Answer:

That is another problem with Backcountry. Even when you buy enough to have the "free shipping", you're penalized for returns and exchanges. Just a bad corporate model all the way around. Real outfitters like REI, Moosejaw and Sierra Trading Post are all better options.

I ordered something and had it literally arrive on 2 days. I had a positive experience, overall.

Answer:

I've had no problems with the authenticity, but if you have to return it for any reason, including sizing being wrong you will have to foot the return shipping cost. They don't make this clear when ordering.

Because they are not a reputable company at all. Stay away from them.
