Backed their latest kickstarter which was funded, but company is incapable of launching the pledge manager for over a year. They made infrequent posts claiming health issues, but no updates since March 31st 2024. All messages asking for info are ignored. Avoid at all costs!
I used to buy from them about 4 years ago, back then it was usually a slight delay in getting your order. I unfortunately backed their Nov. 2022 Kickstarter and we will unlikely see see it fulfilled as its May 2024. Everyone is complaining that their ordered minis (outside of the kickstarter) are not arriving and the company is impossible to communicate with.
Tip for consumers:
Do not order from these guys, you won't get the order and no-one will reply to your refund questions.
Ordered in January 2020, still awaiting delivery of miniatures. No response at all to multiple emails requesting firstly updates and latterly a refund - absolute scam artists, if I had looked at their previous issues before ordering I would never have bothered. Avoid at all costs
The worst customer service I have ever received from a games company.
A month since I placed my order and it's not been delivered.
They simply ignored my messages until I copy and pasted my experience on to their Facebook page, where other customers might see it.
Then I miraculously got a reply.
Not a "So sorry, we missed your messages, we'll get right on it."
Nope, apparently it's my fault because I don't subscribe to their newsletter.
I know I'm not alone in getting awful service from Hasslefree. This isn't the first time I've had this experience with them either.
Needless to say it will be the last...
Ordered online, no communication for 4 weeks, 6 emails 3 phone calls, no comms untill threat of refund. Lots of excuses, received refund after raising credit card dispute. I had contacted before to pick up another order but no communication, total loss to their business so far due to bad management £160, its a shame, they are nice sculpts, but no way worth the HASSLE (ironic) purchased proxy figures elsewhere.
I would advise to purchase from them at a show to save on disappointment, if you have to be certain.
Was offered a 20% discount on the next order, ""Ha Ha"" I love that sort of humour, whats 20% of nothing Ha Ha Ha, read the above. Good luck on that business plan.
Made an order. Never received that order. Tried to contact them and they ignored me. Made a claim on PayPal and then they tried to blame it all on me. They ignored PayPal, so at least I am getting my money back.
Once more I've encountered ridiculous delay in shipping and absolutely no communication response to any of their published email addresses.
I had previously been a fan and strong supporter of Hasslefree, despite having previously needed to cancel an order and request refund through Paypal after no delivery and no communication.
I thought the problems were resolved and ordered again but, after two months and with no response to any email sent to any of their three published email addresses (and the 'Contact Us' form on the website), I have once more had to request a refund and cancellation through Paypal.
I've seen all the usual excuses in the past (illness, busy/backlog, plague of locusts, dog ate the homework) but a reputable company that wants to continue in business should sort out communication at the least. Businesses do not survive if they cannot sell goods and do not communicate with their customers, not matter how nice those toys are.
So, no more orders from me and I shall be removing the advert/link that I put up on my website over ten years ago. This last incident was the final straw for me - goodbye Hasslefree.
Tip for consumers:
If you are tempted to deal with Hasslefree in future, use Paypal or some other organisation that allows refunds and/or cancellation of orders.
