The sew steady tables are definitely worth the money and wait. Mine took about 4 weeks to arrive and it was well packaged and protected. Very happy customer and will be ordering through sewing machines plus in the future as their customer service and prices can't be beat!
They say that there is a 60 day period where you can return purchased items and then when try to return something they say that it's not returnable They told me that I should have read the really fine print. As a disabled veteran it's really hard to know who to trust

I purchased my 1181 from Sewing Machines Plus who told me I had an option of the adjustable height table with my saying I am only 5'1". This is the lowest it can be lowered (which is three inches higher than my standard sewing tables). I have been through so many phone calls with them to no avail. I have tried a higher chair which makes me have to sit on edge of chair, then eventually it rolls out from under me and I fall. At 72 yo I do not need the falls. Service guys have been NO help and one was rude. I have sewn on it a few times but between the fall and my degenerative disc disease I cannot use this awesome machine.
Also it took 3 weeks of repeated phone calls to learn they did not know what my Servo motor error code meant. When a general sewing machine repairman in our area knew exactly what it meant.
Tip for consumers:
If you are short do not buy this table because they will not make it right!

Ordered a sewing machine. Charged my credit card and have not received the item even though it was advertised as available. Tried to get through to customer service, but stayed in line for 20 minutes or more each time with no contact.
After two plus months and numerous email' s we have not received our order. This place will take your money and then just make excuses and blame Corona. Stay away...

Hemline Slate Blue Quilting Studio Collection Three Bag Trolley Set $229.00 seemed like a decent deal, but when it arrived it looked used. The metal framing was rusted and there was rust on the material inside the bags in some areas. The accessory bag had a bad snag in it. The sewing machine bag itself was also missing both end pieces that Velcro inside it. It's been two weeks since I brought this to their attention and still no replacement, although I was told it shipped over a week ago. I've made phone calls, sent emails, including pictures and returned the used bag and either they ignore me or lie to me. We're getting close to a month now since they took my money and still no bag. Buyer beware!
Wish I had read the reviews of this totally horrible company is before I ordered from them. Don't make the same mistake. Ordered rotary cutter blades on May 8. They sucked the money from my Paypal instantly. Weeks later they sent an email saying the item isn't in stock and there is no ETA for when it will be. They encouraged me not to cancel since they claimed they would be the first to get it when available. More weeks later, nothing from them. I cancelled and requested a refund on June 5. In a bold lie, they said that Paypal charges right away (NOT TRUE with Amazon or most other site purchases) so it would take 8-10 days for the refund to appear. Still NOTHING. Waited on hold for close to 30 minutes, twice. Asked for call back that never came. 17 days after cancellation, waiting on hold until a person answered, the refund is on its way, allegedly. Sketchy and misleading, Stay away.
Placed an order in early April. Called customer service after 2 weeks and was told machine was to ship shortly and just wait. Almost a month later, an email came saying that I should have received the sewing machine and to call if not. I called, was on hold for 58 minutes, got transferred to an answering machine, which was too full to take any additional messages.
At the end of the day, after a month of waiting, I paid but never received the sewing machine that was meant to be a birthday gift for my daughter. The worse part is, this model was still available on Amazon when I placed the order, but I opted for this site based on earlier reviews. Big mistake.
Now I will need to dispute the charge with the credit card company. The company would have been better off saying items were sold out and not ruin its reputation with its inability to satisfy orders or respond to customer inquiries.
I purchased a sewing machine that was in stock because my first choice was out of stock. I was not happy when I received the machine and want to exchange it for my initial choice. I have called numerous times, waiting each time over 45 minutes before hanging up. Was able to leave a message one. Also left several emails. No response. Customer service is deplorable. Very disappointed. I will not buy my replacement there... if they ever do respond to me! I have 60 days per return policy and worry that they will not respond in time. Helpless situation.
Dreadful experience speaking to Laura. This company had a guaranteed $1000 machine sale, but Laura insisted on reading terms and conditions to me, rather than emailing a physical copy, as requested four times during my conversation with her. Laura began to get angry on the phone with me and rudely snapped "well, you're wasting my time here." Far be it for me to waste anyone's time taking my money.
I'm distrustful of a company who insists on not sending a contract to you in writing. I've opted to order my machine from a different company.
UPDATE to prior review... I spoke with the customer service Manager - after explaining all that occurred and problems with the machine, the company has agreed to replace the defective unit.
When replacement arrives, if machine works I will change rating.
Purchased a brand new Allegro Sewing machine as part of a "package special" only to find out a week later that it was the standard discounted price. Machine has not worked, right out of the box. Took 4 phone calls, and several emails with photographs, only to have the technician tell me that "every lady who calls in thinks they know everything!" I never said I know everything, just that I have been sewing on babylock machines for over 20 years and knew that this issue was not normal.
Rude, horrible customer service. On top of a $1300 + machine that I have to ship back, and wait "maybe 3 weeks until they have time to get to it...". My 4th babylock purchase, and this is my LAST! What a flipping waist of time and hard earned money.
I ordered the Dime magnetic hoop over 2 weeks ago and still nothing has shipped to me. It stated that expedited shipping was not available because it ships from another location but 2 weeks is a bit ridiculous. My last 2 emails to them have not been returned. I will update this review when I receive my product

