Hello folks last week cabela's canada opened a new store in ottawa. although smaller than most of the us stores i have been in, it's still very nice; quality products. however, i picked up a catalogue while there. on page 98 of the catalogue, it has game cameras. the new cablela's outfitter model description says the unit can be powered by 8 aa batteries, or an external 6-volt battery. aa batteries are 1.5 volts each; therefore, i believe it should read 12 volt battery, not 6 volts. very few items use 6 volt anymore; perhaps this is a typo???????
