In literally 2 minutes, had a $19.99 replacement for my $120/mo cable. I don't like TV anymore, but Sling satisfies my wife's habit while she continues to quit too. Looked into 'long-range' digital antennas, but they're better suited for flatland folks.

I will be informing everyone of this so that others are not ripped off by a disreputable company.

Customer service numbers on website and google were not in service, chat box could not get the answers nedded. Did not want service any longer, any card they have on their file they will use, not the one it should have came from. Refused to give a refund at all. They refuse to let you speak with a supervisor. Worst customer service, not us based at all, all overseas locations no matter where it tells you the corporate office is located. It is overseas. Run from this streaming service, better off with hulu, or any other streaming service rather than this screwed up service. Run like hell from this one.

I canceled my subscription by calling Sling's customer service number in June 2024. Despite this, my account was reactivated without my consent, and I was charged $84. This is unacceptable and unauthorized.
It's not just me; other users have faced similar issues. There is no option to remove my credit card information from the account, which raises concerns. If Sling is not operating in a deceptive manner, why not provide a delete button for payment information? The cancel button on the website doesn't work, and even canceling through customer service doesn't seem to be effective.
I am calling my bank to dispute this unauthorized charge. Everyone will know that Sling took money from me without permission. I will post on every platform until I get my money back.

I tried Sling for two days over a month ago and decided to cancel the service because it was no better than streaming or watching regular TV. However, Sling reactivated my account on 01/15/23 without my consent and charged $86 to my credit card. This is unauthorized and unacceptable.

I can't believe that I can't have a game on all the tv's in my house at the same time! I will be leaving sling and going back to YouTube TV.
We recently "cut the cord" and figured we could get by with having streaming services. Tried Sling in order to get live TV. What a mistake!
There seems to be nothing but old shows, and when you are watching a show, the commercials that come up are ridiculous! They go on forever, and one time even though each ad was relatively short, there were 14 of them one time!
Basically, all shows are unwatchable.
We ended up going back to having a TV bundle with a new provider. So glad to see Sling go away!
In less than 24 hours after signing up for Sling TV I was unable to watch either The Kentucky Derby nor the Lacrosse Championship because, unknow to me, CBS network is not available in my area. These two events were my reason for signing and Sling won't refund my money……. I signed yesterday, May 4, and today is May 5 when I found that I couldn't watch lacrosse. Poor business practice. Sling TV is not worth the money.

The company still charged me even though i cancelled online. Then, I manager came on and said that they cannot get a supervisor on the phone and I asked 2 days and no manager returned my call. I was charged 55. dollars for the upcoming month in which I cancelled but no cancellation was given. I told them the service does not work on my tv and she said basically too bad that they would not give me my money back.

Purchased sling tv to think I could watch march madness with the sports package and couldn't get CBS games or any local channels. Used it for 1 day and called up customer service and stated they can't refund the money. Stuck with a service that I don't want that I can't watch what I want to watch. The heck with Sling TV. Can't believe they won't refund money. Ridiculous
I tried Sling tv and it was the worst I have ever seen. The resolution constantly switched from bad to worse. Unable to get any help, I decided to try Youtube TV and it was great. Then I realized that about the only streaming service that doesen't offer a free trial was Sling TV. Don't sign up for this service unless you can get a free trial. I found out the hard way! I added my dispute of the charge as proof of purchase.

So i have had overpriced sling for a while. My payment method changed i tried to log on to change my payment option and they just make it difficult. Edit payment is hard to find. When i went into the payment it says i signed up through Google however i didn't i use an email and password. Then it doesn't give you an option to put another form of payment. Just frustrating. I was paying $93 a,month for some years now. Now it all ends because they make updating the payment difficult. Plus the service is shaky everytime there's a big game or fight. Sling has gone down significantly

Can NOT watch more that few seconds without being bombarded with zillions adds and it repeats over and over the actual show being watched, and we end up not getting the story nor the show. It is becoming impossible to use sling for watching, we have to resort to Youtube to get our shows. This is unacceptable and very discriminating, everyone I talked to, they have the same issue, I just recorded on my phone 6 minutes of cooking show where I was trying to watch a chef recipe, and out of the 6 minutes, I barely heard less than a minute total broken up with over 5 minutes of ads (and many duplicate of them) and could not get any thing. Rewind several times and the same thing happens, I would say I spent over an hour trying to get to watch and always get the broken by ads that runs over the show and you miss everything as if not watching anything, and the same thing happens on other sling channels. What are we paying for? I suppose for this mess, they should we be paying us to watch all of these ads because we don't get to watch any shows, only few broken words between many many ads which make it useless

This is one of the worst streaming companies I have had to deal with. Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu don't treat their customer like that. Only sling charge you for the service I never used, they are saying, because it is in their policy, with no refund whatsoever. People do your homework before signing up with Sling. I wish I could give them no star at all.

I have been duped one too many times by Sling's cancelation failures. They have set up a cancelation system that does not cancel your credit card from billing you! I was not refunded my money when this happened to me on 2/19/24. They stole my money using this easy to cancel system! BEWARE!

They offer no solutions and deflect blame, service is shoddy, but expensive, buffers all the time glitches. Service went from $25 to $60 within three months. Customer service was rude and offered no solutions. Deflected mistakes on their behalf and hung up in my face.
I received a gift card for Sling for $25, which covers the first month of service. However, when I went to redeem the gift card, Sling automatically took the promotion away. Apparently, even though my mom purchased one month of service for me for $25 in the form of a card, Sling will not honor the $20 first month promotion. They force you to spend another $20-25 dollars, effectively making double on the fact that you purchased the gift card! This is disingenuous and fraud. I spoke with agents over chat and they informed me that it was not possible to allow me to use the gift card with a promotional offer. They also informed me that they could not refund me for the amount of the gift card.
I have the best of the best when it come to internet access and wifi access and sling is the only app that I Constantly and I mean constantly have issues. It constantly freezes and just stops for absolutely no reason, so annoying, and the company sling is ripping ppl off of their hard earned money and not putting money back into the company to produce a quality entrainment service.
The service itself is fine. Nothing special, just fine. No surprise then that when a problem does come up (in our case an error code) they had no interest in fixing it or offering a refund. We contacted them multiple times concerning the same issue. It was an error that they needed to resolve, not something we could fix on our end. Finally cancelled and moved to a different service.

I purchased this under the premise of 50% off my 1st month, a new total of $20. At checkout, the total changed to $30. My card statement was for $40. Then I had no access to any of my local channels to watch the games that I originally wanted this for. I tried to cancel it, but was told I couldn't because it was a prepaid subscription without refund options. Do not waste your time or your money on this, you will be very disappointed.
