The most horrible customer support and the longest wait times I have ever experienced. I purchased an LLC package with all the bells and whistles to include expedited processing. After two months of waiting, broken promises from customer support ("It will be finished today, we are so sorry for the wait..."), many unanswered questions, no contact, hours on the phone and in chat rooms, and a refusal to refund services not rendered, I cannot recommend LegalZoom.

I canceled my registered agent and they charged me and said I'm not getting my money back. I asked her how do you get the option to cancel online and it doesn't cancel it. She said even though I did that I have to go through secretary of the state and change it. I will never use this site again.

To be clear here, I had no issues with LegalZoom up until this week. I used them to create an LLC in the state of Texas in 2022. I chose to dissolve the LLC in January of 2024 and worked with LegalZoom to do so. They were helpful, I PAID THEM to dissolve it and received all the paperwork in finality in March 2024. Here is where I have an issue with them: they CHARGED me a subscription fee of $249 on July 13,2024, MONTHS after my LLC was dissolved and my subscription was canceled. I spent 2 hours on chat with customer service trying to get a refund for this and they REFUSE to refund me, even though they are no longer my registered agent and not providing any services. DO NOT USE LEGALZOOM unless you want to be robbed.

As the title said, Legalzoom charged us $249 for a Registered Agent subscription in 2024. We canceled our services with LegalZoom in 2022. Even with my cancelation email as proof their customer service agent Jac would not process a refund for the $249 even though they had done no filings for us since 2022. My multiple request for escalation were met with Jac trying to take me in circles. At this time we will NEVER do business with LegalZoom ever again.

I was one of the early adopters and wrote an estate plan complete with trusts and wills. I spent 35 years advising the wealthiest of Americans about their finances. I decided to use LZ against my own judgement. Well 14 years later I,( as will EVERYONE) need to make updates. Beneficiaries die, properties change etc so I needed to change my plan. Well low and behold LZ has lost my plan and is telling me to draft a new one. If you have ever written an estate and funded it, you know how ridiculous that response is. $850 down the toilet. I have their emails, receipts, plans etc. Should have went to a local atty. Estate attorneys please use this as your sales pitch against do it your selfers. Your welcome.

I spent money with legal zoom to set up my LLC. I was told my brand name was available and even got a congratulations message from them. At that point I started ordering products for my LLC. My shirts actually came in a couple hours before talking to the people at LegalZoom and finding out that my name actually isn't available. They never offered to make thing right in any way. Will definitely be figuring out how to get my money back.

Very Efficient. Christian@ LegalZoom asked very directed & pertinent questions and was able to assist me with setting up my LLC. He was also able to provide an additional service that they offer, which reduced the amount of time I need to spend dealing with the State for a low price. Extremely pleased with my experience.

I was not receiving correspondence from legal zoom due to one letter missing from my email address. He was able to diagnose the problem, and fix it. Got me renewed with RA services. This is what customer service should look like. Wish other companies treated their customers as well as Legal Zoom. Thank you! Spencer

I contacted Legal Zoom online today as I required information on formation of an LLC in NJ. I interacted with one of their representatives called Eden. All my queries were answered in a very pleasant and professional manner. I got a very clear perspective of what the actual requirements are and I was also informed about the timeframe. As a medical professional you do not receive any training on how to start or run a business. Sarah was so incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions, and literally spent 60 minutes patiently walking me through everything. If I could give 10 stars I would, absolutely amazing customer service. I am so beyond pleased with my experience, she took my fears and turned them into excitement. Best purchase I have ever made, she should be in charge of training all of your staff. Great job!

After four years of not communicating with LegalZoom they were extremely cooperative on getting my account recovered and up to date. When it came to federal law they were prompt to keep me updated on mandates and regulations. Very professional and well mannered business.

My overall experience was great. Legalzoom.com agent Jimmie on the phone, she built rapport, was patient, friendly, knowledgeable and made sure all concerns were cared for. I felt comfortable through the process to disconnecting the call.

As a friend turned Caregiver, preparing for medical assistance is a must! How can your answer Paramedics questions on Rx's, etc. without access to medical records and how can you pay a friend's rent or utilities? Lawyers are pricey and by the hour! A small fee & a great piece of mind = LegalZoom. Just do it!

Even still, they do very good work. And their agents all seem knowledgeable and are very respectful. But what stood out most of all, was every time I called in and spoke to an agent, they always seemed passionate and sincere. A huge difference from the normal "rush you along to get you off the line as fast as possible" type of service that seems to be the normal nowadays. Bottom line,
I salute LegalZoom and it's employees.
And give them their credit where it's due.(I would like to suggest they maybe take a look at their prices with the intent of cutting some slack) but still. Thank you LegalZoom and keep up the good work.

I asked some questions via LegalZoom chat today and got intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, helpful answers. So unusual for chat help! I think it speaks highly of this company and it's services, or at least makes me feel more comfortable. I have only just signed up so can't speak to the services I have purchased, but the chat help was great. (Kind of like when you go to a restaurant and the rolls are great, you know the food will be great, too!)

Decided to start up an llc I didn't want to make the wrong moves and it almost made me hesitant on going through with it but I found legalzoom and they have put all my worries at ease very knowledgeable and friendly!
