. If I did not use AT&T email, I would not go to Yahoo at all. Total waste of time.
I had a terrible experience at Affordable Collision and Repair Beeville, Tx. My vehicle was messed up, poor quality work, had to take to another body shop to repair it right! Beware of this place, stay away
Sometimes it'll make itself as a search engine on your computer. I mean I use Microsoft edge and it use to be Bing as a search engine then Yahoo came up all the time, I try looking up something it tends to come up with horrible information and sites I also can't get rid of this search engine from my computer. SO overall horrible.
Yahoo is the most liberal left leaning crap writing I have ever seen, would one story that is just factual be out of your scope, can you not do one story with out you leftist leaning opinion mixed in it? Just a bunch of turd writings with no thought to it!
All they care about is money, customer care isn't a concern for them. You get a new phone and number? Well if you can't get in to your email better be ready to hand over your debit or credit information so they can help you simply recover your account one time. I personally won't be using their services ever again and I wouldn't recommend anyone to use their services either. A one star review for the service I have received is generous.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t lose your password or be ready to open your pockets.
Great mail hosting services, great news, some of the news reports or articles... You can't find them on some other website. Yahoo mail is easy to use and quick to manage. I've been using Yahoo since 08 sadly I do prefer the old version of yahoo mail instead of the beta new design one. Overall, It's a great.
We hired them for snow plowing paid them in full in October. We may have seen the results of plowing two to three times. They will not come back to complete the job. They hung up on us when we called, also said there would be no refund. Pictures of the driveway full of snow were sent after repeated calls and nothing was done. Still waiting for a contractor full of empty promises
I was trying to find a specific name for a medieval door device. My options were many: Medieval door closures for men, for women, for children, for sale, for rent. Stupid site is always trying to sell me something, not actually provide useful information for anyone seeking knowledge about a door closure that is centuries old (although yahoo! Would be happy to send me to some site offering to sell me one...really?) Still can't find a name for the thing, but I know I don't have a scintilla of interest in purchasing one...or ever consulting yahoo! Again for anything! Now just have to figure out how to change my browser...<erg>
Tip for consumers:
It's a search engine, for heaven's sake, not a retail outlet!
We gave this company a substantial deposit to do a kitchen, bathroom and rug replacement. At some point we never heard back from them. We do not have a clue as to what happened other than they possibly could not obtain the necessary license to start the work.
I used to really enjoy reading Yahoo's news site. It was one of those places that I could find some interesting articles, and they send me down a rabbit trail of a couple of hours of reading!;-) Recently though, it seems like every headline that looks interesting ends up being a video. I don't want to watch a video! I want to read! Often I don't have sound handy at a school computer terminal, or I don't want to let my workmates know that I found an interesting news piece. Please bring back more articles, and I will spend more time reading them.
Not a bad place for a round of golf. Very challenging course with friendly staff. Green's and fairway tend to be in pretty good shape the majority of the time however the cart path's need a good deal of work as they are not in good shape. I can recommend the course for an occasional round of golf but not for seasonal membership if you want to golf at least to the end of the fall as they close way too early around December 5th. I had been told they stay open at least until the challenging winter weather comes but thats apparently not the case. Fortunately there are many other golf courses that will remain open as long as the weather permits.
Lynda is a great asset to your company. Without her willing hel I would never have been able to accomplish my objectives. I hope all your reps are as friendly and efficient as she. If I were still teaching she would rate an A Plus.
I signed up for a free trial of Yahoo mail, after which I would pay about 5 or 6 dollars a month. Yahoo signed me up and billed me without my knowledge for a $31.99 Yahoo Fantasy subscription at the same time. Help line wants to "help" me better understand my subscription. No refund forthcoming.
I have been Yahoo customer on both personal and business for decades. Lately, I felt the news and articles I'm getting sounds not right which means those are biased opinions. So, I searched and found out that about 70% of people felt same way. Some of the news are trimmed to fit democrats' appetite, and to fire up gender, LGBT, racial issues. I don't want to hear far left biased opinions, and articles. Yahoo should be on neutral.
Gone down the pan this outfit. Too slow to login, too slow to open some emails, delete all emails tab appears when selecting just one email to delete and page freezes when logging out. Monthly asked to verify account despite inputting their given code! AWFUL. As too the news page, stupid video box follows you down the page blocking the other stories you want to look at. POOR and UNFRIENDLY interface. Switching over to gmx.
