Hi everyone, I'm wondering if the sunglasses of Smartbuyglasses are really authentic as they come from hong kong, and the brand, which I bought (Tom Ford) is made in Italy, how can I be sure that they are authentic?

What do you think about it?

Hi Manual L,

You can be assured all of our products are 100% authentic. We source them directly from the authorised distributors and manufacturers of the brands to guarantee this.

We understand that our prices may seem a bit too good to be true (as Ivan K. Mentioned, high street prices can be 3x more expensive) and this is because we have close relationships with the manufacturers and don't need to maintain costly physical stores. These savings are passed on to our customers.

If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to email our Service Manager at servicemanager@smartbuyglasses.com

Regards,
Ben

I bought a pair of Julbo from them and it also shipped from Hong Kong. It looked and felt fake so I bought another pair from another store and contacted the brand owner and they told me that SmartBuyGlasses is NOT one of their distributors. Upon comparing the two, the one that I bought from them really looking fake. A few months later the lense started to crack... that is so not suppose to happen with a polycarbonate lense! The product was defective when it left the factory on France? Possible... in any case I will never buy from them again

Customs seized my delivery and confiscated them as counterfeit goods.

I've purchase a pair of Ralph a few months ago. I'm really satisfied with them and they seem pretty legit to me.

I bought Ray Bans and they also came from Hong Kong which makes them suspicious, however I was assured they were genuine and offered a full refund if I compared them to ones from a Ray Ban shop and found them to be fakes. So either they are very, very good fakes, or simply made in Hong Kong like a lot of high end goods.

The only way to tell is to compare with those authentic retailed at 3x price. I compared my Ray Bans and did not find differences: I am pro engineer and know a lot about technology, i would know the difference.
