on 5/17/15You don't actually sign up but rather after you place your first order you aquire VIP status which entitles you to the special prices that Shoe Dazzle has to offer. The $39.95 (I believe that is the fee) is only charged to your credit card if you do not order by the 5th of each month and this fee is to basically keep your "VIP" status. However, also by the 5th of each month, you do have the option to skip the month and this can be done under your online account or customer service. If your not satisfied or stress about your credit card being unnecessarily charged, it is very easy to cancel your obligation to Shoe Dazzle by calling customer service.
Hello! This is from the ShoeDazzle team. We know that this question was raised over a year ago, but we would like to address it.
There is no sign-up fee. However, it does activate a monthly membership, as explained during checkout. Our membership charges $49.95 a month which can be redeemed for any bundle or single item on site up to $80 VIP price and expires after 12 months from the time it was added to your account.
There's no charge until you make a purchase. After that one of the following three things will happen EVERY MONTH:
A) you choose the skip the month button between the 1st and 5th of the month and have no charge on your card (set a recurring alarm on your phone... it's not that hard to remember)
B) make a purchase by the 5th and there won't be an additional $39.95 charge
C) You forget to skip the month or make a purchase by the 5th. As STATED WHEN YOU SIGNED UP, Shoedazzle then charges $39.95 on your card BUT you don't actually lose that money. It is credited to your VIP account and you can spend it anytime:)
On the rare occasion that I forget to skip by the fifth and I get charged, I just find that as a great excuse to treat myself to a pair of shoes ;)
