Very good news website where as long as you don't swear, your comments are added and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have noticed that on many issues, other news sites (especially newspapers) either do not allow comments at all, delete them very quickly, or take out the comments they don't like. I think Yahoo stands above the rest for it's ability to uphold democracy and freedom of speech. Well done Yahoo!
The Yahoo news page links garbage news articles from low-grade leftist sources like Salon, HuffPost, "SheKnows", etc. They clearly scoured the web for sources that were far-left enough for them. So I was glad when Yahoo brought back the ability to comment on articles (during the Trump years they disabled comments on propaganda articles where dissent was not allowed). But then I was permanently censored without warning or explanation after posting an article comment that did not violate user policies but went against their politics. They also deleted my comment history. If you're not a paying customer, which I now refuse to be, they provide no support or means of contacting them to complain. Furthermore I have seen other reviews written by users whose email accounts were suddenly deleted without warning so I've begun transferring important emails and accounts to another address. If you have an account at Yahoo, know that you are in the hands of immature, vindictive people who don't care about you. Do not keep important emails here or use this account as a login elsewhere. You never know when it will go away and you won't be able to access your other accounts. Yahoo offers large mailboxes, even to non-paying customers, but it can all suddenly disappear if they decide they don't like you.
I have been locked out of my yahoo account and no one will help fix the situation. My yahoo account is linked with all of my important information and now I can not get into anything. They are horrible business people and if I knew how they were ahead of time I would have never signed up.
Yahoo was cool in the dial-up generation of the internet. Then stupid Verizon purchased the platform with dreams of being like Google. Boy Oh Boy...that an expensive mistake.
Ive been locked out my acc for a while now and they swear its nothing they can do. Every person i talk to is so rude and not help. I need my acc more than anything it they wont help me. Yahoo is not understanding at all
I have to use this email because I volunteer for an organization that was given it for free. Well, you get what you pay for. Ads galore... stuck right between my email. Ads taking up 1/3 of the page. It's difficult to manage contacts. Somehow, it got hold of my gmail contacts. When I go to find a contact I only use for the organization I volunteer for, I see all of my gmail contacts. That is incredibly annoying since I normally copy a team for the yahoo account. I tried to update contacts and found all of my other contacts. I was furious. I've since found I can group the yahoo... but why should I have to. This is just junk. Do use it. They always find a way to make everything hard. Updates rarely work...
Yahoo is not my favorite search engine but it is very useful and still important and it still ranks as the best that is out there because the site developers and technical team are always working on new improvements to Yahoo.
The thing I love about Yahoo happens to be the news that one is able to get on various trends and happenings. Plus the news also has different aspects that are included such as news about fitness or some amazing event that took place or some event in the life of a celebrity.
I love the up-to-date information that Yahoo has and that is why it will always remain for me a cool site.
Susan Schooley was the best ever! She helped us find a car for our first time driver and spent many hours working with us! Go see Susan for a great deal and hassle free buying experience! Thanks Susan!
My post is about Elkour Lawn Service. A very pleasant first meeting. I hired them for the season; snow removal and grass maintenance. I paid in cash but I have bank records about withdrawals to cover it. To start the snow removal was painful. I had to call most of the time for them to come. Comes spring. Had to call for the first grass cutting many times. I am still calling for them to fulfill the contract, 20 cuts weekly and then I will pay extra. We are half way through the summer. So far they have come 3 times, last time they cut the grass so short it mostly died. Don't trust these people!
So basically my review is about yahoos search engine because It downloaded itself on my computer and i cant get rid of it and when I try to search things it takes me to the most random websites its a terrible product and they have to force people to use it.
I can't say i enjoy the new yahoo.com homepage and find it cluttered with too much idle stuff that doesn't interest me floating around the screen and seems to have issues in various browsers making it hard to navigate, I tend to not stay on it very long nowadays.
I've had a yahoo email account for 10+ years. I got locked out of my account and the only way for them to help me was if I payed a one time $9.99 fee, even though I was already on the phone with them at the time, or a $4.99 a month subscription to their customer service call line. How can a customer service line not be free so you can help all of your customers? I would not ever recommend to anyone to get a yahoo account now. They just want money and for people to get their account hacked and give them no other option but to pay for basic customer service.
Yahoo is nothing but a left leaning (supposedly news) website outlet, but it's nothing but a liberal mouthpiece outlet! I have seen plagiarism, lies and misstatements entered on almost every article its so-called journalist have written. I got to Yahoo.com every day to keep up with all the liberal fake news, reports and witch hunts!
I have been a Residential Manager for two decades, not to mention I have over 30 years management experience. I have had the opportunity to deal with many vendors over the course of my experience. In my opinion tedimatts is extremely professional and sympathetic there customers needs. This why I feel they deserve a 5 star rating.
