I was looking for some bathroom tile that only Home Depot had but it was very expensive. Zoro had it for 1/3 less and free shipping. My contractor took forever to complete the remodeling and the window had passed by a month and a half to return some of the tile. I called Zoro and the customer representative said she would credit my account for the one box I wanted to return, and I didn't even have to return the box. I will definitely shop here again.
Nothing should take 7 days to arrive. If you need something in the very distant future, this is a good place to get it. Btw, the website sucks. Take note from how mcmaster carr.
Ordered 8 pieces of vinyl molding. They sent 1 piece. Week later they sent 2 pieces 2weeks later 3 pieces. I then received an email the last 2 pieces were backordered. When originally ordered they told me they were in stock. Now3 more weeks and they they tell me they are out of stock. Would never recommend zero or ever buy another thing from them

I purchased a $632 toilet from this company through eBay. I was supposed to receive it by November 15th. I called several times asking for status only to be told they would call me back. I never once received a response. The company cancelled my order via eBay stating that I requested the item canceled. I did not cancel this order! The company ddid this so that I could not leave negative feedback for them. I waited patiently for many weeks and even called ther company several times asking for status. This company had my money for months and purposely never gave me status on my order. They gained interest on my money! They are FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD! The item is still advertised on their website and on eBay!

Today 11/29 still no call back. I called C/S and am told it may be another WEEK and now I can't cancel my order. How many people get this same treatment and how much money do they make using this tactic using your and my money for a month. If I use a banks money for a month I pay INTEREST! Multiply this by hundreds and it is ALOT of MONEY! They won't use mine again!
I needed replacement bins for my Quantum parts storage cabinets. Zoro sold them. In their ad, they were in lots of 5 bins for $5.97/lot. I ordered two lots. I received TWO bins. I sent an email to Zoro but didn't receive a prompt reply, so I called them. That was yesterday. Their rep said that the product description was a "typographical error." They offered let me keep the two bins sent and would refund my money. I replied that I appreciate the offer, but needed the bins. Finally, Zoro agreed to send another eight bins to be in agreement with their advertised listing. The listing is shown below. Additionally, the order was sent FedEx, overnight. I just received them. Zoro sells the storage bins with cabinet for $57. The same thing -- bins with cabinet -- is available at ULINE for $34. I would have gone to ULINE if I needed the complete set, bins AND cabinet, but I didn't need the cabinet. I've ordered from Zoro before and they do ship promptly, and the merchandise is quality, so I trust them. But their prices are high. And now we get a glimpse as to why: They have to "redo" orders and expedite shipping to keep customers. Otherwise, the pricing could likely be more competitive. So here are my take-aways. Zoro is an honest company, and they stock what I need. They want to satisfy customers, but they could do better if they got things right the first time.

Placed the order # SO******* on 18th Aug and was informed the next day that one of the two items is discontinued and another is on backorder. The backorder item was provided with a shipment date of 15th Sep. Today is 23rd Sep and now they tell me their supplier is not responding. Seriously. Their customer service is also pathetic, until I followed up 3 times, no one would give me any information. Worst customer experience.
While applying for a net 30 account I was told that my account was approved and made a order> Then i received a call from Andrea telling me that my account was not approved. I asked her if she could send out a letter of explanation so that I could see why I was not qualified, I then told her that I have over 10 trade lines on my buisness account and good credit so I was curious of why? She got very upset and told me she spoke with me before as if I was lying about something! I said maam I just got referred to your company and you have never spoke with me. She then got very upset and rude. I then told her i was glad i wasn't doing buisness with this company because she was beyond rude. Quill and my other companies will reap the rewards of my money!
Was a faithful and repeat customer of Zoro. Then last month, needing to return an item that I believe to be incorrect, I became all too familiar with Zoro's deliberate foot dragging process in issuing a return refund. After returning the item per their instructions, I waited over 2 weeks and received no return acknowledgement. So called - was informed they had not received the return, and I should take that up with the carrier. I contacted the carrier who provided me with the proof of delivery which had occurred weeks prior. I again called Zoro with this information - they then acknowledged they indeed had received the return weeks prior - but now they would need 2 more weeks to process the same. I insisted that was unfair as they already had it more than 2 weeks. So after some supervision at Customer Service got involved they agreed they would a issue return refund immediately. Well all they did immediately was send me an email saying they had issued a refund, but no transaction record of such reach my credit card provider. I call again - now they said it would take 7 to 10 more business days for the refund to be processed - and that delay was due to my bank - WHAT? I am still not in receipt of a refund, as Zoro hangs onto my funds via excuse after excuse as to the delay. Going forward I will chose to due business with more customer oriented companies than Zoro.
Very fast to take your money, and completely useless when it comes to delivering what you pay for. They are lowlife Scammers who hide behind auto-replies and voicemail when contacted...
Ordered it, got receipt in email, got confirmation of dispatch in email -it did, nt arrive, emailed them automated reply"we will get back to you in 48 hours"-waited-nothing, phoned "terribly sorry, will contact dep, t & phone back-nothing. Then amazingly an email asking me for my opinion of Zoro, so I told them what I thought of Zoro-straight away another email from Zoro "we will sort this out"-Yet again nothing

