Doxo doesn't care about this. I contacted them about my business receiving checks for people we never met/took care of. They said we have no right over our business listing and that it is our responsibility to verify that every payment from them is from a legitimate source.

Based on their attitude, I would caution against using this service.

The exact same thing happened to me... My payment for my personal property taxes, which the City Treasurers office is right in my home town, was sent to my water/sewage acct. Account., which the billing office is located 1-1/2 hrs away,. Luckily I myself tracked down where the check DOXO issued and mailed to. Their (DOXO) response was that they would get back to me in 24 to 72 hours. THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE as the check amount was for over $500.00. Also, as sheer luck would have it when the water/sewage department received the check they immediately, knowing there was a mix up, mailed the check directly back TO ME( AS THEY DIDNT TRUST DOXO) They also informed me they did not feel comfortable with DOXO, and felt like it was a mimicking company "possible" scam. Please note in the fine print that DOXO does not guarantee your payment! DO NOT USE EVER AGAIN!
