I haven't had any problems with that but I think their rip off is more with what you buy and the quality of the merchandise. It looks like they picked it up off the street and if you want to return it it has to be sent back to China which costs about triple of what you paid. I only lost $18 dollars which was a lesson learned.
I used PayPal so no theft problems, but quality and sizing ridiculous. Customer Service is a joke although I am waiting on them refunding something. They sent an email asking for me to come on here and update and edit my review with how they "say they will be giving me a refund". I will not do any such thing until I see the $$ in my account and I will only update that they settled but no matter how you spin it their product is falsely advertised and of horrible quality and sized for toddlers. Good Luck!
Cancel your order ASAP as for those positive reviews it's quite clearly someone who is paid to put up good reviews because nobody who actually ordered from this hell hole of a "company" would ever advise you to order off them and would never call them trustworthy!
Disgraceful excuse for a business have no idea how to keep customers happy so they pay people to lie for them or set up fake accounts and put in reviews themselves.
Best advice possible if it's not to late cancel your order and notify your bank that you do not give this company permission to take funds from you!
No credit card fraud is covered by your credit card company. But it may never arrive. As the other reviews say. Not for the faint of heart. Say good bye to your money and pray that it arrives soon. Quality of goods is what you paid for. Cheap $$ will only get you cheap stuff. Their customer service is horrible. I'm not a satisfied customer.
I don't know about theft but you can call your credit card and tell them if they can cancel your purchase. I finally after many emails back and forth with them I finally got half my money back and will donate the clothes. I figure it would cost me a lot to ship it back to China so I figured that $15.00 back is a better deal.
I didn't have a problem with credit card theft but the two tops I ordered were HORRIBLE and looked like a child tried to hand sew stuff together. Strings were all over and buttons did not line up with the buttonholes, which were not finished. Hems weren't straight. Since I only paid about $20 for the two tops, I threw them away. And like you, I didn't read the reviews until I had ordered. And they took about a month to arrive.
Not sure why I had such poor quality but trust me, It was the worse piece of clothing I have ever seen. I would not let a stray animal use it!. I always go out of my way to report good, quality service and items I order, so I am not a vindictive person. No credit card fraud so far. Mt CC company said these companies make money off of the people who do not want to fight for a return, that would be me. Please go to google reviews as you will see the majority of people who have ordered from them, HAVE NOT had a positive experience.
I NEVER received the items they said were shipped. Fortunately, I paid with PAYPAL, filed a complaint and then a dispute. Only then did DressLily refund my money. The company is a complete rip off, and I continue to advise folks to NOT order from them. I count it a blessing in disguise that I never received the items I ordered, based on all the reviews on the sizing and quality of the items received. By the way, there are sister companies that are doing the same thing, so AVOID all FB ads for these items.
I inquired 3 times about the sweater I ordered Dec 12. Jan 19 and still no sweater. They responded and said they would refund $8 of the $20, and if I get the sweater I can keep it for my troubles. Funny they can take our $ immediately though. Even though no CC theft yet, I don't feel comfortable providing my card info again.
I have had any credit card fraud. I pay any online ordering with Paypal. In all the reviews I read, I did not see that problem. I hope that did not happen with you. But if it did, file a complaint with your credit card company and have them cancel that card right away. It should only take 7 days to get another card. I can tell you that you will not be able a get any person at Dress Lily to solve that issue. Consider creating an account wi th h paypal. J have used them for many years C and have not had a pronlem. They also helped me a time or two with a product.

I didn't have any credit card theft problems with DressLily. I must be the only person who's gotten her order filled in a timely fashion, but the quality was poor - the button holes hadn't even been cut open and the fur collar that was lush and beautiful in the advertisment (the reason I ordered the jacket at all) was straggly and thin and ugly. It also had a smell. They didn't want me to send it back. Instead they offered me a partial refund. Very partial. Not wanting further hassles, I accepted, and received the refund to my credit card pretty fast.
If you're worried about credit card fraud, just check your bank account online (if you do online banking) every day for a while, and if you notice any purchases that you didn't make, contact your bank immediately. If they're like my bank, you'll get it all back (and a new credit card account).
But I had no problem with my credit card with DressLily
I don't know about cc theft. I never received my purchase that was made mid-October but was refunded within 36 hrs. Of posting my complaint. Don't know if I'll try them again and will certainly be hesitant dealing with a company that doesn't even give you a phone number in the future. As for cc theft, I'm due a new card soon, otherwise I might consider replacing it
Good luck getting your money back. You can try e-mailing them and cancelling the order, you may get your money back. Otherwise you may not. I tried sending my items back, way to small, and it would have cost me more than what i paid to return them. I gave them to good will and lost $42. Pass the word along to your friends and family. Zulily, Dresslily all are the same company. Do a review of any company before you order anything
I received my first order within 2 weeks with free shipping from China to the UK. Product is good value for its price. Of course I was not expecting super quality for the few pounds that I paid but dress I bought is nice on me, hence it was a positive experience. I measured quite carefully before ordering and had to order XL for the item even though I usually wear M so I think their sizes are not US or UK guided. I used paypal to pay hence not so worried about credit card fraud.
No, I didn't experience any theft. And I did finally receive a refund. Essentially I was given the run around regarding the shipping of an item - a no show - and they claimed it would take 90 days for them to consider a refund. After I posted here they did issue the refund and also asked that I change my review. I don't plan to do that because it took a lot of time and frustration in my dealings with them. I don't think you need to worry about theft, just whether or not you'll receive your order and, if you do, if it's of poor quality just chalk it up as lesson learned. I'm not ordering from them again. There are much better companies who operate in China that sell on Ebay.
No theft reported but it did take a while to get here. I ordered on Dec. 8, they were shipped on the 12 and I got them Jan 18th. The dress was WAAAY too small and I did follow the size chart. But the shirt is nice. Cheap material, though, that's for sure... with both the dress and the shirt. I won't be ordering from dresslily anymore. The shipping just takes way to long unless you want to pay extra and the quality is pretty poor. Oh well, you learn as you go.:-)
I was feeling EXACTLY like you after placing my order. But I'm guessing it depends ob what you order. I ordered a Pink& grey cardigan with Aztec print in Medium(my reg size size is small)I was told the items would run small. But when I recieved my order the Med.is actually too big for me. But it does look EXACTLY like the picture. The material was soft. I sure wasn't expecting high end material at the price I paid. The Only issue I had was I paid all that extra$$ for speedy delivery2days. Because it cines feom China. Which I wasn't aware of at the time. But I waited well over a month for my item. Now I MAKE sure Im nit ever ordering frin China unless time isn't an issue. But bio credit card theft here.
To honestly don, t think that it's a credit card fraud I hope that you used PayPal to pay for the item I personally will not order online again unless I use PayPal if I hadn't have used them I don't think I would have gotten my money back. I sincerely hope that you have a better luck with that dresslilly site than I
Dear Girls, I did ordered 19 items. Because I used to order from US and shipping was in Europe. Believe me, we didn't have any problems. I got first Item- excellent quality. I 'll get my order in few shipping- what was promised and believe that we politely solve if Woold be few problems. I don't expect super high quality, because the price and this casual cloth for every day. Company asked my opinion about best. Companies where I was most satisficated- and only one HSN Diana Gilman. I believe that Dreslili is growing to be good company. Wish them the best. Compare what doing companies with cosmetics and send you garbage for huge money-they really most unhonesty in USA and fraud your money -poor quality cream and serum 30 mg 98+104 $.
