I have to admit, I ordered from Vinesse Wines after receiving an advertisement in the mail and I read the reviews AFTER I ordered. I was completely freaked out after all the negative reviews. Turns out, I got EXACTLY what I ordered, on time, and clean! The only thing I agree with is the lack of notification before shipment. However, I got my first shipment in a timely manner and I was able to cancel so easily! Other posts freaked me out about the inability to cancel but I emailed the support email and received confirmation within 20 minutes.
This is extremely disappointing! Despite trying to cancel the order immediately after realizing the error, they refused to provide a refund, even though the order has not even been shipped or processed yet. This is not what I expect from a company that claims to offer exceptional customer service. It's frustrating to think that I'm now stuck with an order that I don't want, and I have no way to get my money back. It's a shame that they can't be more understanding and accommodating of their customers' needs.

I paid $ 39.95 for the eight-bottle intro offer, then cancelled membership. So no chance for them to keep billing me. At $ 5 a bottle, excellent value. Trying the first, Miguel Flores Malbec, right now, and it's fine tho not worth the $ 21+ list price. Always remember the four rules of life: Never play cards with a man named Doc. Never eat at a place called Mom's. Never get involved with someone with more problems than you. AND: never give random sites your credit card. You're welcome!
Only received 6 bottles when I was supposed to receive 6. Company refused to provide the additional 2 bottles that my order indicated. No refunds or satisifaction guarantee here, thats for sure. No variety provided either, expected 6 different wines but only received 3 different. Would not recommend. Stay away. Try one of the many other options
Vinesse does not send a notification about a wine box coming your way. They charge $138 for 6 bottles, 4 of them you can find them for $13 (brand Layer Cake). I just want my money back but they just provide store credit and they claim I will lose $50 due to transport costs. They are just scammers disguised as a business. I don't know how they are still operating, the owners should be behind bars, it is an illegal operation.
I rarely give a bad review but these folks are a total money making scam. I wish I had read some reviews before I signed up. First I had a coupon code they wouldn't honor then they claim they sent out the initial package which I didn't receive then they sent a package on a day I wasn't home and it was delivered anyway and they charged me $165 for six bottles! Their customer service person is haughty and unprofessional. There is no middle ground here. Stay away!

You get 3 of two kind of wines !! Not diverse

This company charged my credit card unauthorized and when trying to get a cancellation or refund argued with me, and made it very difficult. They do not send out timely emails warning you of a shipment before on arrives and once your card is charged they only want to offer store credit as a refund. I had to complain to a manager for 17 to get anyone to attempt to process a refund. A customer asking for a refund is still a customer
Tip for consumers:
They do not process refunds/ only offered me store credit for an unauthorized charge.

I sent Vinesse a check to accept their offer of a case for $39.99. Not only did they never send any of their low grade wine, but they used the information on the check, i.e., the routing and account numbers, to electronically debit me through my PayPal account. Vinesse customer service claims to have no information about the transactions, and it does not appear on my PayPal statement. This is a fraudulent operator without any ethics.
Tip for consumers:
Maybe they don't like me because I have returned their postage paid mail telling them that their wine is lousy so stop inviting me.

So. I got my first introductory box at 29.95. The next day I get another box. It is not labeled in any way.
Lo and behold.its 4 bottles from Vinesse, charging my cc 129.99!
Of course I contacted. Customer service advised I put in two orders.and they would only give me in-store credit AFTER I paid to return the 4 bottles.
I said that doesn't even make sense. Why would I sign up for a 29.95 box of 12 wines and then order the same day for 4 at 129.95.
They are not only a scam company but their wives are cheap. If you Google. You will see that they are 16.00 bottles of wine and discontinued on top of that!
Received an email from the company after I joined for my first shipment, in which all 6 wines were absolutely horrible. They were cheap tasting. Anyway, back to this email I received, I was simply scrolling though reading it and as I swiped it said order sent. Simply by touching a small text box. I immediately emailed to cancel the order. Customer service took 4 days to get back to me to tell me I could refuse the order for a fee, shipping fee, and get store credit. For something I never even wanted. Absolutely horrible wine. Horrible customer service. Click bait company.

I ordered a special wine set for Christmas last year. I used my credit card and there was no continue to charge at all. This month I found out they shipped the wine box and charged $163.98 which I never ordered. I contacted this scam company worker and he said I gave an authorized them when I ordered the first time which is not truth. Never ever referral to my friends.
Tip for consumers:
Do not order wine through this company even one time special gift. It is scam.

Canceled their wines, which are not very good. Problem is they will continue to send you wines and charge your card forcing you to make the trip and pay return shipping with Fedex. They also, don't notify you before they ship so no chance to refuse. They will enroll you without asking into what they call the "Wine Fund" an account which they charge $40 a month and claim it helps support low price wines, which they are not. You don't get this back by the way when you cancel. CR is rude.

Stay away, they have multiple complaints with the BBB

I received my shipment of 6 bottles of wine on Saturday...based on how that wine was packaged and shipped, I will NOT be joining another one of their clubs. The wine came in a 12-bottle sized box, not a 6-bottle box. It did not have extra packing at the top to keep the bottles snug in the box. They were not packed in the normal wine bottle "crates" to keep them safe and from banging against each other. All they had was a bit of bubble wrap loosely, not tightly secured, around them. By the time the box reached me, the bubble wrap was no longer around the bottles and they were clanging and bouncing against each other with nothing keeping them separated. In addition to that, in the middle of summer, Texas, 100+ degree days, summer…there was no ice/dry ice to help keep them cool. The bottles of wine were not just warm…they were literally hot. Now I wonder…how good can those wines be now after being put through that?
Terrible service, over-priced wines. No notification of their shipments. There are way better clubs out there, stay away from them.
Tip for consumers:
Other wine clubs are much more customer oriented.

