The employees can usually never get the order right, but I tend to get over it quickly. The amazing food makes up for the poor performance of the employees. The zax sauce is what makes zaxby's my favorite restaurant. That sauce makes the already good food two times better, and I would recommend this food to anyone. I genuinely close my eyes from satisfaction when eating that delicious food covered with zax sauce. 9/10 restaurant. Love it, would eat again.
I ordered online waited for 30 min. Then when I finally got it it was cold. Young black staff that act like they just did not care. And yes I'm black. Worst service ever. Will never go back. Food and service disappointing
This is no longer one of my favorite places. Tenders are kiddy size, fries not hot at all, they fill your cup with ice w/hardly any drink and tasted watered down by the ice. I'm done. Horrible. Charging more money for less food. Yes, we notice!

Our family arrived at the Cape Zaxby's at 4:03 pm from St. Louis because we wanted to sit down and enjoy ourselves for a family member bday. First off we walked no one greeted until 5 minutes of us standing at the counter, the young lady finally said hi and the manager on duty at time(Jessica)than walked to the "window"in the kitchen and said hi, then walked to the back of the kitchen and the young lady in drive-thru walks up to the "kitchen window", and says, Are you gonna come up front and take their order? So Jessica(the manager)comes up to counter and takes my daughter order(which was a separate order)first, my daughter explains to her what she wants, and then she pays for her order w/Jessica.So than she (Jessica) proceeds to take my second daughter order, which my daughter explained to her that she wanted no butter on her toast, she than takes my order, mind you, my first daughter order on a separate ticket, her food was made up with the sauces she wanted but the food was cold and all she said was could she get some hot Fry's, not realizing there's another young man in the kitchen, Jessica has the young man to takes the toast off my daughter plate (who ordered separately) and told him to make the toast no butter, which was for my second daughter order, stops in the midst of taking more orders and says: I can't take orders and cook to, cause the customers up at the counter have special orders, and said I can't do both... I/We were very upset because we literally drove 100 miles (straight from our jobs)to enjoy ourselves, instead we got back in car and drove 100 miles back home, never had this happened since patronizing Zaxby's. Working in the the food business for a few decades you have to learn your business/customers, be respectful to the customers needs and definitely no how to run your business, not get overwhelmed in front of your team or the customers, it shows you can't handle the pressure of any challenge you face. Communication is the key and all she(Jessica the manager) had to do was grasp her composure within, explain to us (the customers) that they were short staffed, she would go back to the kitchen, make sure the food would be cooked fresh/hot and would take a few moments/minutes whatever and at least we could've understood the situation and waited patiently while the food was being prepared efficiently/correctly to be served to us, and not stand in front of is/her team(which was a young lady and young man). Communicate... she was the boss..., she even had to ask one of the team members how do you do a return, REALLY! And to top the situation off the store only had 1 mind you 1 customer inside who had already eaten his food, and maybe 2 cars in the drive thru, they didn't have any other patrons IN THE entire Store BUT US. What a waste of time. All together with the family we came with, that store lost a 75-80 dollar sell... WOW... Never Again. Jessica needs more training obviously...
Absolutely craveable, daringly zesty, made-to-order chicken fingers, wings and more. This is gonna be good.
