I've tried a few resume writing services. Usually, you send it in and don't hear anything until it arrives in your email a week later. Zipjob has a really good system for stying in touch with the writers!

I purchased a resume service for my husband for a re-write and to maximize his chances of being seen by an algorithm and humans.

Once we uploaded the resume, the number of jobs changed from several hundred to over nine thousand. For once, he had employers reaching out to him; real people, not bots, scammers, or recruiters.

We purchased the service on January 20th, as of two days ago, he is in an active talks with a potential employer. Pay was discussed and agreed upon. Waiting back on the background check.
Even if this job doesn't pan out, this is the positive sign we've been searching for an entire year with absolutely ZERO luck.

Thank goodness for this service. Might buy the LinkedIn profile overhaul service one day in the future.

Hired this company based on all the positive reviews. Well, they must be either paid, or old, or something is off. I had to ask the writer to revise the resume several times (to include correcting many typos that I pointed out repeatedly). I was finally fed up and accepted the resume. I've applied to no fewer than 20-25 positions since mid December through end January. 100% have been rejected. I went back to zipjob to request a rewrite and was told I have to wait 60 days from the day I accepted the resume for them to do one complimentary edit. Definitely not the service I thought I was paying for. If they don't get it right, I will be submitting a complaint with BBB and if necessary, disputing the charge.
I imagine there are other more qualified resume writing companies out there, maybe a bit pricier, but I've learned probably worth it. I'm a mid-level finance professional if that helps add context to my review.

Incredible transformation of skills from one industry to another. The writer paid attention to essential details and created a narrative to embody particular skills and competencies. Very happy with the documents. I feel like a new person ready to conquer the world!

I really enjoyed working with the profession writer on zipjob. She refined and polished my adequate resume. I feel she understood my concerns and made appropriate revisions. I am pleased with the end product and very glad I spent money for this service. I would recommend zipjob to others.

I also had a terrible experience with zip job services as if they was trying to rush my resume through. I sent in detailed instructions on what my resume should look like, in terms of applying for government jobs and it send like they cut and pasted my resume. As one of the customers has said, I sent my changes to my writer and I received an email, stating that they didn't receive it and I should resend it. The next email that I received before sending back my resume for changes, is your case has been closed. They never got an approval of satisfaction before closing my case. So, I'm out of $189. This service really sucks and should get a score of 0.

I haven't use the packages yet of even the upgrade order. And I asked for refund. Andno one response to me. I guess as soon as the got your money the talk it and run away. Not only that the first draft of my resume it is empty totally empty, they even not take a look at my note at All. And my original resume version that I wrote by my self is more better than their work.

I was in the market to update my resume and after doing some research and looking at reviews I decided on zipjob. I was very pleased with the service. My writer, Mike, kept me in the loop and used great communication to keep me in on what he was doing. He did a great job of explaining things and overall I was very happy with my final product.

I ordered a resume and gave thorough descriptions and job title. The matched writer took it upon herself to think she is more knowledgeable about my career field than I am. When i called customer service, i got a VERY rude associate that refused to listen and honestly did not care that the writer was going off on a tangent and did not read the material I sent. I called back to get another associate who was polite but said that I ordered the wrong resume option. This is NOT explained on their websire. It is a SCAM to get more money from you. If you are a teacher, do not use this company.

I hired ZipJob to rewrite my resume, LinkedIn, Cover Letter, and Thank you letter. They overpromised and under-delivered. I was trying to invest in myself and put my best foot forward, and I missed a lot of opportunities because I was holding out for them to deliver. When I received it, there were grammar errors and seemed to be a non-english speaking person whom just compiled by current resume into a new format. I didn't use any of what was sent to me because it was poorly written. I tried to dispute with my bank and it was declined because ZipJob jumped into action because I did dispute it. Take your money, time, and efforts some where else. They are not worth it.

I researched about 30 different resume sites and Zipjob had the best customer service reviews on BBB and I was really happy with how they handled the 2 complaints they had. Nothing tells me more about a company than how they handle customer service. This company went above and beyond to make these people happy which is why I choose them and they did not disappoint. Kathleen took my minimalistic resume and turned it into a professional resume. After asking a few questions she had me the first draft within 24 hours which was perfect and I had the completed product within 3 business days. It was an amazing experience and well worth the money.

Very quick response and turnaround, and I was quite pleased with the personal communication to turn a traditionally "teacher-style" resume into something more corporate friendly. Suggestions/questions I had were treated with respect and I am very happy with the end results!

Cam company! Do not work with them.
I wasted over 300$ for NOTHING.
They assigned me a resume writer that didnt even understand the difference between IT and software industry and argued with me that she knows better and if I was a software developer in a software company abroad I should write that I am an IT person. Whaaaaatttt? Then she completely twisted all my original resume and anything I told her and as a result my job description was too far from the reality. When I called to complain I was reassigned to another writer but did not get to talk to him directly. He reviewed the resume again and rephrased the same thing. So I contacted them again – never heard back.

Complete waste of money!

The investment for a new resume was comparable to others. The process was timely, the resume is a good product and my views increased a little on LinkedIn, but navigating through this job market and how to best edit the new resume per job is where I need more coaching. That's not available.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS! I disregarded the bad review because somehow there are many good reviews about ZipJob. They offer subpar resume writing services. It is not worth the money. Their resume writers create resumes that have incoherent sentences and spelling errors. They take your notes and drop them in the resume even though it would not make sense. I ask for a new resume writer and they just did what the first one did. Paid no attention to my notes and the work I did to fix the resume. Worst of all they only offer you a measly 30% refund.

1. What customer service? I've left multiple messages, multiple phone calls, sat on chat for over an hour and NO ONE responds.
2. The resume was full of grammatical and spelling errors after multiple iterations.
3. I want my money back and no one will take my call or respond to the messages left.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE - find another service!

I worked with Zelda to complete both of my orders and she was very punctual and got 2 of my orders back in a timely fashion. She did a great job communicating and was very quick with her revisions. I was beyond pleased with her work and will definitely recommending these services to my friends.

The staff writer that I was assigned to was very patient and accommodating to my specific needs. My resume had no central theme of the types of employment I held however, with restructuring and highlighting my transferable skills, we were able to create a resume and cover letter that I was very much pleased with.
