How long does it usually take to receive a tracking number? I placed my order on 11/12/15 and haven't gotten one since

Dont really matter mate, regardless, what they do if does not arrive, they will not refund, they offer to resend at your cost. Then you do Paypal dispute, they refuse to refund unless you close the case, if you close the case, Paypal will not help. In my circumstances Paypal decided in my favour and refunded, but dragged on, avoid this company in future, Bangood better

Good luck to you! I got my tracking number about 4 days later, only thing that tracking number never existed! I am in US, but never got package. Not sure if the wharehouses they state are reliable.
I would continue emailing them, let them know how unreliable they are, and let them know how you can let other buyers the site is not teliable. Thats how they answered me and was lucky enough to get refund

If it was sent China post - forget it, there will be no tracking number. Good luck if you ever receive your shipment, or a refund.

It makes no difference as the product you receive will be substandard in any case that's if you do receive it. If you complain about the product they will ask you to post it back to them at your own cost. Ask for a refund and they will deduct the free postage that they first gave you its a no win situation. And you may see on your post that a lady wants to help you with your order from China and will ask for your order number etc etc etc.
She is full of sh----t don't waste your time with her have a look at a lot of the posts on the site jabber she pops up regular. Waste of time.
It's a sad fact you would be better writing your order even if you do receive it off
This company should be band from the net.
Ps I had pay pal they did nothing as the other member says if you close the case they do nothing catch 22.

Bellow 20$ and you have to pay for tracking... above you normally get it included
As for when you get the number... only happens after they ship.
Time to shipping... anything from next day to 2-3 weeks
As other said pay with Paypal and stick to paypaal terms... no item in 40 days make a claim with paypal
Ignore gearbest offers... they will offer 50% of what you paid in the hope you will drop paypal claim
Never drop a Paypal claim till you have the item or your money back
Deal with them right and you will ether get what you pay for (eventually - it does take time) or you will get your money back
Don't deal right... and you have a 50%+ chance of getting rolled

Paid the extra for insurance and got the tracking no. Within 2/3 days. But it was irrelevant because the goods arrived faulty and Gearbest will do nothing about replacing. Steer clear of them.

I never got a tracking number and never got my goods. And no refund - initially. After months of email exchanges I threatened to go to the Chinese business ministry and highlight their behaviour. No idle threat as i had UK details for Chinese business office in the Chinese Embassy in London. I also searched out Chinese business ministry details (local and national) in China. And guess what - they sent me a full refund! I will never deal with a chinese online company again - CROOKS - AVOID.

Sometimes you don't get a tracking #and they just send it I never had a problem with GB over 29 orders and if you paid with PayPal then no worries just disputeD it and get yr money back, very simple, but I think great best is a ****

I never received my item, they kept fobbing me off for 60days, saying it had been posted. Good luck but don't be surprised if you never see your item. Help desk useless. Worst company I have so far found on and off Internet ever.

If you ordered from the U. S, warehouse usually 3 to 5 days you will receive an email that the items been shipped with the tracking #. It will be refereed to as Please note that your reference number is Example 94055874748494984 copy the # and open USPS tracking and add that # it should give you item location as status.

Hi,
Depend what you buy. Myself I buy from Europe warehouse and track was after 4 days. Buy over €200 and I have to send more info. From China or Russian warehouses I don't know

Well it all depends on which warehouse it was shipped from. They have warehouses in the US, China, and Europe. I received my items within a week from receiving the tracking information that came from NY to California in 4 days ground services.

Can we the consumer get together and push the scammer off edge of the cliff? They are day light rubbers and in this day and age we should not allow it to happen.
It is very frustrating see them con more and more people. We can stop them!

Well just to let you know gearbest is owned by someone in china and there is no owner infor for the web site, the tracking number or order number will not help you since they have no customer service in place, I know they have contact us avenue's but they don't work I did eventually get my order and tried to cancel before I got it because it was part of a halloween costume and received it end of last week but was not able to cancel due to no way to cancel on their site they also have a return option that I'm sure isn't worth a damn either, hopefully you did not spend much with this company we all need to put the word out to stay away from this company but I'm sure they would just start up another company with a new name and continue screwing the consumer, I will be investigating the next company very closely next time sorry about your issue.

I live in California, USA. My order from USA warehouse takes about 1-2 days to prepare and 1 week to ship to me. From China it takes 2-3 days to prepare and about 2-3 weeks to ship to me. Remember that there was a huge 11.11 event that has overwhelmed many of these sites. Best adise is to keep a track of your orders. Wait at least 6 weeks and THEN contact the company. Infact I just received something today that I had ordered on November 4th. Good luck with your orders.

