I have an account with this job platform and I am glad that I made it since the last job I landed was from here. I don't know about the other countries, but in the Netherlands this platform is getting quite popular. Many companies are posting their job calls here. Hence, a lot of job opportunities. It is good that you can adjust your settings and I receive regular emails about new job calls for the positions I have set. You never know when a good and better opportunity will come.
Anytime I had an interview set up by ZipRecruiter by the time I got there the position already been filled and ZipRecruiter did not let me know that so I wasted my time gas energy. And felt even more discouraged so thanks to recruiter! CG

Zip Recruiter is such a scam! They lure you in with "Post jobs for free" and you think the first one is free. After not getting quality candidates, I stopped logging in. Oh, I did get a few candidates from India for a job in Kansas. Then they start charging your credit card $18.00 per day. I racked up $1500 in charges before I realized what was going on. Their customer support team is like a brick wall. Why would an honest company bury this kind of thing in the fine print?

Signed up for a trial for which I got charged anyway. I still am trying to deal with these charges.
I received over 40 resumes and the majority of them didn't even respond. Of those who did respond and take my job, all of them did not show. It was all around a bad experience and their customer service was unhelpful.
Tip for consumers:
Look at all the fine print and be prepared for disappointment.

Rebecca was most helpful concerning adding new users to our account. She advised how to give them some rights to review candidates but not receive emails from every single one.
Great help@ Zip Recruiter!

Look for other recruitment options if you can. I have used this for four years and each year it goes downhill a little more with their overpriced "enhancements." I'm looking at other options as our business grows. Representatives are generally not helpful, so don't waste you time.
One thing that makes life so much easier is someone's ability to know what we want before we ask. Morgan actually provided me with this type of service today when I called. Good job Morgan and thank you!
I've had a trying day so reaching Nicole turned it around. She is pleasant, has an incredible phone bedside manner and was quick in helping to help me navigate your site and understand the process. I'm sure she not only creates business for Zip, but keeps customers coming back as well.
Please give her the kudos she so richly deserves.

Erika not only answered my question, she also explained how we can appear in Google searches by adding a salary range and location to our job posting, both of which were missing. She was a great help.
Ms. Katie Barlow responded with professionalism and wasted no time in finding solutions for my issues with Zip Recruiter. Katie was also an active listener which I appreciated a lot. Katie's follow up was great.
Thanks,

ZipRecruiter gave me a refund after I kept calling. I told them I was going to tie up their resources until I got my money back. I was in a rude mood and regretted being so ugly, but it worked. Find another job site, this one sucks. They sent zero qualified candidates. Indeed.com and Craigslist are better and cheaper. It's very difficult to find good help, especially for jobs that require skilled labor. Don't waste your money on this site.
Indeed.com is free to start, and they sent good candidates. When I started paying—no more good candidates.

Don’t choose an expensive plan. It’s garbage.

One month package, supposedly top of the line, sponsored, first in search results, $479 after discount.
Zip-Recruiter is absurdly overpriced for the paltry and unqualified candidates that are received. I paid almost $700 to get 18 applicants for an entry level position. Only 2 were even remotely qualified. The rest were from across the country or completely unqualified. Very disappointed.
Tip for consumers:
Find another site that utilizes a pay per applicant.

We received loads of candidates within the first few hours and it steadily continued but a great deal of the applicants didn't fit the job description at all... but the customer service was super, especially Melody. I will use Zip again if I need to fill another position.
I spoke with Rebecca and she was phenomenal. Her responses were absolute rapid fire and very clearly explained. She was also extremely friendly. This was my first time using the chat function for ziprecruiter and I definitely will recommend it and continue to use it after the great assistance I received from Rebecca.
Btw my issue was turning off a job board because we are receiving TOO MANY candidates. Ziprecruiter has been very good overall.
Job results are completely irrelevant to search terms used. Searching job openings for buyers, and it displays everything from CDL drivers, to fast food, to medical professionals. They email me "great match" results for positions that don't have any similarities to the experience provided in my profile. Worst site I have ever used as a job seeker.
My account rep was out of the office today, so I called customer service and spoke to Tara. She was able to answer all my questions and help me through the maze of having 2 postings in multiple locations for 6 available jobs, plus my being a first-time Ziprecruiter user! Thanks to Tara, my day is going much better now!
I received fantastic help from Tee this afternoon. She explained everything I needed to know and did not rush through our conversation. Working with her was a grand experience. Keep hiring Reps like this to speak for your Company. I explained to her that the way I was assisted in writing the Posting we only received Resumes from over qualified people and I was requesting a credit for this month and putting my account on hold. Thanks again Tee you were great.
Ziprecruiter organizes the applicants well and makes it easier for a busy hiring manager to manage the process on their own without losing track of candidates. The screening questions tool is very helpful for filtering unqualified applicants out quickly and the mass mailing tool makes closing out the job quick and easy. I would have given it 5 stars if the price was more in line with other job boards.
Also, the online chat was very helpful when I had questions. Melody was able to quickly answer my questions which is great for me because hiring is not my regular job duty so the less time I spend wrestling with hiring tools the better.
The conversion of clicks is so low for what that you pay, £99 for listing is a robbery!
They do not have claimed traffic and people seeking job which they do advertise, apparently they have huge base, 2 clicks for the whole time is a laugh.
Don't waste your money on job posting here, free options do have more conversions.
I took ZipRecruiter up on its "free" offer for employer job postings. I received a majority of responses from unqualified candidates. Of the "qualified" responses, I was neither able to get responses to my calls/emails nor candidates to show for an interview. When I spoke to their customer service I was told, "no refund and no appeal process." I will NEVER use them again and advise all employers to steer clear!
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site...ever!

Ziprecruiter is a site that helps in finding job opportunities or vacancies from recruiting managers. All you need to do is register for free, leaving all important information that would help them find job vacancies in your work domain. Immediately they find any, you are notified through a mail, so that you can apply. Their service are free yet, very satisfactory. I commend mostly their promptness.
After multiple billing issues over the years - i had a recent experience with Melody, via their chat line and SHE was great. She listened, took care of it timely and was pleasant. I wish all representatives were like Melody.
A company this big and successful should not be sending hard copy mailings to people who don't want them. I gave my info to their company once and then didn't use them and i get constant hard copy mailings. They have zero concern for the environment. I don't do business with companies that do this.
Erika was able to walk me through the process to email a group of candidates. She also shared with me how to link our ad with social media. I was grateful to have my problem solved, however if the site was a little more user-friendly I might not have needed to use the chat feature. I had created the email then selected the candidates that I wanted to send it to several times and it would clear before Erika told me to go to the list of applicants then select each one then create the email. Also, why is sharing to social media such a secret? Hope this helps.
When things aren't working, I receive capable and quick resolutions (thanks Richard Lewis!). My Recruiting Specialist Josh Beckman is also a superstar in helping me optimize our job postings and get the most out of our subscription.
