Handbags & jewelry have alot of scammers selling fake items. If You ask the seller if it's authentic & You get a reply back, it still doesn't guarantee that it is authentic. They lie. There is Betsey Johnson & MK jewelry selling ramped on Posh that are not authentic. It is China stuff. Always go to ebay & type in what You are looking for. Coach bags have a creed code. Know more information by googling the item You are perhaps going to buy on Posh. Then compare. Most watches has the model # on the back. Ask for that & then type that in on Ebay. You will see if it is legit & also see if the seller is selling too high. Also there is a # for Coach to call with the creed # & they can tell You if it's authentic or not. A seller writes: Price reflects Authenticity" & is getting away with it. You can email Posh but they really don't care unless many others complain about the seller. Good luck. You're going to need it!

Be smart about it. If something is too good to be true, then that should give you a red flag.

I purchased what was listed as an "authentic" Tiffany key ringWhen I received it, the pouch was not the one in thepictured but a cheap fake. So I took items into Tiffany and the head appraiser told me the key ring was also fake! I have submitted this info to PM along with numerous photos. They are taking a long time with this so Obvious violation! I have to say that I have purchased a few times here with great results.

Hello! Of course, no matter where you go, there will be fakes. There is some fakes on there although Poshmark does a pretty good job about deleting them. If you are purchasing designer items over 500$, Poshmark authenticates them for you.
If you purchase a designer item under 500$, and you get it and it's fake, you can take photos to prove that it is fake and not an authentic item.
"Using common sense" isn't always a good answer. Many people on Poshmark sell things for really cheap because they want to get rid of it or don't know how much it's worth.
Check out their love notes and other sold listings for buyer feedback.

I agree with Katie and Danielle. Furthermore, If you are going to purchase from Poshmark, make sure item will fit otherwise you are stuck with it.

No. However, some stuff is authentic. Use common sense, if you see a Louis Vuitton thats in perfect condition for only $100, its probably fake. Ask the buyer as well and look at the buyer reviews.
