I had to call Chewy because I had just bought a bag of dog food for my pup and needed to return it because I had too lay my pup to rest. I had Zero for 12 yrs and it was very had thing to do. Chewy not only gave me a refund for the food, I received a very nice bouquet of flowers today. I was very touched by this. I have never had this level of caring from any company. I will never use another company. Chewy customer forever.

Ordered Simparica Trio on May 31 now June 10 still nothing! Called their customer service and asked if I needed to mail or email the prescription to them, they said ''no, we sent two emails to your vet, and still waiting to get the approval, call your vet and see what the hold up is'', so I called the vet's office and sat talking to the receptionist until the FIRST email from chewy came through then told ''oh we stopped doing this form a long time ago, now you just download the script to their portal''. Would've got my dog's med a week ago had I not gotten a circle jerk!

If anyone uses CHEWY as a delivery service for dog food they are terrible at customer service and very OVERPRICED. Better off going and giving your business to PETCO or another delivery service. I'm assuming CHEWY is having financial and personnel problems and that's why I am done! Just a horrible experience all around! Thanks for reading

Recently, my orders to Charities have been requiring telephone verification. Chewy screwed up, then when I phoned, their employee Aishia, I think, talked over me, then hung up on me. MOST JUVENILE BEHAVIOR EVER. The next employee said she fixed the billing problem but didn't. I Cancelled my account and will use Amazon or Walmart.

This company sucks! I had a package that was supposed to be delivered today and FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. I called twice to Chewy and both times said we'll get another order sent right out, which they never did. DO NOT BUY FROM CHEWY!
Chewy is absolutely horrible. They advertised a dog house as being waterproof and can he outdoors. In fact it is not at all. It rained the next day after receiving and I had it outside. It leaked really bad. I contacted them and told them even sent pictures. They told me to donate it and that I'd get a refund. So I did that. Now after I donated it and never got my refund they now want me to return it. How can I return it after I already donated it to a shelter and even have proof of that too. Now they have stolen 200.00 from me and telling me too bad. Absolutely horrible company and customer service

I've purchased a few items from Chewy and I barely reach out to customer service but the couple of times I did I was pleasantly surprised by the magnificent customer service I received every time. In my opinion, chewy is number one in customer service. The items are also of good quality and the prices are reasonable.

I have been using Chewy's automatic subscription for my dog's flea/tick medication for over 5 years, but when my dog suddenly died on Thanksgiving, I didn't even think to cancel this subscription. When the medication arrived in the mail, I sent an email to the support team explaining our heartache and wanting to return the medicine and receive a refund, if possible.
The support team was incredible. They responded in genuine compassion, told me I could donate the medicine to a dog rescue near me and they would immediately refund my account and cancel my remaining subscription for me. I was very touched, but then they sent me a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers in memory of my Ivy a week later that left me in tears.
When our family is ready for another dog, we will absolutely be using Chewy whenever we can. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have been a Chewy customer for over three years and other than a few minor issues, I've never had a problem with them until the past months. They started charging me over a hundred dollars for a deposit in addition to my monthly orders. Was never notified of any changes and when I contact them they claim it's because my stuff comes from different warehouses. My stuff has always come from different warehouses and has never been a problem before. They do put the money back into my account when within two to three business days after my order arrives but I'm on disability and my budget is limited.
Thought I was getting my Dog Food and Toys in 3 days as stated on website. It didn't even schedule to ship until 2-3 days after order was put in (I ordered at night). It was then scheduled to be delivered a week later. I Needed dog food before the next week. I could have went elsewhere had I known the Truth. Now, you know. I do not have a problem with the products, just the Deceptive Delivery Time.
My orders were delivered further from the porch each time and the last box with food was placed next to the trash can in front of the house. I find it very rude and disrespectful. I have a rotator cuff injury. I called Chewy to express my concern and I never received a callback or any email as a follow-up to address the situation. Very disappointed!

