Losing my pension was one of the darkest moments in my life. This scam pulled me in with flashy promises and fake testimonials. Months later, when I realized what happened, I felt completely helpless. Thankfully, the police directed me to a recovery platform — the one that starts with "U" and ends in ". Io." They helped me get back what was mine. If there's one thing I've learned, it's to never trust too quickly and always keep proof of everything.

I had 2 card accounts and one day they closed both my accounts without notifying me or requesting permission. They money on each card was supposed to be mailed to me I'm a check that I never received. It's been 2 months and the call center reps hang up me everytime I call. Fuvk them. Don't use greendot it's a scam

What a big $#*!ing scam! They steal your money. Would not send a check in the proper name. So this check is worthless no one will cash it. And my rating would be negative 100 stars

After TurboTax entered the wrong bank information, Green Dot was tasked with depositing the refund in my account. When the refund did not appear in my account I contacted the IRS and was told to contact Green Dot. BTW this is not easy unless you want to open an account. Green Dot informed me my refund had been deposited in a Chase account and I was given a trace number. Chase was very helpful in trying to track it down. This was no surprise since I have never had an account with Chase. After months of going back and forth with the same response from Green Dot it dawned on me that my bank, Charles Schwab, also begins with CH. I contacted Schwab and sure enough my refund was in my IRA. Green Dot did not even know the bank where the funds were deposited.

The card says ATM use but when I call they representative said in store use only, that is false information and very nasty and rude!

POS Bank. My mom whos 68 years used Quickbooks Money, which is a Green Dot subsidiary. Their POS had faulty fraud detection on her twice and held $6,000 of her money for 75 days, and they wanted to hold it longer. Don't trust these services or Quickbooks banking, a bunch of frauds. We will be filing a complaint with the CFPB. No one knows what they are doing, and they don't have real bankers, just Virtual Assistants from the Philippines.

They have closed 2 separate accounts and have "lost" my ******* dollars tax refund but lied about returning it to the IRS. And I can't access 1500 dollars in my separate account BC they closed the account and never offered me any explanation. I reported it to the federal reserve BC they are already under sanctions for money laundering.

On May 2 2024 I purchased a card and uploaded money to this card. On May 7,2024, they charged me for $9.99 for a monthly fee? Hmm, I never used this card. They just stole my money. This is a scam

Do not buy Green Dot products when something goes wrong there is no customer service at all my card would not activate and it's been 4 days and still no resolution one lie after another I will never use Green Dot ever again and I recommend you don't either

I had money taken from my green dot account of the amount $921.00 and did a dispute and they turn around and tell me there is no error and that i owe the money back that they gave me a privisional credit for while they investigated. I was in californina at the time at a coffee shop and i looked at my acct and someone took money out 500 miles away from me. It said it was at a walgreens atm machine. I called right away got a new card and did dispute. They finalized my dispute and said it was me that used the money. They suck i want my money back that they stold from me..

I purchased the card yesterday and they automatically took 7.95 off my card for a monthly charge that was almost half of what I put on the card I'm so pissed and dissatisfied with this prepaid card

People if you are reading this now. DO NOT get this card ever. It is the far worse card I ever had. I got my IRS refund and they blocked my card several times. Their wait time to talk to someone is at least an hr. Seriously do not get this card. Their fees $7 a month.

The worst customer service ever. You cant understand a word they say. Plus this is not an american company. Please use another service that is american made backed by american money.

If you get one of these cards on the last day of the month they steal 7.99 from you as a monthly fee for that 1 day. Criminal

How do they even sell these anymore. GENUINELY. I put 65 dollars on a green dot debit card right? I did all the instructions- & STILL! Cant get my money back. I tried putting in the card digets at least…19 times & it still said "congrats! You are one step closer ahead to having a green dot card" & i pressed activate & it immediately said the exact same thing over & over. Fed up! I want my money back!

Greendot u are a piss of $#*! I bought a gift card at rite aid and I try to activate it and it already under some girl name Nicole and funny $#*! is that isn't my name so I filed a fraud claim and u said I give them the pin # when I couldnt even register the card now I am out of 160 dollars.

I had Deposit $298 Dollars into this account the card I had p the car I purchased the card I had purchased from Dollar tree was for a quick money transfer for my car insurance I doubled these guys and they made it difficult for me to pay my insurance so the money got stuc to g back I have a problem because the car they gave me was out of out of order expired and they were supposed to send me a card the car did sent me was on my old address which I never received a call back again and ask again phone calls calling maybe 10 20 times and getting the front desk person talking to me sending me to some manager who would be able to help me no one being kept on hold again for 1Hour these people are liers and thief's I sent my government liceo back and front to identify me as owner of the account and my phone number 😔😔😔😔😔😔 I'll never do Business with these people Liers

Do you not use green dot they will hold your money and transfer you to 100 non English speaking ppl

Around the 1st of the year, my card was hacked. They put a hold on my card. Got new card TWO WEEKS LATER. Card would not activate. They rush delivered another (another few days waiting). Tried for 2 1/2 hours to activate. Recordings kept telling me that security code was invalid (after being cut off the 1st 5 times). Website is a joke in itself. Looking like I'll never see my money again. (Wasn't much- was $71.27 on Jan. 1st. Now balance is $56- AND I NEVER SPENT A PENNY!) THEY were able to access MY money for monthly fee AND "reactivation fee"- WHICH IT NEVER WAS REACTIVATED! 10+ hours just this month spent on the phone, websites, and getting their stinking BS runaround, all for nothing. GOOD GODDAMNED THING I DIDN'T HAVE MY PAYCHECK IN THERE! I've had it with this bogus company. DONE! GIMME MY MONEY!

Today, is Wednesday, January 24,2024. I ordered a pair of sneakers on Sunday, January 13th and cancelled it on Monday, January 14th. Amazon released the monies on that same day, the 14th, but now, 11days later, i have still not received the credit refund to my green dot account. I have called multiple times and they conveniently DO NOT show a record of my complaint. I called this morning and the representative a green dot, referred me back to AMAZON. Amazon, sent me an email, confirming that they released the funds back to Green dot on January 14th. WTF. I want my money back and they are not willing to give me my funds. DO NOT BUY THIS CARD.
