on 6/25/15Sitter city.com could help you. I have honestly had nothing but problems with care.com. They make up rules as they decide not how things are written and do not follow their own privacy policy. They feed on single moms and dads. As well as children providing for aging parents You can place an add on Craigslist as well, for free and your prospective employee provides their own background check as it can be a most recent one and obtained by themselves at 5 to 10 dollars
Care.com does not care about the pulic whatsoever. It is comical that a company that uses the word Care in its name would have the wost reputation for not caring about anything. Kristen the customer service agent that makes the same remarks about the same issues over and over is a prime example of how they don't care at all. There are well over 1000 reviews and complaints on several boards that all say they were scammed out of money by care.com... you would think that rather Kristern saying I'm sorry you missed the auto renew billing she we be pro active in fixing the fine print hidden in small grey font at the bottom of the billing page and send out an e repiept to customers when billed. But that won't happen because care.com makes 90% of its money by ripping off millions of hard working low to middle income familes off with no regard or remorse. Care.com is the most hated. Com platform to date in American History. 20 20 is going to do a special about how many families have been ripped off. Babysitters are also passing background checks with felony records and parents accounts are being terminated for reporting negligent babysitters. Care.com is an unscrupulous criminal company.
Care.com will cancel your member ship if you downgrade your service with them. We got a few people they were ALL a nightmare, one even got my 89 year old dad to pay her auto insurance, so she would not go to jail. They LIE, omg one crazy gal made up a story her children where kidnapped and there were amber alters ect to justify why she did not show up for 2 days. There were no amber alerts, not on news, totally made up BS. One woman came to an interview where she was supposed to drive my dad around and she had no car, she was dropped off for the interview. It is way more headache then it is worth. They don't show up on time a lot. Look these people on there would work for agencies if they could get a job with them.
No way would i trust a contact from care.com... it sounds like you already have enough challenges w/o making more...
