I've had a nonstandard career and was worried about how to put my best foot forward with potential employers. The opportunity to get paired with a great writer (Jean M) with experience in my industry was invaluable in terms of gaining her feedback on my experiences, how best to present them, and how my candidacy stacks up against what she sees in industry. Working with Jean M was a breeze, she was lightning quick in her turnarounds on different drafts, and I greatly appreciated her feedback and suggestions. Would definitely recommend ZipJob to anyone looking to juice up their resume.

Signing up for the premium package at ZipJob was the best money I've spent in 2021! Before using ZipJob, I had refined my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile as much as possibly I could after hours of revising and seeking advice from Google and professional friends. When I compared what I had created to what Jacob at ZipJob created for me, I was blown away. The formatting, language and sentiment became strong, concise and professional. I now feel confident sharing my resume rather than embarrassed and uncertain.

When purchasing zipjob package it gave the impression that you would have time to review your resume at your pace and have unlimited opportunities to message the person your working with in order to perfect it. This is unfortunately wasn't true, you have a 7 day period to finalize your resume with only 2 opportunities to make the appropriate revisions with the individual your matched with. They company only tells you this after the fact you have paid for there services. When getting my resume back the final draft looked rushed with noticeable errors. I regret going with zipjobs for my resume and would advise people to look at the complaints that have been posted on better business burrow (BBB).

I was given ZipJob's Barry to fashion a better resume to help me get past the ATS systems. He produced a sympathetic and intelligent representation of my history and qualifications, and he was very patient and thoughtful in response to my questions. As I was anxious to get this done, his thoughtfulness put my concerns to rest, and I am very happy with the outcome. I feel much more confident submitting the resume that he crafted, and to him I remain grateful for his time and his talent.

I placed an order with Zipjob for a resume and cover letter. The experience was great and my resume writer was very professional. I felt supported the entire way and the communication was flawless. I heard back on a job that I applied for within a week and got the job within a month!

I purchased the $189 package that guarantees a interview with a 60 days. After rendering my résumé I corresponded back-and-forth with my writer to ensure that this was the proper résumé needed for the transition from education to IT. It has been longer than 60 days I have not received the interview nor call back. I asked for a referral from the services and Zip job told me that I cannot get a refund but they can get my résumé rewritten. Who wants to get there résumé redone after already trying to get a job within 60 days of getting the resumes and 60 days at the end I have a new job and I feel like is a waste of time and a scam. If you don't like services somewhere why go back to them they basically force you to get your résumé rewritten with them or you lose your money.

I would not recommend ZipJob for resume writing. I was assigned a resume writer who had no experience in HR and all she did was change a few words which did not enhance my resume. When I would upload my resume to a potential employer the resume information would not populate correctly and I have to manually correct the error.

My resume writer was awesome. She was very responsive and offered great insight. She captured all of my strengths and was able to showcase them in my various jobs. She took my experiences and focused in on my strengths. I liked the way she reformatted my resume. I was happy with my LinkedIn makeover and cover letter as well. Even though I was still trying to figure out what I wanted to specifically do next, she did my resume in such a way that I could apply for different positions outside my former ones because she highlighted my skill sets and strengths which matched these new positions. I was fully satisfied with her work.

Martha helped me out with my resume and she did a fantastic job doing so. She made sure to ask questions and tailor the resume exactly to the job I'm looking for. She promptly answered questions and completed the resume in the time frame given. I would highly reccomend Martha at zipjob for a marketing/digital advertising resume

I chose Zipjob primarily for the reviews. Now, I'm starting to wonder if those reviews are bogus. My writer, Tynisha, not impressed. Zero communication. I requested an ETA from her. I had to call to get her to respond. Then her response was, "What can I help you with? I believe my initial letter explained the time frame for your resume. I was notified by Support that you have contacted us a few times." Well yes, I did. Once, to get a writer assigned, because that took way too long. Second, because I sent her a note requesting an ETA. Last week I called because I sent a revised draft back. Crickets, again. Today I called and chatted with support (because no one answers the phone). I submitted by revised draft to her on 03/14. Cricket, again. I purchased this service around March 2. It is the 24th and I have received only one draft copy.

This was a gift for Carmel Balde. She tells me that she has received the final verbiage. She has been left to format it for LTR (8.5" x 11") and A4 paper herself since it did not come preformatted.

Their ambiguous webpage doesn't tell you that they won't listen to your needs.

Their approach is to cookie-template your old resume for THREE SPECIFIC JOBS only.

