I returned an item, unopened, and they refunded me half the money. They tell me that is in the fine print. They promised to exchange a $600 defective lamp but never did. I was told today it's too late.

Bought a murphy bed online with free 14 day delivery. Paid for it which they promptly charged my card, when the confirmation email came it showed the delivery date at 5 months. I contacted there CS. And was told yes it would be 5 months to which I told her I would like to cancel, She told me I would have to wait until it was delivered then send it back for a refund. I had to get my credit card company to revese the charge because of fraud which they did.They are selling items they don't have, whic is a precurser to usally going bankrupt. BEWARE!

I paid over $1000.00 for furniture on June 23. It was to be delivered in 3-4 days. Called on July 1 to ask where it was. They put in another order number for it. They said if I did not receive it by July 5, to call and I could cancel. Called July 5 because the FedEx tracking says shipping label created but nothing has shipped. I was told that they would cancel the order but would not be able to send me an email indicating that the order is cancelled. What? The foreign "customer service" rep was rude. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said her supervisor said she was in a long call and couldn't do anything more for me. The rep spoke over me and kept getting louder telling me that I accepted what she told me about the cancellation. This was a horrible experience. I see their rating of 1.2 stars and so get it. BUYER BEWARE! I fear I will never see the $1000.00.

Buyer beware! Worst customer service EVER! I have been dealing with them for 10 weeks with no results. I have asked numerous times for a supervisor but they were "never available". Finally spoke to two different supervisors who personally promised to see me through the returns and would escalate my return with the large item return department. Never heard back from either. I finally received an email stating they were working on getting the cheapest delivery fee arranged. Waited days and responded to their email asking for the status….No response. A few days later I received an email stating their return label system was down and I would hear from them once it was back up. Waited a few more days and sent another email requesting them to give me return reference numbers for my 3 returns and I would arrange shipping….still nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves treating customers this way. Beyond frustrating!

Customer service representative hung up the phone on me because I refused to repeat myself a third time. When I called back to explain to another representative that the 20% coupon off entire order was visible prior to paying but was removed prior to charging my card, the representatives lied and stated sale items can't get a coupon sale also (proof of lie attached). I told them I duplicated my efforts and can screenshot it taking off both discounts and the rep ignored me and kept lying. I asked for a supervisor and she came back and said a supervisor won't speak to me because prices change at random and they can't control that. The prices never changed in an hour. The 20% coupon simply wasn't applied. The resolution was for me to charge the entire order again & hope the 1st order from an hour ago doesn't ship from the warehouse & gets canceled. The attachments show that a sale AND coupon can be together. All I wanted was a credit for the difference of est. $59. I definitely wasn't charging over $1000 twice without a guarantee of a cancelation.
On June 24th, 2024 a Jeremy Cass Full-Automatic Washing Machine 25 lbs, Portable Compact Laundry Washer with Drain Pump was finally delivered. However, the website never advertised this item as used or refurbished. I was charged over 371.00 for such an item with scratches, scrapes, and discolorations in multiple areas. The extended protection will not reimburse you but credit your money so you can spend it on the company purchasing a replacement or something matching the former price of purchase. Do not buy from this company unless you go in person to purchase. In person, you can choose and know what you are buying. You will not buy what appears used, of course.
Customer service was very unhelpful and refused to refund even though they were the company who took the funds and not the third party. I've been waiting for the third party to connect me since 6.26.24. They continue to tell me 1 to 2 business days and we are 4 days from 6.26. I should have received an email, text, or call. Nothing. The worst company and the worst CS services. I'm told to wait 1- 2 business days again because the complaint submitted on 6.26.24 was not submitted or escalated until yesterday 6.29.24. If I could give a zero I would, the plastic rings to adjust the balloon curtains fall apart at the touch and the lace snags before I got it out of the plastic wrapping. I tried to get a replacement but I failed to ask within the 30 day policy. I was moving. Know this new company will not grant any exceptions to the 30 day policy even if the product they sell is a piece of crap. Sign me as very unsatisfied person who will never ever shop here again. I have lost $75 dollars on this really subpar product. Lesson learned.

This company has the worst customer service ever! We tried to cancel our rug order a few hours after we ordered it, but they can't seem to cancel orders, we had this happen once before, and then charged us shipping back the rug. They also don't update their data. They called me Nadia, I'm not Nadia. And they hadn't updated my address, tried to blame it on PayPal. PayPal has my right address. I will never even order a pencil from this site;
First of all, I'd like to say I will never purchase anything from Bed Bath & Beyond online anymore. I purchased two end tables C shaped end tables that did not work in my room. They were too small. So I went through the process in returning. It was difficult to communicate with Bed Bath & Beyond because they refused to handle it since it wasn't one of their products but belong to somebody else that they shipped through Bed Bath & Beyond. I had 1 week to return and the seller would not cover my shipping cost nor would they send a shipping label. I had to pay for my own shipping to return them, $32 worth they required a 25% restocking fee. I paid $136 for the two tables. They gave me a refund of $92 minus the $32 that I paid for shipping Doesn't leave me much left. The tables I returned were in their boxes, not opened sealed properly as they were shipped to me. I shipped them back. I will only deal with Amazon or someplace else where I can get free shipping and free returns. I will never deal with Bed Bath & Beyond and I would never recommend anybody purchasing anything from them.

Have had so many problems getting 4 of these chairs got 3 from amazon ca one perfect the other 2 severely cracked legs took so much convincing to get 3rd party seller to send me replacement legs. Didn't want to pack up whole chair send it back they wouldn't pick it up. Nobody help me during business hours. Son fixed 2 chairs that were not safe. Price way better and shipping free was half the time. I have 4 now may want 2 more buying one at a time. Was surprised and delighted to see chair in perfect shape box intact not beatup with slits in it. Came right to my door only wish delivery time and date more transparent got a day early but delivery person didn't knock and wait for a response. Box left outside my apt door. I don't think that's a good idea.

