Why are so many people not getting the items they have paid for?

Because this is a scam mosly... I wish I checked them out before I ordered

Because dress lily is a China scam company.
They have created an entire system that allows th to manipulate consumers and they have no problem doing so because most people give up.

We all really need to band together and help shut down dress lily.

The best way to start is by making sure the credit card companies and pay pal stops allowing them to use their services

That would be a question for the company to answer. It's just bad business and most of us have read the reviews and will not order from them.

They are not a reputable company. They sell poorly sized items then don't stand behind their products because they know they are in the wrong. I did get a full refund, but only because I paid with PayPal and filed a dispute with them. Dress lily promised a refund, but never delivered. They kept telling me my extra large purchase was not sized by U.S. standards/my purchase did not fit my x small d-I-l.

Because its basically a scam to get your money its whether the choose to send the item or not people really need to learn to read reviews before they buy things i had a horrible experience with this company they also come under many other names soo beware

They have very poor customer service and communications. Most everything comes from China so the wait is very long (4-8 weeks) if you do get the item. If you don't get the item after that amount of time you might as well forget about it. Customer service rarely responds appropriately if at all. Just pass the message DONT SHOP HERE!

9 weeks after purchase, I received the item. To the question, why so many are not receiving their purchase, I think is multi-fold: 1) It is a sow cost company that is in China and mail delivery is questionable. 2) Language barrier, and they get the address wrong. 3) They do not have the customer service drive that American companies and customers expect. The way they answer their customers is ample evidence that they do not own the responsibility of making their customers very satisfied with the experience. Realize, if you choose to buy from them, you will wait a very long time before you get the product, it will be sized smaller than what you expect, and if there are problems, you will get funny, canned answers that will irritate you.

It is a big scam. Even if they offer a refund they want to make it substantially less than you paid. Do not order from them. Most of the positive reviews are from paid reviewers. No merchandise and no refund.

Because it is a scam. Its from China and they only want our money. No matter what you order you will never see your items. I don't care what the reviews say, don't order from them. I noticed lately they are advertising on tv. Inform your friends and family they won't get anything drom this company.

Dress lily is a scam. The few people that do get their orders are lucky. It just so happens that Dress lily will send out a few orders to try and make the company appear legitimate; but they are not. Please do not waste your time and money ordering from Dress Lily. You most likely will not receive your order. If you happen to receive it I promise, you will be extremely disappointed. You will not get a refund. There are plenty of trustworthy companies that you can order from online. It would be in your best interest to order from a reputable company or go to your the local stores in your area.

Dont do any business with them you'll never get your merchandise and you'll have to make threats against them.

The verdict is still out on that with me because I am still hoping to get my items especially since they withdrew the funds IMMEDIATELY! The delivery time is very long. I have order other items that were shipped from China and at max it was no more than 10-15 days. I'm not too sure why it takes months to get items from DressLily. If you do order, I would proceed with awareness of knowing that it is going to be a delay in getting them and from reading the reviews maybe never receiving them. Signed still waiting

I can't even donate these items because they are so poorly made - its like they are dumping seconds. I was offered a $2 credit on a $35 order - like I would ever buy from them again...

I received my clothes several weeks about 2 1/ 2 months. One blouse that everyone loves but the second said large but more like a xxs but it is beautiful. I will have to say that they don't have enough personnel and lack the service we are used to. However I did find one of my purchases in a department store for 3 x the price. Be patient and if you purchased anything it'll come eventually. Good luck

I think it's supply and demand. As long as it took, I believe that there is no supply whatsoever! They send one item and say that the rest is on backorder to satisfy your credit card charge. The rest follows LONG afterwards... like after they make it.

I did receive my clothes, but they were the WORST quality- I could have made them better! Also, I am a 8-10 in size and their LARGE or Xlarge does not come close to fitting my daughter who is a 6. Just bad stuff if you do get it. And yes they are running under different names online - looks like cute clothes but not worth the time or aggravation. Good Luck!

I will be donating my clothes I received - hopefully someone will like them :)

I have ordered from them and I have received all my item, took up 5 weeks but they were great with me. The clothing I got fitted perfectly and I have seen similar clothing for up three times what I paid for it. I had an issue with not receiving one of my items - I sent a question about it and they responded straight away that the top is on back order. But as I say each to own and let people make up their own mind.

You won't get an answer from the company as they do not respond to anything. I eventually got my top after 6 weeks however it is the most cheapest made clothing ever and is falling apart after one use. Stay away from this company. They should be investigated
And shut down.
