Consult with Dr. Marty first and your local Veterinarian next.

This is what I can tell you as a consumer of dog food. Nutrition is extremely important for animals probably now more than ever since we have played with our genetics and everything else in the dog so we need to give them the best opportunity ever. If you're going to switch to from Dr. Marty's to another food Just be aware of the ingredients. Kibble in my opinion is a killer, it's loaded with so many things that dogs don't even need to consume. There are brands out there that are working diligently to make better dog food and keep it affordable for the average person, please look for that. Keep in mind all dog foods are not the same. Dr. Marty is expensive especially if you have multiple dogs. I am an advocate of the raw diet so when things calm down after a Hurricane Ian I'll probably go back to some raw and then Dr. Marty or combined them. But if you can afford to stay with Dr. Marty please do so you will not be disappointed

It may go back to itching and scratching if that is why you are purchasing it.