I was told by that operator to keep robot or donate it; I called 10 days later asking where my refund is and told you have to return the Robot; thank god it was still in my garage & not thrown away. Sent back & waited nothing; I call oh your card was not working; no call or email to tell me this, and this could have been cleared up weeks ago. I called today and Lexies the supervisor hung up on me because I was recording; THEY ARE RECORDING. Called back after Lexie hung up on me and chatted with a JIM. Still not happy I have to wait to see if they accept a new card to send money back. Its same bank. A call this afternoon I am told. I looked up who owns Chewys and it is Petsmart the biggest scam company ever. I signed up my two dogs for their Banfield pet insurance. One dog died, I spent a day on phone try to cancel my dogs insurance, my daughter tried on another day, no answer. So I paid for a yr for a dead dog. Next dog died and I changed my CC due to theft, Banfield Insurance turned me over to collect for $35. We spend well over $200.00 per month with Chewy for cat food. We take care of 16 cats total in our area. We signed up for Auto-Ship so we could have the food on a regular basis but unfortunately, Chewy.com has become unpredictable and inconsistent in shipping out our orders. We're going to look for another source. Chewy has disappointed us too often.

So usually, i like Chewys. Lately their site is just way screwed up. They disabled my husbands account and my account on claims of security reasons. We have been trying to order dog food for weeks! When i asked what i was supposed to do? Wait for another team to email me. I was also told our disabled accounts can never be reopened. So thanks for that. Dont know what that is about but very freaking inconvenient!

Update: I was just randomly charged for $86 from Chewy for an order I never placed. They canceled my previous orders without explanation the past 3 months, but then randomly bill me for an order I did not place? This screams FRAUD.
They have canceled my order the past 3 times for no reason. They refuse to respond to me regarding the orders. If they don't want people to use the auto ship discount, then they need to stop offering them. I have since found a reliable supplier for my pet supplies. But be warned. Just because your order goes through, doesn't mean they will honor and ship it.

I've been a customer for years, and have even supported Chewy brand American Journey. However, over the past 6 months I've noticed a huge decline in their services. My product arrives damaged, the boxes look destroyed, not enough packaging inside to protect my product, and the box has tape circled all around instead of one strip of tape on top and one on bottom. This is due to not enough packaging paper inside to support product and box during shipping. Customer service is rude and based on the way my shipments have been arriving, I'd say there are clearly training issues inside fulfillment centers. I am no longer a Chewy customer, I now buy Purina Pro Plan and have taken my business elsewhere.

Permanent rescheduling of delivery dates without notice. For a long time they could not agree with the clinic permission to sell diet food for a cat. It turned out that they sent the request to the wrong clinic. If possible, avoid this store. I ordered the 1st, until today there is still no delivery, although my cat after the clinic needs specialized feed.

4th order I've placed - no auto. Only when I need to. All orders have been over $137.00 (free shipping). I live in a major city in Oregon, so the 1st 3 shipments came from Arizona. But they each took 4-5 days to arrive (FedEx Ground did the delivery, not a hand off to US Post Service) from date of 'your order has shipped' email confirmation. Inquired and answer I got was 'oh, your different products were at 2 different locations'. Huh? It's just one single product. 4th order was placed on 9/9 and is being shipped from Florida, with a 9/16 delivery date. WHAT, no dry cat food in any of your supplier's CA or AZ warehouses? I only order dry cat food from Chewy as it's almost impossible to get damaged en route. However, knowing it's now coming from Orlando, FL, anything can happen on a cross country road trip.
Shipment arrived late and they lied despite proof. 75 bucks every couple months for five years and their apology is a one dollar coupon. Account closed, avoid them at all cost.
They can't even have the same customer service rep contact you. My stuff always comes from goodyear, az 3 hours away. They tried to tell me it came out of state and explained shipping time after they "reviewed my order." After I blew that up it became the feigned one dollar coupon apology while taking no responsibility. That type of behavior is not worth saving the tax on dog food.
I love the convenience of Chewy.com, the prices are typically cheaper than other major stores. My only complaint is the prices can sometimes fluctuate. We order one brand of food and get messages the price has gone up $3-4, so it's not longer a bargain for us to shop here, until they go back down.
The obvious plus is that we don't need to lug huge bags of dog food around every couple weeks. Great service to have it delivered! We have ours set up on recurring deliveries. Or had. Our 12 year old Lab went to doggie heaven earlier this month. As I'm sure any pet owner can agree, it was heart wrenching for us, especially for our young children. Chewy sent a bouquet of flowers in honor of him. While this may be a marketing tactic, I don't care. It was such a wonderful gesture and was so very much appreciated! During this extremely sad time filled with bittersweet memories and the feeling of an empty home, it made us smile and thankful.
