Why does my sterling ring 925 make my skin red and irritated only nickel does this to my hands. Why lie to the consumers? Rhodium used to cover lies?

I don't know what happened with your situation. It sounds disappointing, at the least. My sister is terribly allergic to everything else silver, but I bought her earrings and bet her $20 she could wear them if they were rhodium plated. I won the bet.
