I recieved 2 job offers from people wanting me to be their personal assistant and both happen to be out of town for a few weeks. And want me to start before they get back and will be sending me checks in the mail. Is this legit or is this a spam?

Hi Dana, we'd like to investigate this further. Can you please email us with your Indeed account email address as well as forward any information sent to you by these two individuals to sitejabber@indeed.com? Thank you.

Mmm. Sounds pretty dodgy. Did you actually speak to someone? My partner just got sms's saying he has the job and to provide his bank details etc. He phoned their "number" and the person who answered said it was the wrong number. Maybe try that

Hello, anytime someone say they would be out of town.Is a definite red flag. Most scammers operate in a way they remain distant from there prey.It may be a legit job. But, I wouldn't take the risk personally. Especially, if it was on indeed. Indeed is a haven for spammers as they rank high in key word search. When you type jobs in on Google. I refuse to use indeed ever again and still receiving annoying spam calls from spammers that linger on there site. Hope this helps and good luck.

Indeed has really picked up their socks the last few months. More so then any other site or job agency. As for their legitimacy I've never had a problem to be honest
