on 2/12/16No. If you are purchasing anything with electronic components, you have a 50 percent chance of getting defective product. And when you do, they will answer every single one of your communications appealing for your patience until the time period has expired for you to file a case with eBay.
There's a high probability that you'll lose your money and not get the item (which will be cheap rubbish anyway). If you do make an order, the first sign they are going to con you is that you'll be told it's delayed because of some national holiday or the ship's late. DON'T give them extra time - go straight for a resolution through eBay. Study the positive feedback on this site, some are genuine, most are pigeon English. That's because they are spoof accounts by Tomtop to create an illusion. Good luck.
Tomtop bombard you with emails and I found them to be fake. It took me ages to get resolution but from PayPal not Tomtop.
Do not buy from Tomtop! Tomtop stated a 5 to 21 business day delivery. After 25 business days (5 weeks) ordered item didn't arrive. Shipping link did not work. After four attempts to contact TOMTOP with no reply I entered a dispute with Paypal.
TOMTOP finally contacts me saying if I should contact their service department. Obviously my previous communications went ignored. Eventually TOMTOP admitted that the item was never sent in the first place! They went on to say that they would send it if I dropped the dispute. Yeah right. So all the shipping info was fake so why trust them. I did eventually get a refund via PayPal but suggest you buy from Banggood who have proven to be reliable and do not lie.
I ordered a KKMOON security camera from them which carries 1 year warranty. The camera stopped working after three months. KKMOON customer support does not answer phone calls. TOMTOP offered to take it back if I pay for the return. When I found that the cost to return it is the same as the price of the camera, I wrote PAYPAL that it is not fair to pay $ 50 to perhaps geting $ 50 back. Paypal response was to dismiss the dispute and offer nothing in return. So I ended having a piece of junk for $ 50. Trade with them at your own risk.
They are absolutely horrible. The fact that they don't send their supposedly "hot" items is one thing. I understand that. Cancelling the order was not uncomplicated via e-mail, but it worked. The worst thing of all is that they are still holding onto my money for something they have never bothered dispatching. Absolute garbage company, if you have any smarts, then stay away from them and pay the extra price tag that it takes if you order from your local vendor of trust, such as Amazon or whoever is dominant in your region. Very very big mistake to trust them, and there is nothing I can do to force my $#*!ing money back. Paypal is a joke too, since they give these sharks weeks and weeks to reply to opened cases. Buyer protection and instant payment bull$#*!. And now tell me, how do you take legal action against some foreigner scammers from China? Virtually impossible. Never has online shopping been such a torture as in this experience of mine.
Buying only $ 50.00 can not evaluate this store, everyone who claims here are completely correct, because TOM TOP is the worst of all and a little more. I am owed the refund of $ 200 3 months ago (batteries lipos that did not ship). I do not recommend anyone to this suffering. Look for Aliexpress, Ebay Banggood and etc.
