Yes. It is true. I had to end up getting a new credit card because it charged me around $35.00 per month. I made one resume over a year ago. I never could get them to stop charging. The resume looked great but it was not worth the $300- $400 overall that I ended up paying for it.

I'm with everyone else on this and would go so far as to say they should be shut down!

You're better off using a typewriter because your resume will be outputted with a completely different format than the preview. When I downloaded mine, it turned out with an ugly font and all bolded headings were no longer bold. Run away!

No it's not. You will not be able to print, download, email without joining the site. That's where they get you. And, the charges are enormously high. Yes, they have some "high praises" from several users, but really this site offers nothing you can't find for free on the web. My advice, drop this site before attaching your credit card... PLEASE!

As everyone has responded, stay away.
I had to change my credit card.

Make sure you call to cancel and record the convo. Let them know you are doing so. If charges persist contact the BBB for resolution.

Absolutely DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD NUMBER! They will charge you and charge you not allow you to cancel until they bleed you or you cancel your card.

I for one thought I had followed the process correctly. That decision cost me about $300. I would go elsewhere for resume help.

Run away! It is a monthly subscription, read carefully as they will charge a fee each month to your credit card. The thing that makes this company so dishonest, is that they SAY it is easy to cancel your subscription, but it is not. I saw that it was a monthly subscription service right away, but assumed it would be easy to cancel (as outlined on their website and other places). I tried for over ONE MONTH to do so, using all the channels that "Anna B." suggested (constant phone calls, emails, reassuring conversations involving "ticket numbers etc". It did not work, they kept charging. I ended up cancelling my credit card. They really are as terrible as these reviews suggest. Also, the resume SUCKS!

My teenage son used this site. After 1month of charges, he canceled his account. He was charged again. When we called, we were told that canceling your account does not cancel your subscription. I imagine it's there way to keep milking you for money. MAKE sure you cancel the subscription not just your account.

Be very careful with the site. They took about $400 from me for one resume.

Stay away from these people. After I paid what I thought was the cost of doing business, there was an added fee to print out my resume that I had designed. Or to save it. Or do anything with it. It was a few dollars, but that sent up red flags and the customer service person was rude and insulting when I inquired.

Do NOT use this website. They lead you into thinking it's free, make it nearly impossible to cancel within the trial period and then charge you $40 and refuse to refund you. And then they hang up on you if you ask to speak someone above them.

If I remember correctly, I did pay a fee at the end. But it was only a couple of dollars. I printed my resume, saved it and then immediately cancelled. I watched my credit card for the next few days, but didn't have any problems with it. Worked great for me... worth $2 that I spent.

Bad site as it has hidden agenda.

Run away, Steve. Look at the reviews, then look how often Anna B. Is trying to put out fires. They are not above board, avoid at all costs.

That's where many people get caught on this site with the monthly charges, they don't cancel immediately. If you acknowledge in their small print that after the nominal charge for your resume you will be billed monthly and cancel immediately, you shouldn't have a problem with the site. If you don't... yeah your going to rack up the charges.