If you are hoping to have a good, all-around resume that can be slightly tweaked for various other jobs or industries, forget it!

Customer service will NEVER get back to you under the guise of being "super busy with other clients", according to their form reply email.

Lost over $500. Get the word out: The people at Zipjob are crooks preying on people desperate to land decent work to feed their families!

It was a wonderful experience. All the edits and reviews were sent to me promptly and quickly. I felt the professional writer assigned to me really captured my skillset and experience in a clear and concise way.

I requested a resume and LinkedIn profile to change careers. I provided samples for the types of jobs I was applying for and my achievements. The resume written for me seemed like a middle school student wrote it. I added samples of changes I thought was needed and the writer basically used what I wrote and sent it back to me... so basically I paid $300 to write my own resume that the writer copied and sent back to me! I am so disappointed in this service! If you value your money DO NOT use this service! This is a SCAM! A total ripoff! I did not use any of it and wrote a completely new resume fo myself! A waste of my time and my money!

I had what I thought was a good resume. Very structured and detail oriented. Unfortunately, I just wasn't getting much action. The gentleman I worked with at ZipJob took my existing resume and basically re-wrote it. He neither added anything or took anything away and yet it looked like a totally new resume. He explained that my resume was impressive and made perfect sense to someone who worked in cybersecurity. However, it looked like a bunch of gobblygook to the average HR type. With the new resume, I started getting calls and requests for interviews within the first couple of days. Companies that had ignored my handmade resume were seeking me out.

Do not give them your money! I worked with them to make my resume and showed it to many people in my industry which gave negative feedback. They take forever to respond, and I just spent 15 minutes on the phone with customer service how I would like a refund and all they did was argue with me. Poorly ran company - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Fairly poor initial directions lead to merely a rewrite of your existing resume, not a writing of your resume. Then there are factual errors that one of their best writers (which is what I paid for) should know better than. Then, when I was delayed in responding to a resume and CL draft because a) I have a job and b) I had a minor surgery, they closed my file though "don't worry, we'll still work with you," by which they mean they'll respond but won't actually do anything. I had purchased to have my LinkedIn written. Writer didn't even bother to read the existing LinkedIn. And what I was given was a terrible LinkedIn page. The writer clearly had zero idea what they were doing. When I told the writer to read mine, then asked for input/changes, they responded since I changed theirs I should just make whatever changes I wanted based on what was provided, confirming my suspicions that they never read it in the first place. Absolutely terrible customer service. Only reason I'm not giving a 1 is because I'm reasonably happy with my resume.

This is the closest I have felt to being internet scammed ever. I paid and sent them my resume. They didnt get back to me as explained in the work timeline, I had to prompt them for the first draft and then never heard from them again, there were many obvious corrections that I flagged and requested feedback several times both to the writer and the company. Never heard from them. Basic things like skill set column were missing entirely. 3 weeks later I managed to speak to someone in their customer service who would absolutely not only NOT help me, but even though I had email trail proof that they never responded to my multiple proding she didn't own up to absolutely anything. Money completely wasted. More important: time completely wasted and needs absolutely not met inn the least.

I was having difficulty getting callbacks on applications, even when my own qualifications were dead on for the things I was applying for. I did not want to pay for a resume writing service but bit the bullet and tried it out. I could not be happier with the results. I had the initial draft in 3 days, with a few minor edits I had the 2nd draft on day 4, with the 3rd and final draft being ready on day 6, as well as a cover letter. While I have not accepted a position yet, it hasn't been from a lack of response to the new resume. The resume looks so good I have to remind myself that it is actually describing me, and not somebody more qualified!

This company is AWFUL! Seriously. Go with another company! The writer was awful and when I told them about how it was written they said I'd have to pay more money to get another writer. The job interview piece, sold separately was a joke. They told you how to dress and use eye contact. When I told them I know that I thought we would go over questions and how to best answer she said she doesn't do that and it would be more $ for more time.
I called and complained to no avail. DO MOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! You will be so sorry and dissatisfied. WASTE OF GOOD MONEY!

The whole organization does great in terms of trying to satisfy the customer. You can notice that value, but the final result of the product is not so great. Scanning the finished job in their own platform under a different name and email will give a poor feedback even thought that is the product they delivered. Also this resume has not increased at all the amount of interviews I have had, and finally every time I read this and my previous resume I dont feel this is stronger or much more professional. This hasnt impressed anyone, not employers not me.
