I signed up for Hire My Mom after reading the reviews on this site. I was disappointed to discover a very limited amount of job listings. If the good reviews pique your curiosity, I would suggest going with the lowest package which includes a 3-day free trial (hopefully, you do not get charged, please read the fine print). You can check out the listings for yourself before you purchase the subscription. On a couple of positive notes, canceling my subscription was very easy. Most subscription sites make it very difficult to cancel your subscription; this site was simple and straightforward. Also, I had a great experience with customer service; they offered a full refund and the owner seemed genuinely interested in helping job seekers find jobs in their particular niche. It just was not a good fit for me.
Hi Ko-Rely,
We have refunded your purchase. In response to your comment that we don't have many jobs, I think that you may be comparing HireMyMom to some of the mega job sites like Indeed and in comparison we do have fewer jobs but we also have fewer job seekers. We are told by both job seekers and employers that they prefer the smaller size because they typically get 10-30 applicants per job on our site instead of 1,000 or more on the larger job sites. That also means less competition for qualified job seekers applying for these jobs on HireMyMom.
We are a niche job site geared towards moms and small businesses so we do not attract large corporations or huge numbers of job seekers. If you have read our reviews on our website, you'll see many candidates have found incredible opportunities. However, we realize we are not a one-size-fits-all job site and honor your request for cancellation and to find a job site that better fits your needs.
We wish you much success in your search. Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
