I bought an ipad case from these guys. You might be thinking there's nothing special about an ipad case but you really need to check these out. The one I bought was made from wood and leather and made to look like a notebook. It's excellent. My colleagues at work wondered what I was doing when I started tapping and swiping my book! What's more, I even left it on a table in a bar by mistake and nobody stole it - because who wants someone else's notebook?
I just received the AirPods max case and to say I'm disappointed and angry over this expensive product is an understatement. There are no instructions but what is egregious about this is there is no way in the world my headphones can be charged using that hole at the bottom. I've tried every kind of placement. Then there are these leather handbag looks inside that I have no idea how to use If you're going to charge a considerable amount for a premium products then I expect results. I wish I could return it but I ripped open the box. This is totally unacceptable.

Really disappointed in my Oxford magnetic case for iPad Pro 11. This is a pricey case and it is poorly designed. First, looks well made but color doesn't reflect web site. Ok not the end of the world, it's not as pretty as I hoped with a flat dull brown color instead of the rich reddish whiskey I'd seen on their site. Variations in the skin. Ah well. What's fatal though is the magnets aren't strong enough to safely secure my rather expensive and fragile iPad. When I asked customer service what I should do because the iPad falls out of the case when I open it, she told me that the magnets are there to hold it when it s upright. Ok, yes and gravity is helping there but it's an iPad case to protect it! If it falls out as I open it - regularly- it's not working very well. Buyer beware.

I recently purchased two cases. While putting my phone in my beautiful new leather case the cherry wood split on both sides. I emailed customer service to inquire about a replacement. I was emailed a memo from Pad and Quill that they were aware of the issues with the Cherry cases. They said they could send me a replacement inner case next month that I'd install into my outer leather case. Next month! Are you kidding. They new about the issue and sent it anyway. Then I requested a full refund. They said I need to waste my time mailing it back before my money would be refunded. Terrible customer service! Stay away from anyone that knowingly sends you a defective $135 phone case. They used to be a great company. I was a repeat customer. I am disgusted by the way they are treating me. Buyer beware.
Worst Costumer Service EVER. Placed and order on a Friday. After submitting and seeing that there was an error, I emailed multiple times, left messages and 5 days later they sent the item to the wrong address because they did not read or heard any of the emails or messages. I have yet to hear from them. Never again will I purchase anything or recommend them.
Tip for consumers:
Do not expect a response to your email, messages or access to a human being. Worst costumer support ever.

I paid for expedited shipping and the product page said my bag would ship on 6/2/22. I had to nag them every single day to get them to ship it. It was marked as shipped on 6/8/22 but by end of business on 6/9/22 USPS hadn't received the package.
1. I have been a client since the inception of this business. Buying their leather iPhone cases.
2. Recently the quality of the leather has declined significantly. It is easily bruise and much thiner.
3. They do not show on the photos, that to accommodate the iPhone camera, the leather does not cover the entire cut out for the camera. It looks really poor.
4. and most importantly. The most recent case (iPhone pro 12) is so poorly made that my iPhone is too loose and kept falling off the case. It cracked on the pavement on an incline. A mess.
This company used do make premium quality product. Not anymore.
After receiving my iPad Pro (12.9in) cover later than advertised on the website, I was surprised to find that the black dye / tannins used to stain the cover had transferred onto my iPad screen and Apple Pencil - i. E. I now have black marks on my screen and apple pencil. Was a happy customer (bought same product in 'whiskey' 2 years ago with no issues). Quality control seems to have slipped since then.
Tip for consumers:
get a lighter coloured leather cover to avoid colour stains

