You tell me, they literally obtain ALL of your private info, do whatever they want with it, and you have no way of contacting them..

I would be cautious of this company. We have been trying to get a customer service rep to answer questions and they send the same response.

I had to use it to file for unemployment in Pennsylvania. It was a pain in the $#*! to understand what was wrong with the documents I scanned. I finally went thru a process of scanning 5 documents. So I could speak to a customer representative. Who sounded and looked like they had been doing the same thing all day. The CR took my name and other vitals and then had me hold up my identification docs in front of the camera to verify them. Finally after 2 days of this ID.me nonsense, I was able to log in to unemployment to file my weekly claim.

One big question I was left with was "Why did I have to prove who I was by using all the same docs I used to get my PA REAL ID drivers license that cost me $20 dollars When they could have only asked for my driver's license which is suppose to prove who I am to get on and airplane or enter a government building (but not for voting)?"

Of course. How do you just hand over all your private information to some company that has zero customer service. Unbelievable

It seems legit, but does it matter when you cannot get any service or help with your issues.

They are apparently a legitimate company but their advertising practices are on the shady side which makes me wonder if they do business the same way. They have an AD on the California DMV website that looks like it's official DMV business. Not so. It's just an AD. I didn't know the DMV was putting ADs on their website now.

It is a legit company and is required for many government services and even registering for classes at some colleges. Hopefully your account set up goes smoothly because they have no customer support, no phone numbers to call, chat bot is useless and no one will ever respond to your support tickets. Basically they are worse than the DMV. At least with the DMV you can speak to a live person.

It's legit. I utilized them to connect my digital password wallet and access the IRS and VA websites. Im sure there will be others it helps me get into but just making those two easy was more than enough for me.

I thought the security process was very thorough. I had to repeatedly verify who I was via Multi-Factor Authentication.
And... it is the organization the IRS uses (hmmm... maybe that should give reason for pause... lol).
But seriously, it seems like they have their stuff together.

It's absolute garbage. I'm leaning towards government scams. Their uneducated bull crap makes me want to pull my hair out. Go back to elementary school, ID.ME. Learn how to $#*!ing read. You're a joke.
