on 8/25/13Hello! This is from the JustFab team. We know that this question was raised over a year ago, but we would like to address it. When you place your first order, we offer two check-out options: 'regular' and 'VIP'. Checking out as a VIP gets you a discount on your first order as well as special pricing and perks on future orders. However, it does also activate a monthly membership, as explained during checkout. Our membership charges $49.95 a month, which becomes $49.95 in VIP credit (good toward any 2-piece outfit/bundle or individual item up to $80). The "skip-the-month" feature is a tool we offer our members so they can have more control over their membership. Any time you don't want to participate -- for example, if you don't see anything you want to buy that month -- you can "skip the month" from the 1st to the 5th and you won't be billed. There is no limit to the number of times you can skip.
We would also like to let you know as a VIP member, we are sending you email reminders consistently, that's twice each month; one on the 1st to let you know about your new collection, and another on the 5th of the month for skipping reminders for you not to be billed for the month. You may also check your email preferences or set up an alarm on your mobile phone, so rest assured you will not be able to miss to skip the month.
Once you are done skipping the month, try to refresh the page and see if the skip button is grayed out or unclickable. If it is, then that means you have successfully skipped the month.
All I know is I only ordered one pair of shoes, If I liked what I was receiving then I would have shopped again, I was not expecting to be joining some kind of subscription so that they could dip into my account and charge me 29.99 every month, I saw it as a scam so I complained when they would not do anything I went to the better business bureau and they resolved the issue for me I just had to pay attention to my account because they tried to continue to take the money out of my account, eventually they stopped trying to take my money.
It can be very difficult to cancel your membership without paying for the privilege. I ended up writing directly to them and got a partial refund. I am not sure what there policy is, but there actions speak clearly. Be cautious. Don't sign up unless you want new shoes or handbags every month.
I am sooooo curious to hear feedback from members of justfab.com. It seems too good to be true. As far as I can tell from doing some cursory research they are a legit company. I have been seeing their ads a lot and at some huge sites like yahoo.com. Knowing a thing or two about internet advertising, I have deduced that they are spending a lot on advertising. That doesn’t necessarily make them legit but it adds to their credibility. At any rate, I have read through the terms and conditions and the program is straight forward. However; I am wondering about customer service and if anyone has had trouble canceling their membership because that will be the deciding factor for me.
I'm not a big fan of those monthly ship clubs as you just never know what you are going to get. I guess if I had alot of money and didn't want to waste time shopping for exactly what I want they would be good. I would check out gilt.com if you haven't seen them yet... they are pretty good.
I order 3 pairs of shoes from justfab. They took the money out of my card and then a week later when i was checking up on my order they cancelled my shipment saying that a couple days after I order they tried going back into my account and it didnt authorize and now i dont even get my shoes and i dont even have my money back. What should I do?
You can check out my review on JustFab.com. I get the whole $39.95/month thing, unless you "skip a month". Being bombarded with emails, I didn't want to chance deleting the "skip a month" and being charged monthly. Instead, I tried to cancel my "membership". I'm now on my 5th attempt! They won't let you go. You could check the site out, get a great deal and then change your credit card expiration date to the current month. This way they have to cancel you. ;)
Like an average shopper, I signed up for justfab.ca and found out about the whole $39.95/month on the same day. After reading reviews, I've tried to "cancel my account" through the online system and received a page saying that my account has been cancelled, but I can still log in.
My question is should I go through the hassle of calling their number and arguing for them to cancel my membership, or is cancelling online enough? I mean, they don't have my credit card information.