Been with yahoo for about 6 yes and their customer service is horrible. Horrible enough for me to switch to Gmail. Apparently acct was hacked so had to call in to get my acct updated. Have tried calling yahoo multiple times and ever time there is a extremely long hold. Have been on the phone line waiting for over a hr and a half just so I can speak to a representative about logging in. Still currently on the phone line with them waiting. It's very disappointing. If I didn't need my yahoo email for work then I would definitely of had stop using them a long time ago. Permanently switching to Gmail after I log in once again to yahoo
Linda has been doing my hair for many years now. She is very professional and has a great personality. I always leave feeling great. Arden Marie is a small, COVID safe, customer care salon. I recommend it to both men and women.
I got look out of my account and needed help. I follow yahoo promo assistance and I reach this so call site to assist. Site wanted me to pay money to bit log back in stating that someone from a foreign country was try to log in unauthorized and they lock the account and the only way to correct it was to pay them for assistance. Could not find any more more number to contact yahoo so after 20 year of having this account I am now held to ransom unless I pay. Totally arip off or a scam.
What can I say? Once the most favorite website... The name itself was such a joy. Yahoo blocked some of its most exciting features... namely Yahoo chat, Yahoo messenger chat. It provided platform for so many people to interact. The current Yahoo messenger doesn't look easy to me. Yahoo chat website mode n messenger chat rooms were some of the most used. We have no clue why they were blocked.
My cellphone died at work. I was expecting an important e-mail that I unfortunately couldn't read because even though I put my password in correctly, they need to e-mail you or text your phone. I called the 800 number on the site for assistance, waited about 30 mins on hold only to be told I needed to sign up for a yearly membership in order for them to allow me to access my account even after I verified my information. Sadly I couldn't even speak to a supervisor, Joy(the csr) only gave me a case number which serves me for absolutely nothing. She should've just told me "f**k you" and I'd be a bit satisfied for them being upfront and honest. F**k them!
Yahoo isn't really suited for Americans. They dictate very closely what you say, what you see, and how you see it. Anything outside of those lines and they censor you are the very least. But it doesn't stop there. They track every move you make online if they can get a chance.
Very frustrated at 1 in the morning trying to find a receipt that was sent to my inbox, only to find out that I cannot view this receipt because I haven't logged into my account in a year. Reminder to update all your linked email addresses to anything besides your Yahoo account to make sure this doesn't happen.

First of all, Yahoo doesn't clean carpets. Yahoo is a Search engine page that's been on the internet since the 90s.
A lot of changes have been made since then. They bought and shuttered GeoCities, added an email service, became a "news" source that just pulls articles from other websites. There's a heavy focus on celebrity news and is known to have a liberal bias, so if you're hoping for real news without bias, you'll want to go elsewhere. I don't even use the site for searching anymore. I only access it nowadays because it became so commonplace for me to use it that it's second nature now. One day I'll stop hoping Yahoo will be anything other than a crappy website that is long past it's heyday.
That said... you could do worse, the search function still works, so.
Horrible content collation, non-news news, badly written... the only redeeming feature used to be the Comments section where people could have interesting discussions... which has now been removed "to create a safe environment." Really?... you mean like Putin's Russia is a 'safe environment' where no one is allowed to express their opinions? Yahoo, your thinly disguised move to remove the Comments sections is as unAmerican as it gets... wondering if this was purely due to political reasons? Yahoo should consider moving to Russia or China where their substandard news reporting and absolute banning of citizens comments / opinions would be rewarded as 'patriotic'.
I must say I used to love yahoo in the beginning when they had messenger and all the goods but now, it is just a bunch of news. It started to becoming boring. If you don't have to have yahoo, then don't.
I hired Perfect Plumbing on the advice of a restoration company and did I ever regret it. I had to stop the work for a week due to a friend coming for a visit and apparently Perfect Plumbing seemed to think they did not have to finish. They charged me for a tub faucet kit and installation which was not done. The owner came out and did not bring the kit nor did he respond to my requests for completion of the work. I had to hire another plumber to finish the job. I will be billing him for the cost of the additional labor and supplies. In addition, it was nearly impossible to set up a time. They either showed up without any advance notice or showed up 4 HOURS late. Not a good hire.
Amazon does not report purchases to my bank on a one-by-one basis, but lumps purchases together. This makes it hard to verify receipts for each item. We started an excel spreadsheet to compare purchases with bank statements in order to verify we are not being falsely charged for items. We just shouldn't have to do this. Amazon could issue weekly or monthly itemized summaries we can compare with bank statements. They need to start doing this. We buy so many things through Amazon Prime, so we expect better accountability.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful not to buy more than one product per day.
