Q-Link is a scam operation. REPORT to the relevant state and federal authorities ASAP! Reps are scammers reading from their scripts. Useless and intend to be useless.

GSM, my phone worked on it for a week but then the SIM locked. I gave up after hours on hold and talking to their reps. Buyer beware.

That's true! No body knows? Its ridiclous! It'll be nothing but problems. Don't bother.

They use Sprint network and say that Sprint and Boost phone work. Customer service told me to wait until I got their free phone to see if I was happy with it and I could switch if I wasn't but now I cannot get a live person and am told via robot that my Boost phone is not eligible even though it is way past 60 days off and unlocked. So, I would say it is just another lie, you cannot bring your own phone, because they want the ads and tracking on you. If you want to try to bring your phone do it from the beginning because if you let them send you their phone you will never get to talk to a live person again and phone will not offer any real help.

Any unlocked phone...just like major phone companies...

Q-Link is not a scam. I switched my iPhone 13 from Verizon to Q-Link a month ago and this saves me hundreds and is a tremendous blessing. They mailed me a SIM card within 48 hours!

I did the process online and it gave me the choice to use the android phone I already had. Then it had to check to see if the model of my phone was compatible, Wich took 30 seconds to get a confirmation that said congratulations, your phone is compatible. Mine was a cheap Motorola 5g ace

Brought it to where? I take mine everywhere! You can bring yours anywhere as well. :)

It's a government program and I brought my phone that was origanally with straight talk then went to metro pcs then to qlink and never had an issue. Phone does have to be unlocked

Agree with Tamy K. If you don't want to put in the time and effort to get set up like Tamy said you can always go to Atnt and pay $60 bucks for the same unlimited talk, text n data plan as you would have through Qlinkwireless and the ACP plan Qlinkwireless runs off T-Mobile towers I don't know about anyone else but I get great reseption with clear calls from Maine to Arizona I did come with my own phone which is a Motorola android 11 g power I'm sure the phone you have has alot to do with how good your reseption is but when I signed up I could of got a free phone but I was given a better phone as a gift only complaint I have is they said I was going to receive a 8" tablet for $25 and I haven't heard anything since I think I'll give them a call but all n all I have no complaints with Qlinkwireless but I did with SafeLink but that's just me like Tamy said this is a government program phone provider for people on disability, low income, on EBT etc! Like I said before you need to put in a little leg work no free handouts without a little bit of work! Hope it's helpful

Agreed with the gentleman previous Jeremy. This is a government offering a free phone for text talk and data for people who can't afford it. I don't take it for granted neither do I believe it's a scam because I use a phone through them. All the accusations above are pointless and incorrect. As with any company that has heavy traffic of calls you must FIB a little bit to get a lot of person if you act like you're trying to set up service you will get someone and they will help you. They just figure if you're already set up I'm sure then you really don't need help as badly as the person who doesn't have a phone. And I think it's probably true that Sprint and possibly boost phones work with it of which I have none minor basically Motorola and one Samsung. If you feel the program is a scam or "not worth the time or trouble, you can always go with T-Mobile and pay $55 for the senior plan for unlimited everything they'll even throw in free Apple TV. And I believe Verizon's cheapest plan is $70. Actually T-Mobile has a plan talk & text only no data whatsoever which means it won't work outside your home, for a mere twenty dollars a month taxes included.

For some unfathomable reason my LG phone isn't compatible with Qlink. Qlink however is trying to sell me another phone that is compatible but looks exactly like my LG. No brand stated for $25 bucks. Garbage

I've got a Samsung Galaxy A51 now but have used an iPhone 7, Motorola pure..., xmobile phone, old LG phones, a couple others that I can't remember...
On website it asks you to see if your phone is compatible, like 10 seconds later, if that long, it will tell you. I have even purchased phones at Dollar General in the past but!, now those phones have to be activated and used for a certain period of time before they will let you switch over to qlink which is a bummer! But if you go on Amazon or Walmart websites, they sell unlocked phones are good prices!
