on 4/7/15I purchased a fine jewelry item. It had a defect and did not include any of the documentation that should have come with this item if it had been a new, first-quality item. I sent photos of the defect and multiple requests for a replacement or refund and was continually denied. Only after contacting Consumer Affairs of NYC did they finally agree to a return. I have a credit that I have to use; after that I will never again be purchasing from this company.
From my own personal experience, it has been safe... I have ordered from GILT@ least a few times, but they were all for clothing that I never had to return... I did use the live chat to consult with a representative over inquiry about a top I bought + was answered in a timely manner... Within the same chat, I brought forth an error in the description of an item to the rep who immediately had it corrected...
For some reason, I feel iffy about ordering anything other than clothing... But, that is just my opinion...
Yes absolutely. I do a lot of my online shopping for clothing and shoes from them. Have not had any issues with quality and my items come in very quickly... within a few days! The only issue I ever experienced was with an expensive watch and their unwillingness to bend their return policy to satisfy me as a Customer. As a result I won't be buying expensive watches from them in the future. But everything else has been great and i highly recommend them.