I order a bedding set on Feb 13,2024. After almost 10 days, I received a small box with only a set of two pillow cases.
I called customer service and after they gave the run around, they finally agreed to send me a replacement. I asked the agent to make sure that the warehouse sends the ENTIRE set. He kept saying: "I got you."
Today, I got the second delivery and guess what? A small package with a set of two pillow cases.
I called the company's corporate office in an attempt to file a complaint. I was told that if I want to complain about the company's customer service, I need to call customer service.
I used to be a loyal customer of Bed, Bath and Beyond for years.
NEVER AGAIN.

I made a mistake in the "ship to" address, so I called as soon as I realized the mistake, but before the items were delivered. I ordered from multiple vendors, assuming Bed Bath & Beyond would help me correct the mistake, as Amazon and Chewy.com do. Big mistake. I was told repeatedly that they could do nothing since it was part of "the marketplace." The individual vendors equally said they could do nothing, as did UPS. So I paid and received zilch. This was 6 months ago. No deal is worth the aggravation.
I am beyond frustrated right now. I've been trying to delete my credit card on file as I do not want to make purchases anymore, and it is undoable. The instructions on how to do it won't work. Unchecking the box temporarily hides the information, but checking it brings it back. The agent I called confirmed this. The only way delete the old info is by making a purchase and adding in another card.
I've tried to delete my account information under
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), but Bed, Bath, and Beyond refuses to do so for 4 years, saying I made a purchase, so they need the information for that long before they can delete my account.
I've never had a company deny my request. The internal database would have this information. The public account should be able to be deleted. This is beyond frustrating as I don't want someone to hack into my account either while I am not using it.
Order foam mattress and it rotted in a few weeks. I attempted to call several times with no reply. Last call I was told it would be a 60 hour wait. Technically 2 days later I'm still on hold.

Since overstock is now bed bath and beyond I'm writing a bad review for them. I bought a mirror last year that I set aside for a renovation project, I finally got around to that project and the mirror was completely shattered, I contacted bed bath to see if they could honor the item, unfortunately at no help even though I didn't break the mirror it came out of packaging completely broken they could not honor anything. It was my fault for not checking the packaging right away their fault for sending a broken item. $126 down the drain

I waited 2 weeks not 2 days like promised. Then I called & they said they didn't have my $400 vanity in stock. They NEVER emailed me or informed me. They took my $, lied about "shipped". I FINALLY talked 2 customer service & she said "we don't have any vanities, but you can wait for something to come in?". I said "You took my money, lied about shipping (I thought it was odd when I tried tracking & it only said "out for delivery but running late", you NEVER even had my vanity in the 1st place & you think I want to wait 3 months until you guys buy one from Amazon. Dirty laundry is their business. Wrote a review before about getting no where on a back order. Well the last update said to be shipped by October 1,2022. Items still not delivered to me. Ordered July 29,2022. Avoid ordering from a company whose higher ups don't care about customer satisfaction. Just their checks and bonuses.

I am still waiting on 7 wash clothes and 3 hand towels ordered on July 29,2022. At first they emailed merchandise to be delivered by August 9th. I did receive the 2 twin bed sets, paper plates and 1 of a set of 4 other wash cloths. Finally was emailed that the other 3 of the one set of wash cloths were out of stock. This left the 7 wash clothes and 3 hand towels. Saying now shipment should be out on these by September 17,2022. When I have texted or talked to them they are rude and repeat that I will have after they get to them. Asked for similar items at same cost. You would have thought I was asking the impossible. I also asked why did they not have the ability to have a running total on stock like other companies. I guess they don't need my business. I guess their higher ups only care about their checks and bonuses. NO WONDER the business is in trouble. The only store near me was about 25 miles from me closed. Sad all around.

I ordered a pair of these lampshades. They arrived in separate boxes. Both had the fabric coming away from the frames. One had the spider (it attaches to the harp on the lamp) and the majority of the shade all crushed down with a bunch of those air filled bags sitting on it. They are very poorly made. I am not sending them back as I know it will take forever to receive a refund. I'll take it as a loss and go to Lowes.

Typically I have had great shopping experiences at Bed Bath And Beyond, however my experience using their online store was awful. Terrible customer service and they sent me the wrong item and refused to allow a return/ exchange. Very unpleasant experience.
I have shopped at BB &B for years. But, unfortunately, their recent move to jump on the band wagon of punishing anything and anyone with conservative views is beyond my comprehension. When will the censorship and mistreatment of Christian conservative Americans stop.? Because they have become intolerant of our politics, I can no longer support this business. At some point we must fight back. This is my line in the sand. Good bye, Bed Bath & Beyond.
I returned a faulty item. They acknowledge they have received it. And that's where any useful information stops. It is well past the time I should have received my refund. When I try to call them I am subjected to hours on hold, only to by hung up on when they finally answer. On-line chat offers no option to actually "chat" with anyone and there are no options for my problem. Repeated emails only get me a tired canned response that is neither helpful or informative. Then they make the issue "solved". I have never had this kind of problem at a store, but given this current nightmare I will question every shopping there again and certainly NEVER on line again.
Just purchased 4 indoor/outdoor rugs. Price was very good. Shipping was fast. Unfortunately, Two of the rugs had a misplaced weave that had to be cut out, thereby loosening the weave in that line. One rug had dirt damage from the open protective plastic covering. It's not severe enough to go to the trouble to ship back to the manufacturer, but irritating enough to complain about. I've bought a lot of household items from Bed, Bath and Beyond and this is the first time I've had a complaint.
