If they don't respond then go to your credit card company and place a dispute. Tell them that they will not address a problem with the mechandise and that they will not supply a refund option. Your CC company will refund you temporarily and investigate. I placed a dispute on my purchase and was refunded by my credit card company as they went after the merchant. Use your credt card protections. They will help you 90% of the time.
