NO! Buy it local.

If you are looking for a bargain You would better to buy from a shop that resells used electronics. I would NEVER buy this type of item from EBay. Too many thieves and swindlers. If you have access to Kijiji, go that route. At least you can inspect the item before you buy.

Items should be listed as 'Used' if they have been used but quite often people list as 'New without box/label etc'. When that happens it's a question of luck really because quite a lot of people lie in their listings. Ebay are supposed to cover buyers when there are discrepancies but sometimes they don't. They actually don't give a crap about fairness but it's sellers who get a rougher deal on the whole. As someone else suggested, it's probably safer to use a credit card to pay as ebay sometimes take money from paypal if they decide to. Ebay needs a total overhaul because it's really not working fairly at all. Good luck!

Use credit card, not paypal, so you have a way to get funds back if listing is incorrect. Ebay is a den of thieves and ran by those that have no moral compass!

You need to contact the vendor, if there is any question, and just ask them.
