on 7/25/15Sandra, the clothing at Dresslily is a suitable fit for a 9 year old child or a strung out heroin user who can't put on weight.
Under NO circumstance should you order anything from this company. As my review expressed Dresslily is a scam company that takes consumers money, either doesn't ship the order AT ALL or ships items that have no resemblance to the image they display on their website. Frequently, they lie for several weeks to customers & when customers get upset and contact PayPal or their credit card, Dresslily threatens consumers by either holding their orders hostage and/or their money unless the customer drops the PayPal or credit card case for fraud, failure to provide items paid for etc.
They have scammed hundreds of thousands of customers and stolen millions of dollars. They will absolutely let you down and play you for their own advantage. If you enjoy stress, aggravation, giving your money to people in China who don't give a crap about you or find pleasure in wasting hours of your life reading their poorly written form letters that do nothing but make you realize they may have been written to another Dreaslily victim, go ahead & order clothes that will never fit, will arrive damaged or may never arrive then give them your money.
I am literally working on organizing the payment companies to run internal searches to identify how many consumers have filed complaints so that they rescind use of their services to Dresslily. I assure you, the last thing you need to worry about with Dresslily is if their clothes run small. All you need to consider is that your wallet will be smaller.
Heck with me they even tried to steal my identity.
EXTREMELY SMALL a women's 3XL wouldn't even fit my friends daughter, she's 10 and wears a size 8 junior! Oh and they are TERRIBLE to deal with. I ordered over $300 and they offered me a refund of $41 IF I returned the item. The quality was horrendous too. I was going to cost me more than $41 to return to the address the post office didn't even recognize as an address but they went by the country and code to figure price. Anyway. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE DEAL WITH THIS LOSER COMPANY. Read all the reviews, you'll see very few that are happy with them. In fact I truly believe the "happy" reviews are posers from this company.
You honestly never know! The sizes on the website don't follow the dress, some are true to size some are too big others too small. And when you try to return them you have to ship them back at your own expense and they only refund you 80%. Not even worth it! I know how amazing and cute the clothes are but you get so frustrated when you get them and it's nothing you expected.
I ordered a xl and it was a size 0. My daughter had a hard time getting one of the 3 shirts on. If you plan on returning any items, it will be more costly to ship back to China than what you originally paid for the items. Don't order anything from this company. There are other sites with the same get go, low prices on dresses and they are all the same company. Stay away and keep your money. We all learned the hard way. Believe what we all weote. If you find a GOOD, GREAT PRICES, or anythlike that, they usually work for the company, Run, do not throw your money away. Shop at your local stores this way yoi can try it on and you know you are getting the right size for the price, and you CAN get your money back, unlike Dresslily
Yes. The sizes run very small. For example I wear a size 9.10 depending on how some things are made. I ordered a shirt from dress Lilly size Large. I couldn't fit it at all. I could not even get my arms in the shirt. I gave the shirt to my daughter it fits her like a glove. She is 110 lbs a size 2! After the first wash she could no longer fit it. The fabric was cheap. Would of sent it back but i didnt want to wait another 54 days for my package to arrive. True story
The answer is extremely small, in my experience. But the more important thing to know is JUST DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Scammers scammers scammers. You will wait months and months to get your poor quality, stained, cheap fabric clothes made for a small child, and it will be nearly impossible to return and even more impossible to get your money back. One should NEVER order from a company with this many poor reviews and people warning you stay away.
They run xtra small get at least 2-3 sizes bigger. Plus they dont look like the pics. And they will not answer or respond to calls, email, site contacts for any questions or returns. I got a dress in april. And they only responded after i posted a review and they told me to email them, i did but they responded.
As I have always said, "I don't order garments that need to fit"... so I just order a large size, or XL... depending on what it is... and only garments that are meant to fit loosely. Or accessories that don't require a fit. On garment I got was a garment that was one size fits all... but they said from Small to Medium... and I thought it maybe small, and it is really big. As I said, to fit loose, so not a problem, but it is like an XL... so a small would be swimming in it. I don't care what online site you use... trying to buy 'fitted clothing online', isn't logical. Hope that has helped you.
The sizes are tiny. XL is equivalent to size 8. I personally wouldnt order again there is no proper returns policy in place.
Hope this helps. Dawn