Received wine I didn't order at an extravagant price.
Beware. Was assessed a 30 dollar annual fee - which was never disclosed during sign-up, in the welcome email, or anywhere on their website (including their FAQ and policy section which has a subsection about Memberships but conveniently omits any information/disclosure of an annual fee). When I contacted support and asked them to cancel my account and refund this fee (that was never disclosed), they said they mailed this information via a letter and that the fee could be applied to any purchase as a voucher and was nonrefundable. I stated that they still need to disclose this information more clearly, and much earlier in the process - like, when you sign up and in the welcome email and on the website. They reiterated that they did disclose it - via a letter they mailed (which probably looked like spam and I never saw or opened) "so that I'd have a hard copy". It's obviously deliberately poor business practice to not let a customer know there's an annual fee when they sign up, and to only provide that information via snail mail, when it's an online wine club (in 2022). This was a deliberate attempt to conceal an annual fee. I would not recommend this club and it makes me even more uneasy that they continue to possess my credit card information and there exists no way for me to remove it.
Ordered wines from these people in May. The shipment was late. Customer service told me the shipper returned it due to damage. Supposedly another was sent but hasn't appeared yet and the shipper doesn't recognize the tracking number they sent me. They did send an email asking for a review of the wines. Sounds like corporate confusion.
I fell into the same trap where my shipments kept getting more expensive. Some of the wines were good. I was questioning the fact that the bottles were coming with the same foil top and a blank cork. (Are they just bottling their own knockoffs?) I called once to find out about a shipment and the guy was so rude to me I wrote to the company. After my last $200+ shipment of 9 bottles I'd had enough. Took me THREE phone calls to finally actually get the cancellation email. I cannot believe American Airlines endorses this company for points. Buyer Beware.

I ordered a six-bottle sampler of reds. Tried the first two. Neither was any good. I won't make them take back the rest and I sure won't share it with my friends! They would think I made it myself.

The $40 teaser purchase was a decent buy though most of the wines i have never heard of.
I signed, put a hold on all shipments and went on vacation.
Came back, two boxes on my porch, $333 in wine i didn't order, wine that either i can't fine anywhere or i can buy locally for 25% less.
So i contacted "customer service", some guy named Kyle. Nice enough. I wanted to send the wine back. He said policy is no refunds for returns but he can give a 20% discount if i decide to keep them.

But here's the catch: you have to pay $36 for shipping 6 bottles, $42 for 9 bottles. So it's not really free.
But i didn't order them, i put my account on hold. They say there is no record of that. Hum. Guess i should have made a screen shot.
One box had 6 bottles, they charged me $140. All of those wines i can get locally for $100.
The other box had 9 bottles, they charged my $194. Most of the wines i have never heard of. About half i found locally for $12 a bottle, not $20. The others I can't find, but most wines i've never heard of, i've never heard of for a reason...
I joined this wine club at the beginning of December. It took them more than 3 weeks to ship the wine which was terrible. Then, they sent another shipment after I emailed them to cancel my membership and said that I did not contact them in time. I tried chatting with them online but NO ONE answered their chat line even though it was during their business hours. They purposely waiting until the next day to get back to me and then had shipped this terrible wine. HORRIBLE customer service! Do not do business with them. They are not reputable. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company, contacting the better business bureau and the attorney general of my state.

Terrible wines. Not drinking them. Will throw away.
Misleading advertisements/descriptions are intentional IMO. Be careful when ordering from this company. When they use a description of 1 bottle that could be any size (750ml, 375ml, 187? Ml) per Andrew the service representative.
Tip for consumers:
Be aware that this site sells 1/2 bottles (375ml) listed as standard bottles

When you start, its hard to stop! I had to cancel my credit card to get them to stop shipping. And if they leave it on your porch, I have pre-signed with delivery companies, you can't return without 15% restock fee. What a bunch of pooh! I'm posting on Facebook and Twitter not to do business with them.
Inactivated my account, which didn't "process" on their end. Only way I found out was PayPal notification immediately contacting them and told them I'm out of the country and won't be able to receive it. Per "policy (not reality)... It takes 5 days to cancel an order. Guess Fedex will send it back and I'll file a dispute with PayPal "Thanks for contacting... Have a nice day!" LOL.
PS the first order, nothing special, not great way too expensive for quality and overall experience, schlepping down to pick it up. Nothing better than grocery store products for 2x the price.
Tip for consumers:
Read the fine print. Don't expect any processing support.
Horrible, no variety at all. Received 12 bottles of red wine. 4 kinds were doubled up, meaning I only received 6 different kinds of red wine. The wines were so "new" or unpopular, The wine app Vivino did not even recognize. This gets worse. I forgot to cancel the cheap $39 package so this was my 2nd shipment (by mistake) and it was $260. I called but they said No returns once it's been shipped.
I was a "rollover" member, had been with Tourning & Tasting for about 20 years, loved their magazine and wine selections and the website was very useful. So when the "merger" took effect, I waited to see how things went. Well, I was underwhelmed with Vinesse... wines were ok, most I'd never heard of but gave them a try. But over the past two years, the quarterly deliveries became hit and miss, the wines were just ok, and I missed the old Touring & Tasting classiness. I call this morning to cancel my membership. Even finding a phone number for the company was hard, not shown on website, but it is *******527 should you need it.