I have waited for 8 weeks, emailed 3 times, spent 2 hours on hold and no one has returned my call or my email. I believe this store has closed and they are stealing our money. Unfortunately I payed through Pay Pal which also seems to have teamed up with scammers (3 separate orders) and are siding with sellers, not buyers. DO NOT order from this seller, unless you have money to throw away.
This was a miserable experience from start to finish. I ordered the sewing machine in April. About 4 weeks later I received an email from the CEO stating that in the midst of the pandemic there was an overwhelming demand for sewing machines-Of course, all the stores in my area were closed. I understand their problems during this time but I saw no improvement in the months i've been dealing with them. Calling customer service was an experience in frustration, I was dissatisfied with the sewing machine and returns have to go through the service department and be approved.(Save your box) Buy from a store where you can try the machine, have a class and talk to someone in person!
Placed an order over Thanksgiving weekend, we're in Christmas week and the product hasn't even shipped yet. When I call, they blame it on the manufacturer and hide behind being a 'drop shipper'. The product description didn't say anything about an extended delay or that it would be ordered from the manufacturer. I won't order from them again.

Please experience this company for yourself. I can't speak for anybody else however I am sooooo happy with my purchase. There customer service was professional. I was not place on a prolong hold with any of my concerns. My machine was up and running with no problems in a few hours. Thank you Sewing Machine Plus. I would purchase from you again.

I've ordered a number of things from Sewing Machines Plus and have been very pleased with the products and the customer service. Their website is easy to use and if a product is coming directly from them, it arrives quickly. If my order isn't going to arrive in a couple days, they let me know why (coming from the company the manufactures the product) and then tell you when to expect it. I ordered a sit down quilter from them (which I love) and they called to confirm that I knew what I had ordered and to explain when it would arrive and what to look for on You Tube to help set it up. I'll definitely order more supplies in the future.
I ordered from here years ago. I got my sewing machine from Joanne Fabrics store in person on sale, and I wanted some thread and other notions. But, Joannes notions can be pretty pricey. This site has excellent deals on most items and I used a coupon from retailmenot, so it was even cheaper!
I received my new Juki with needle positioner two days of ago, because I had to work, today was the first chance I had to set it up. Took me about 60 minutes- but I work in Maintenance, so you might want to double that if you're not used to using tools. I haven't used a swing machine in in about 10 years but it didn't take long for it to come back. This thing sew like a dream. Thanks to Eric for recommending the needle in positioner. It's really great. Everything was set up I just loaded my thread tied it to the piece left in the machine, pulled it through and took off sewing. Can't wait to to take on some projects.

I received my Dress Form a few days after placing my order. And I received the dress form cover a day later. I've ordered from SewingMachinePlus before and the staff is truly amazing. Very nice people and always helpful. I will order from them again.
I placed and order, had issues with payment options. Nicole called and left a message about the issue. I returned the call multiple times and never got a return call. Finally got a chat agent to get a manager to call me. She was rude, thought she knew my issues and when I questioned integrity, got the answer, "not all reviews are accurate". I would steer clear. Purchase from someone who cares about your business.
