How do you get your money out of freelancer, once you get paid. Do you have to take your tests to get paid? I paid a freelancer and she is saying she cannot get her money out. Why?

Freelancer is scam. I have very bad experience recently. "The payments you've received from your employer "-----------" were reversed due to their account issues. As a result, their account was closed"
Lost over 800$. Freelancer also keep the fee for this job! Their support never answer. SCAM

Freelancer.com is a scammers paradise, when someone trying to get money form the site, they will do every dirty trick to keep money on their site. A typical scheme:
1. We can't allow you to take your money from us. You should verify your account first!
2. We can't allow you to take your money from us. Your buyer has not verified a phone number! (account, address,... etc)
3. You don't have any money on your account now! We suspected that you earn too much therefore you are doing money laundering and we are cancelling your account!

Freelancer.com will pull the "identity verification", and take her money hostage, as soon as she try to take money out of the website. It´s the worst site in the internet to work with.

Freelancer may be a WHITE COLLAR CRIME organization. Why should they give you your money... they want to keep your money DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOKED ORGANIZATION AND CALL THE AUTHORITIES ON THEM AND FILE A FORMAL CRIME REPORT. They do not do business, they do CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. In my opinion they will fold soon, and take off with whatever cash they were able to keep away from you.

Never got one job in the month I was with them and after they started hitting my bank account for a premium membership I never wanted, I was forced to file a fraud complaint against them with Paypal, my bank and the US Embassy in Sydney. I would stay far away from them.

You don't. Freelancer is a scam. No one has ever been paid through that site. Delete your account and forget they owe you money.

Don't fall into their trap saying your account needs to be verified first. Because even if you do, they will hold back the money anyway for whatever vague reason they can think of.
The problem is not that there's something wrong with your account, but that conning innocent workers out of their hard earned money is a policy of Freelancer.com

My freelancer as a bookkeeper was paid directly by cheque from my clients and not through the website. That is a personal arrangement made but some on contract where my agent does paid me cheque to my address too. Good luck as mine is bookkeeping services where I have to go down their office to perform data entries.

That freelancer needs to set up her account so she can withdraw funds. I set up mine using Paypal without problems. She has to wait for 15 days though if this is her first time withdrawing funds. I believe the minimum amount that you can withdraw is $30. :)
