Here’s what consumers have asked with answers from Speechpad staff and previous consumers.
You were being paid to review transcripts and ensure that only high quality work is delivered to the customer. However, you attempted to take advantage of us by submitting transcripts either were not reviewed at all or still had many errors. Luckily, our Q. A. processes were able to detect that this was going on. Since we had to pay workers to do the jobs that you were supposed to do, we withheld payment to you on those jobs. In the cases where you did the work you were supposed to do, you received full payment.
Hi Dom. You can find lots of answers to your questions about transcription on the Internet. If you have a good command of English, punctuation, attention to detail, have the right equipment and can listen well, you shouldn't have a problem. Transcription is not for everyone. You should practice a bit before you submit an actual transcript. Be sure to read the style guide that is attached to each job. Email worker@speechpad.com with any questions or if you have problems.