I purchased the contega linen iPad Pro case. It's very beautiful, but poorly constructed. The elastic band was the first part to go. When I inquired about this to the company - via email - I was told to send it to them - where they would repair it for x-amount of dollars. The cost was not justified considering that it was glued to the linen fabric. So, I let it go. It would cost more to send it than to repair it, I rationalized. Fast forward several months later - the birch wood frame started splintering and breaking off. All in all, very cute if you don't mind paying a lot of money for a product that will not last.
After purchasing multiple products over the year, the quality and customer service seems to be declining. Purchased a Bella Fino phone case and the size specs online don't match the product I was sent and now I have to pay to return for a refund because of their mistake.
I bought a case a few years back. Liked the look and functionality. But the wood frame cracked and the case was useless. Then last year I tried again. Within one year the case split again and when it did my phone slipped out and the glass shattered. Pad and quill takes no responsibility. Never again!
For starters the web site wouldn't let me write a review. Worse is that the charging port cut out isn't cut correctly so now I will have to find a way to fix this problem. I am all around disappointed by the item, the fact I can't return it explains a lot about the company and I can understand why this style is being phased out. It is completely useless and impractical for daily use on anything other than a kindle. I read many reviews before purchase which lead me to believe that the case bent like the contega but sadly this isn't reality. The hard case doesn't bend like the contega and it doesn't create a self contained iPad stand. $80 down the drain for another useless product. The woodwork and case are nice but the company seems to not care about basic users of non iPad Pro models because they don't and won't make the contega case for non iPad Pro users.
The poly tray which holds the phone is adhered to the leather by 3m adhesive. Because of this the tray and the phone that it's holding can easily fall away from the leather when opening or removing the phone from the case. I received one case with this issue. I contacted customer service, who were very friendly and helpful. They specified that it was defective and sent me a new one. The new one had exactly the same issue. As soon as I opened the case the tray popped away from the leather about 3/4 of the way. I returned for a refund. The quality of the leather and stitching was excellent, but the case offers no secure attachment to keep your phone safe.
I ordered a phone cover advertised for the IphoneX. It came and... it didn't fit.
And it turned out not to have openings on the side for pressing the volume or the on -off switch.
I corresponded about a return, and they finally authorized it - but not the return shipping - even though it was defective.
I ordered the Lowry Cuff Band in Chestnut with black clasps for the Apple Watch. The company over sold these bands and offered me an alternative in Whiskey & Nickle.
I obliged as the watch was a recent purchase and I desired a leather band, however the product I was met with did not work out of the box and had two defects.
One being the bottom clasp: It did not lock into the bottom of the watch and would slide through making it dangerous to use.
Second being the retaining ring: It had a terrible patch up job that seemed someone did just to get it out of the door. I can feel the heavy thread and poorly aligned leather under the band.
I reached out to the company via website and email seeking assistance; to which I have received none. I have however received an additional promotion on their iPad cases.
I was looking forward to conducting business with PQ as I enjoy leather accessories, however given the quality and care I have received, or the lack there of, I personally suggest looking elsewhere.
Independent retailers could do better than this.

Bought a MacBook Pro 14" Valet Case. Stupidly spent over $400.00 Canadian to get it. Received it in respectable time. It is beautiful to look at, smell, etc. but that is its only appeal. The form and function of this valet bag is terrible. The closure does not fit well when closed. Looks like a badly designed bag when carried by the handle, not like some of their other bags. There website shows a front pocket with a wallet and keys, as well as a charger... I assure you, if that stuff was in there, it will definitely not close. If you're looking for protection for your $3500. 00 laptop... look elsewhere. Due to the extremely tight fit, the back of the rivets for the shoulder strap harness are exposed inside the case which over time will scratch the aluminum finish of your MacBook. However, if your going to leave the bag at home empty to show friends how much money you can waste... it will look fantastic on your desk.
Contacted customer support with pics and a video. They said that the handle, was not a handle and the ill fitted closure is the way it was designed. So no help from them. Will have it modified locally so maybe it will be usable without looking badly made.

I spent over $100 on a personalized iPad case. Firstly I waited over 4 months to get ikt (COVID, okay, fine) but then, when I DO get it, there are two tape strips to affix the iPad onto the case. Are you kidding me? TAPE? Why was this case $100 if you are using TAPE strips? Then, when I asked for a refund on their "money back 30 day guarantee", I was refused because I got two initials (hardly visible) on the case. Please, please, stay away from this very unprofessional "business".
I loved the idea of the P & Q Cartella MacBook Pro case. All the rosy language from their website turns out to be baloney when you need customer service. The case I purchased turned out to have had a problem with the original adhesive tape strips that holds it on the computer, and unbeknownst to me, P & Q had slapped crudely cut strips on top of the original ones. The result: when I had to remove the case from the computer, it was a nightmare. The case took a lot of force to remove, and the crude strips were tightly bonded to the computer. I really thought I would damage the computer both in getting the case off and then with incredible time to carefully get the strips off. P & Q's "service"? Slap another set of crude tape strips on top of the original defective ones, just like I had already experienced to be a nightmare. And getting them to even do that took half a dozen emails. You can't get anyone on the phone, communicating with them is awful, and they don't seem able to fulfill any substantive customer service. Not at all recommended. They claim to be a high end company, but then act like a cheap, fly-by-night outfit when there is an issue.
I bought the heritage leather satchel from pad and quill in November 2018 on sale. I initially was satisfied with the bag. The leather for the most part seems thick and decent quality. I would say the roll top leather, because it's so thin, is probably not full grain. I'm no expert, so I could be wrong, but I think it's not full grain because it's paper thin and can roll up very easily. I bought the bag wrongly assuming that I could carry it like a briefcase too. The one handle, located on one side of the bag, makes carrying the bag by the handle uneven/lop-sided because the weight isn't distributed by two handles. Don't make my mistake by thinking the handle can be used to carry the bag! I'd say the worst part of this bag is the stitching. The parachute grade' stitching really makes me wonder about the safety of parachutes! Within two months, the stitching on the "pad and quill" nameplate broke and has started unraveling. It's likely that the rest of the bag's stitching will start unraveling with some more use. I contacted Pad and Quill inquiring about any fixes, but they've not gotten back to me after a week - oh well! I'd say go for a real heritage brand for a few hundred dollars more.
I am a first time customer. I am very pleased with the roll top backpack, it's a beauty! Will update on durability of product.