Used to get some cheap stuff from Zoro before, wouldn't say it was fast and quality was quite different from description, but nothing unusual for online purchase. However today they beat themselves and just set a record. I ordered 3/4" x 60 ft. Coil Copper Tubing for exterior plumbing thru Amazon. Can't be anything easier. Cost me $220 - few dollars less than Grainger or Lowe's. Received a package and on the box with huge font is printed: 5/8" x 60ft. Pipe has indents and the end was smashed. Also received a pair of gloves I didn't order. I called Zoro and after few minutes on hold they aggressively tried to convinced me that the size is right and I don't understand the difference between inner and outer diameter (work 40 years in construction) I told them that I have 3/4" fitting in my hands and the size is wrong! The answer was that it's not they responsibility and I have to contact the third party seller. I said that I want to talk to supervisor or whoever is in charge and immediately smooth talk turns ugly - service associate actually start yelling at me! After another long hold and dropped call (I called 3 times total) I called Amazon and request full refund despite the warning that the order is not eligible for a refund under the A-to-z Guarantee. Amazon call center is definitely somewhere on other side of the planet, but at list they apologised for Zoro's mistake and promised to help. Never ever will get anything from Zoro again - I think even order stuff from China would be better experience. Avoid or regret.
This company will NOT get you any merchandise you buy, they continually will make excuses and not refund you, i ordered a simple item in Dec. Its now Feb they keep saying it will ship then another excuse already purchased the item from TGW had it in a week, Zoro says no refunds and still have no eta THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY, WORST EVER
I am a purchasing agent of 8 years for a manufacturer. While cost is a major factor in buying, quality also plays a major role. Zoro has great pricing on a vast majority of industrial supplies and parts. They are owned by Grainger and seem to compete against themselves. While Grainger has more to offer in services, their pricing to me is not worth it. While Zoro has less bells and whistles they delivery at good pricing. Some caveats when shopping Zoro:
Website is horrible for search criteria. Very limited and filters don't work well.
An item (with exact same mfr number) may be listed multiple times with different pricing based on dumb criteria. Quite confusing.
If an item's availability says "Ships From Manufacturer" or "Backordered", avoid it. You may or may not see it for a long while and Zoro is notorious for cancelling an order item within days of placing an order for such an item.
Customer service has 0 product knowledge so don't expect much from them on product info.
Order history search is dismal.
Website login is spotty at best. They should trash the online website and start from scratch.
The only saving grace is pricing and customer service with product issues or delivery. It barely makes the trouble of dealing with them bearable.