Good luck! I never did receive my order, I contacted the BBB and the company did not respond to them either. I suggest if you continue to have problems, my bet is you will, file a complaint with the BBB - hopefully if they get enough ammunition they might be able to do something about this company?

NEVER - they sent my package via unregistered post without consulting me about it first (so no tracking number). I never received the package. So don't expect a tracking number, or your money back if it doesn't arrive. They are criminals

I'm not sure but it was probably a couple of weeks to get the tracking number. I wouldn't expect to get your shipment for at least 1 month or longer and hopefully it is complete as my order was missing the battery pack which took another month to receive.

I got my tracking no four days later of ordering and then I could track the shipment, I need for recheck on the location status of shipment. This site seems to be not reliable and we need to complain at consumer court.

It took me about 5 working days to receive my tracking number. But the tracking number is not helpful at all because you can wait for days before you get an update about the whereabouts of your order. The minimum time that I took to get an updated was 10 days, but most of the time it was more. The product itself took 45 days to reach me and even today the status still shows that the order is held with Customs authority. Once you have a problem with an order from gearbest, they will cut off ties with you, no refund, no replacement and no communication at all.

I have read all answers from gearbest victims, and I can only say, if you paid via PayPal then immediately open a case, if you paid using your credit card report to them and cc'd gearbest customer service.
Other than that, keep writing to them EVERY DAY!
I am still waiting for my refund. Mind you I bought these items and paid for them on 21/10/15. And still waiting for my refund.

Usually 3 or 4 days, sometimes longer if the processing needs more time. My own experience is that it does not exceed 1 week.

Cancel your order, raise a dispute and report for fraud, buy somewhere else. I bought using anz debit card. Asked them for a refund but they never gave me a refund. Filed a fraud report with anz and got my money back within hours(literally hours). I suggest you report as soon as possible.

The few times I ordered from them I never got a tracking number that worked, hopefully your order will arrive and work, if you have a problem with it you are screwed. They will give you the runaround then stop communicating with you

Make sure you have a tracking number on your order (it`s not automatic unless it is a high enough value), if you dont, try and get one added (about$2). You need to be patient with CS. Their messaging service is poor, 24hrsplus.

Ordering into Australia, I found a link to use this site http://eretaillogistics.com.au/tracking.php to track the CA tracking number (It worked with mine, but considering it shows arrival in Australia and Customs Clearance 3 days ago, it is frustrating that nothing is showing after this date)

A: I previously worked for postal service. If the parcel is like letter size, it's a matter of 1-2 weeks. Else, if it's like 2"x4-5" or bigger, it can take long. It has to travel down to Shangai pier in a container. Put on a boat and sail... Then when boat arrive it has to unload, register etc. Then a broker need to pick the parcels, go through customs (some time it has to go twice when it enter the country), At the custom it could lay there 1-5 weeks, depend how busy they are and depend of the time of the year also... This said, expect to wait at least 4-6 weeks, but from my experience it's at my door step in 6-8 weeks.

It took about 3-6 days to get mine. Some products have extremely long handling times while others have quick handling times. Shipping took about 7 day's to get from china to the US.

I would say it depends on which shipping method you chose, as well as the stock status.
If it was in stock and was marked with 'ships in xx business days', then obvioulsy you would get the shipped notice after that.
As far as tracking the package, if you chose Free Shipping (flat rate), then only god knows when you will get your package. Free shipping flat rate basically means they will find a cheapest way possible to ship your package.
I would recommend asking them for a shipping status first, depending on the situation, cancel it, and reorder with standard shipping with tracking number, AND insuarance. That is to be said if the product you are trying to order is In Stock.
Insuarance is a must, when you order from a website, mainly because it is your biggest friend in cases where you ever have to fight them for a defects, non-received products, etc.
As you probably read in other reviews that Gearbest will only offer you half of the money paid if anything happened to your item.
By the way, this answer applies not only to the gearbest, but rather any other China based stores.
Bottom line, if Aliexpress and Ebay sells what you want to buy, then buy it from Aliexpress and Ebay. These are controlled by a corporate, and will try to do their best to keep you satisfied.
Remember: ALWAYS PAY WITH PAYPAL, for it is your greatest friend when you go through lots and lots of hassle with those sellers.
