I, too, was mysteriously debited by this company (whom I have never heard of). Now I must go through the inconvenient process of replacing the card, I suspect that this is, indeed, a scam!
I has a very similar experience. But please check if you receive any emails from...@digitalriver.com. I found that I unconsciously and mistakenly subscribed its product. I cancelled them and also requested refund through webpages. I haven't got a refund yet, but I could cancel unwanted subscription to avoid next payment. It is very tricky. Basically I ordered free trial but what I wanted was free version of avast.