'3 tins of blackjack roof covering. All badly dented, looking like they've been dropped off roofs. When I contacted them they were only concerned if they had leaked. I wouldn't buy tins with dents all over the top, bottom and sides. Looks like they've been selling damaged reject goods. Maybe they could advertise the state their goods are being sent in. I've complained but you did nothing other than ask if the tins had leaked. Response is pointless. You're useless. After numerous e-mails, sending photos of damaged tins, sending tins back, I neither have the goods or 50 pounds I paid for them. Think that constitutes theft. Am sorting this through Paypal and the bank. I will also contact trading standards. This company is a rogue trader. Can see from other reviews that I am not the only one to encounter such despicable service. They have decided to ignore me. They have stolen my 50 pounds. I'll not be going away. They used Parcel Force to deliver the goods. No decent delivery driver/company would have delivered goods in such a poor state. Don't know what they have actually done with the returned goods. You'd have expected the replacements to be delivered at the same time as the damaged goods were returned. Disgusted with Zoro and Parcel Force.'

UNETHICAL. HOLE IN THE FLOOR STORE... This junk company doesn't sell anything. They sell stuff for THIRD PARTY sellers and then upcharge. Anticipate long shipping delays, unknown shipping issues, "We don't have a name for you to contact.", "It's not our fault. This is the fault of the third party seller.", "We don't have any phone number and they wouldn't take your call anyway if you don't have a contract with them... Yes, we have a contract with them but I'm not going to call them for you." You will just have to wait to see if the order goes through or if it's cancelled. We will refund your money within a week or so.
I've spent lots of time on the phone with customer service and the individuals I have worked with have been kind and professional, however, my experience overall has been terrible. I've place 4 orders with them and 4 of them had to ultimately be cancelled because while the site indicated the items were in stock, this was not the case, and moreover, a couple of them weren't expected to be available for over 2 months. My last order got completely screwed up - I'm still not sure what exactly happened, but when they finally figured it out (after countless contacts) their ability to expedite my order (now waiting 1.5 months) would not get to me in time. I selected zoro because I was able to get a good deal, but the headaches are not worth it. I ordered the same product from Amazon (at a cost to me of $8 more per item), and they are arriving in 2 days. I am cost conscious and love to get a good deal, but the amount of frustration I have felt that was resolved in a 2 minute order to Amazon is something I will remember. I would say stay away from zoro unless you are fine with your products potentially taking a along time to arrive. If you are buying 2+ months in advance of when you need your probably fine.
Received an email after making a purchase saying I was charged an extra 7$. The 8 dollars wast tax or shipping. They were just like, hey we'd like an extra few dollars just for nothing.

Despite delivery problems with a prior order I gave zoro a second chance. When I ordered they lied that the product was "in stock". After they cancelled the order the website STILL SHOWED THE ITEM IN STOCK. I have been a Grainger customer for decades and for a few bucks more will now forget Zoro and you should too.

I simply asked how much of a cut out an RV vent would need when installing. They had no answer and suggested I contact the manufacturer even though they don't even indicate who the manufacturer is.
I always use ZORO to supply pieces for some items that I sell online. Their prices are very good and shipping is always very fast which means a lot when you're running a small business!
Had a problem with a product when it arrived they went out of there way to replace it. I have never had a problem that was not resolved with them and will continue to buy from them.

The next morning I got an email saying that it was infact NOT AVAILABLE and I could expect a refund in 7-10 business days. Don't trust this site if you urgently need a part.

I purchase a product (Bi-Pass Closet Track Kit, 72"L x 2-5/8"W) at zoro site, I wanted and finally, they sent me the wrong part (2"w not 2-5/8"W) of course that does not help me, so I called they apologize and said they will send the right parts this time. I asked to verify its really 2-5/8"W, they did.
I waited 10 days, and then been notified by my bank that they refund me the order why?
I called zoro and apparently, they do not even have that part, and never sent it (10 days ago) and of course did not think to tell me so I wont waste my time.
Of course they refund me the wrong amount (did not refund shipping as their policy is not to define shipping, even if they are not shipping anything! Really?)
So basically its a company that charge you for parts they do not have and charge you for shipping even when they do not ship anything, or ship the worn part, and of course does not care your time, so not care enough to tell you about it.
After I scream about it, they said they will refund the whole thing.
