That means that they have submitted to a criminal background check, which is ok, but that doesn't tell the real story. I won't do it, and nobody successful will... it leaves a footprint and they already have enough background on the men through the site should anything happen.

Background verified means that the member has gone through the background check process and passed the screening. Much like you would for a job interview.
